Exploitation Cafe...
Tried feeding my young family on holiday at Coles Bay near Freycinet, but it turned out to be an APPALLING EXPERIENCE!
Bought three "burgers": sliced bread was used, but no bun, and one canape-sized pattie each. Just look at the quality of food there.
Gross. Didn't qualify as
Four take-away burgers ($6.50 each) and one grilled fish ($12) ordered. Took an extremely long time (35-40min) for food to arrive, and there was only one other person waiting. I think they must have cooked one burger at a time.
Food itself was OK quality. Kids enjoyed the burgers (wholemeal buns us
Same experiance as the rest of the reviews here. Extremely expensive and rubbish product. Takes advantage of a tourist spot by ripping everyone off as they dont need repeat customers. Stay away
Waited almost 30 mins for 2 burgers and 1 order of fries. There were barely any customers. Burger was dry and the dressing was so acidic that me and my friend both choked on it multiple times. The fries were good though.
The older lady was also very rude. Would not recommend this place!!!!
The owner needs to learn basic customer service skills or not run a business. He seemed to be disgruntled whenever a customer entered. 20-30 minute wait on food both times I ordered and it wasn’t even busy. The cook in the kitchen on the other hand was nice and friendly.
Wish I had of read the reviews before buying dinner. Was hoping for local fresh fish but no they served a very small portion of frozen flathead. $16 for 3 tiny pieces of frozen fish.
Food tasted great but very overpriced. They wanted $1 for a few salt sachets. We do realize that it is peak season though.
Absolutely horrible food. You'd expect nice seafood from a take away on the water... Nope! Got better seafood from a frozen box at a dodgy supermarket. Disgusting!
