The staff were amazing and so helpful! I have a dietary restriction and they were very accommodating and kind. Food was good too. Highly recommend.

Solid breakfast experience. Great value for money and tasting chai latte with honey (and with soy milk alternative)

Absolutely sensational. A colleague and I were driving through town and stopped for a coffee. I ordered a takeaway Bacon and Egg roll (a tradie favourite). It came out from the kitchen hot, fresh, and delicious. Freshly sizzled bacon, egg (maybe even 2 eggs), tomato relish and melted cheese served between focaccia bread. Very reasonably priced 😁 Warm atmosphere, friendly staff, and a very well suited chef. Definitely returning when I drive through again.

This Cafe is clean and neat with art work on display that is for sale. It's centrally located and the host Sandi is very welcoming and always wears a smile. There's a good selection of cooked to order food on the menu with focaccias and cakes depending on your liking. They make great coffee's and they also have a small selection of alcohol. We're slowly making our way through the menu and thus far all dishes have been more than acceptable, well presented and not over sized portions. It's a country Cafe and it does a great job.

Great staff and ambience. <br/>Food isn't too bad. Over and under seasoning, high acidic levels in food and COLD hollandaise (WTH) other better options for breakfast in town. <br/>Lunch menu is relatively better slightly.

Dropped in for a quick bite to eat on our way down to Port Campbell. Service was prompt and attentive but the Food was just OK and I'll try somewhere else on my way through next time. Chicken wrap the chicken was super dry and chewy and fairly bland. Someone else ordered a breakfast turkish bread which was cooked to within an inch of its life in a sandwich press.

Great food, attentive service, packed busy on Monday lunch!<br/>We loved the salad, frittata and scoop fries. Generous servings of condiments, and attention to detail like ice and straws with cold drinks without asking.<br/>Decor a tad weathered, the venue needs to match the great food inside!

Multiple bad encounters here!<br/>1. Black eggs with hair <br/>2. Kicked out on a Friday night at 7.30pm because they wanted to close<br/>3. Uncleared table all night when 5 people or order 3 or 4 drinks each.. It's hard to eat with no room<br/>4. Impolite manager<br/>5. Don't serve gravy... How Unaustralian<br/>6. Wouldn't let a regular customer Eftpos $8 <br/><br/>

Bad coffee, average food. Ordered a latte - only about 2cm of coffee and the rest of the cup was just foam. <br/>Ordered eggs and bacon; eggs well overdone, bacon still with rine. Service was OK from the waitress however waiting in line to pay for a good 5 minutes while the lady at the counter was too busy talking to customers she obviously already knew. Overall: I won't be back and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

Bad. Took a long time to take our order and even longer to prepare it. If you feel like nesquick order one of their milkshakes.

I'm not sure where to begin here.<br/>The customer service can only be described as well below average. After waiting 20 minutes to have an order taken while the cafe was all but quiet was the first red flag. One waitress managed to save the day by acknowledging us after all previous waitresses ignored any eye contact made. Thankyou.<br/><br/>Red flag number two was when an espresso was served, tasting bitter and burnt. <br/><br/>It took another 20 minutes for our meal to arrive only to be further disappointed. Dry feta, an entire avocado puréed with what seemed like too much pepper and not enough lemon to match. It became evident that it was too much to ask for a slice of lemon when asking politely, as we were given attitude and a waitress walking off mumbling under her breath, we ended up with 1/8th of lemon to somehow bring this meal to life. Without a doubt the most ridiculous portions to a plate. <br/><br/>As we paid I told the waitress my split order, two meals and two drinks, "ok" the waitress took my money without recalling back. My apologies for taking no notice of the end amount-I really should have. Maybe I was still feeling empty after not finishing my meal, whatever it was. My apologies. The rest of the meal was paid for only to have one order left. An order I assumed I had already paid for. Instead of an apology I copped attitude from the waitress. <br/>"Yeah well I recalled it back to you"<br/><br/>I'm sorry love, but no-no you most certainly did not. <br/><br/>Let me allow myself to tell you that your attitude was the reason I have a distaste in my mouth: you are front of house, the face to a cafe. I can accept that one waitress may have be relatively new, who came back a few times to check and double check just incase. But you-whoever you may be, need to take a step back and re-adjust your body language. Rolling your eyes at me when I told you I had already previously stated all four items on my order was completely unnecessary. Excuse me for getting you on your bad day. This is your job and I am positive, a happy 15 year old would take you place who wants the job! The food wasn't as woeful as your attitude.

Will never be an above 80% cafe. <br/><br/>What was that I just ate ?!

Weak tasteless coffee: farmers wife about three shops down is much better.

Not very keen on the food, taste like it has come our of a jar. <br/>Cakes are terrible. <br/>No one seems to be able to froth milk properly so a long black or tea is the only thing I can get here. <br/>Not really a fan and I avoid Gravity as much as I can.

Loud & unfriendly. I had the misfortune of visiting Gravity cafe Colac last wekekend 11th May. I have been there many times in the past and have always found their food simple but nice.<br/>However, I have vowed to never go there again. I was greeted by "Sandy" who I presume to be the manager. He manner was rude & abrupt. She banged our coffees and meals down on the table and never said a word. When she took our order from her body lanaguage it was easy to assume she was disinterested and we were intruding on her life.<br/>The other waiting staff seemed to wander aimlessly and it took forever to have out table cleared. We were not offered further coffees or asked if we wanted anything else. <br/>The atmosphere inside Gravity is not overly pleasant. it is loud and every noise echoes throughout this tiny but long building.<br/>It is difficult to have a pleasant conversation with anyone at your table due to the over powering ambient nosie.<br/><br/>I think McCafe is a much better option if you are passing through Colac and want good service. Gravity is crap

Nice little place in the middle of town which was recommended to us as the best around. I had the Gravity brekkie which was substantial and very nice. The eggs were cooked beautifully as we're the other components including sausage, bacon and mushrooms. My partner had the eggs Benedict and enjoyed them very much. The coffee was quite nice too. The service was friendly and attentive. I'd very much like to return one day.

Excellant brekkie, fantastic service

Standards still haven't improved. Poor coffee, poor quality food. There are better options in Colac. Lift your game guys!<br/><br/><br/>-----10 Jul, 2012-----<br/><br/>Stopped in for a coffee one morning. The latte I ordered was pretty standard but had a lot of room for improvement. The staff require further training for their coffees to become something special. di Manfredi coffee is used.

Good counrty fare, though th.... Good country fare, though the menu tries to be a bit cute with items like Gravity Brekkie. Highlights were fresh orange juice, good quality toast and surprisingly fluffy scrambled eggs. Only off note was the frozen hash brown patty.

Won't be back. Went for a coffee, which was below average.<br/>Didn't get a good feeling for the place, greasy menus, milk frothing jug looked pretty unhygenic with milk continually being reheated.

If you like rissotto look no further in Colac.Gravity menu has a good range to select from and the decor is pleasing with friendly staff working there. I like it and I'm fussy :)
