Review Donut King Toormina - Coffs Harbour

Ordered 12 hot mini donuts. Staff forgot to tell me that had to make a new mixture until I enquired how long my order for 12 mini donuts would be. I patiently waited. Order was finally handed to me.... with an apology for the delay. I received 12 large donuts. I explained I ordered mini donuts. I'm not sure what frustrated me more. The wait, the lack of communication or the staff member constantly checking her phone. I gifted the excess donuts to a lady with grandchildren. The donuts were hot, fresh and yummy. Customer Care and Communication would be great additions to your staff training.

Terrible customer service! Darker skinned man with glasses was snappy and unprofessional towards my grandmother when she tried to order a coffee. We won’t be coming back and we be making a complaint to your head office.

Best donuts in town. The thickshakes are great if you can actually get a decent one. I've ended up with a milkshake instead many times. They don't always give the 2 cinnamon donuts for $2 extra with any drink when the sign states they do, therefore i get charged twice as much. Today asked for an extra thick thickshake and the girl who served me didn't hide her annoyance at my simple request. Anyhoo, depending on who's serving at DK (there's 2 who really look like they'd rather be elsewhere and aren't pleasant at all) I'll go to Muffin Break as they do great thick shakes too and the service is way better and their scones and muffins are yum.

Will not be returning! Arrived at 4.32pm on a Friday for a donut and milkshake with my 2 daughters only to be told “sorry we not doing any more milkshakes as we have to clean up to ensure we leave on time.” Ok what about fresh donuts? “Yeah sure we could probably just make you 2!!!! So myself and the 3 other customers behind me took out milkshake order across to muffin break who was more than happy to attend to our needs. Very disappointing possibly suggest altering your closing hours to 4.30pm.

Worst experience I have Eva had at fast food place. Waited nearly 20 minutes for a cup tea and not once did they apologise for delay or let me know how long it would be & double charged us. Won't be going here Eva again. 😡

On December 30th, 2019, I was waiting in line to order my food from here. As it is school holidays and there are lots of people around, I waited my turn ready to order my food. The Manager acknowledged me and said won't be a minute as she was making some orders previously to mine. When the manager came back, she began to serve 5 different customers their orders even though I was at the counter waiting to get served myself. I said "I was the next in line" and she said "you weren't at the counter waiting to be served when I got back" (even though I was standing their and got acknowledged by the girl making the coffees). Poor customer service. I took my business elsewhere and had a caramel milkshake and muffin from Muffin Break.

I had been there some time ago under the previous ownership & I thought it was outlandishly expensive @ that time. More recent visits have bin much more reasonably cost wise & the donuts R good.

Great coffee. Great staff. Give Max a raise, he deserves it
