Review Guzman Y Gomez - Coffs Harbour - Coffs Harbour

Friendly welcoming staff! Food was hot and fresh. Chip portions were disappointing. The cups are small but to not even have them filled to the top... Toilets inside needed a good clean and the floors too.

Ordered on menulog. Nachos stale, big chunks of beef, missing fries. I seems they just don't care enough to take pride in their work and just slapped it together and then took their time delivering it. Honetly gross. Not my first negative experience with this store but will be my last.

I used to be a regular customer (sometimes daily, oops) It’s so disappointing witnessing the decline of what used to be really yummy and top quality food compared to other fast food restaurants. I’m usually not the fussiest person when it comes to not-so fresh chips or missing items but after tonight when I had to choose between the dry, questionable smelling shredded mushroom that I genuinely thought might have been dog food (I’m being serious) or eating the dreaded soggy and cold chips I was getting all too familiar of.. The small coke was the tastiest out of the lot. I tried to give it a chance with crossing my fingers hoping for the hit and got the miss, ..again. Like damn, what happened GYG?

Unfortunately this is was the most unappetizing Enchilada and Nacho's (Vegetarian)I've ever tasted! The Enchilada has no sauce and is filled with rice, capsicum, burn or raw onion and a couple of black beans. No re fried beans at all in either dish. I am So disappointed as the Byron Bay one was Beautiful food n beverage. The frozen margarita was sour and tasted like preservatives to boot... The little drive through restuarant was very cozy and not a lot of room for social distancing. The young man that served us was sweating profusely and the uncooked food was stacked up in view of everyone with nothing sealing them. I could not stay in this restaurant as I felt very claustrophobic and the noise was overwhelming. Sorry but for my Husband and I this was not a nice experience , plus a $50 meal neither of us want to eat...

Saturday 10-07-2021: Waited 20 minutes for breakfast tacos only to be told there was a mix up. Waited another 5 minutes. Not exactly fast food. Gave me a couple free fries coupons as a sorry- shame they are expired.

Chips were tiny. Burrito was cold except meat was warm slightly. Coffee was cold but tasted alright. Stuff was slow. Will not be back not a happy experience :(

If you like cold and soggy burritos, you might like this place. I thought I’d give it a try this afternoon hoping I just had a one off bad experience last time (food poisoning)… absolutely disgusting. I do not recommend at all.

Service was better than any store in the Sydney area, just a little disappointed that they seem to no longer do the churros toast. Otherwise everything was perfect.

Love the food at GYG. It's not super cheap like other fast food outlets but it's DELICIOUS and FRESH, never leaving you with regrets for eating it. Every time we've eaten there the standards are consistent with friendly service. When you go knowing that GYG is somewhere between a fast food outlet and restaurant the prices are on point. I'm stoked to have Good Mexican Food on the Coffs Coast that is so accessible and not at full restaurant prices. Thank you GYG!!!

Just been here for my first time and found that their staff are the best! Such friendly and hospitable service to turn a simple eat-and-run meal into an enjoyable experience - thanks guys for the great attitude towards your work!

We’ve been three times now kids are loving exploring the menu! Such a nice change for Coffs Harbour food. Friendly service! Looks like they’ve taken their training wheels off and are going for gold! I think I like the barramundi burrito the best so far!

Very impressed with the knowledgeable service around gluten free options from staff recently (1 August)

Pretty disappointing. Have eaten GYG all over the country and have never had a bad experience until now. The steak enchilada I got was half the size you usually get and full of rice.

Bit dissapointed.. really expensive i felt for what you get.. and my partner had nachos with steak and steak was really dry.. felt it all didnt have a lot flavour really..walked out after spending $50 on 3 of us no booze... deflated. The girls serving were lively and friendly though.

Really bad. I've eaten at various gyg around the place and they are normal so good but the coffs harbour one is so bad. Food is cold and soggy, burritos small and inedible. The nachos are just a soggy pile of indistinguishable foods. Lukewarm soggy chips. Big thumbs downs. Wont be back.

Stopped into the drive-thru late last night. In fact we were probably the last customers. We could see them inside trying to close up shop. The crew was super nice and accommodating!! As always GyG satisfied our late night hunger. Thank you to the staff for being great and wonderful last night!

Experienced my first GYG breaky Burrito and coffee this morning... fantastic service and a delicious meal. Even went back for lunch, at a busy time my meal was served to my table by friendly staff, fresh and with a minimal wait! Well done team!! I promise I’ll be back

Staff are friendly and helpful however Coffs GYG food just isn't as good as the other GYG stores i often visit in the Gold Coast. I have been to Coffs GYG several times now hoping things will improve but I'm still disappointed. My main concerns are - far too much rice compared to other stores, food is always luke warm and never hot, corn chips/tacos tend to be soggy or soft. I'm not one to complain but just hope it gets better soon. Miss my QLD GYG stores.

I had breakfast at GYG yesterday. Yum! Coffee was great as was the food. Looking forward to working my way through the breakfast menu.

Dreadful. Will not be back. Ordered beef and chicken tacos. Could only just hear the staff member. Was not given the option of soft or hard shell. Got soft shells which were very small - pikelet size. Certainly didn’t look like what’s on the brochure. Meal was luke warm. Both were in one container and when opened the shell was soggy and both meats were all mixed in together. The chips, with melted cheese and tomato, were cold. Overall grossly overpriced for what I got.
