Review Authentic Thai Taste - Collingwood

It’s the most authentic Thai I ever had here, however I didn’t tried so many Thai food. Because Thai food is always leave me the impression that the cuisines are so sweet to finish. But here I can find dishes best suits my taste. It’s a lovely place for either dates or a get together for many people. The staffs are very friendly. In one word, restaurant worth to try.

An excellent place for fresh Thai food. I had the cashew seafood stir fry which was excellent. The Mrs had the Pad Thai Prawn which she rated as 4 out of 5. They had two genuine Thai beers to choose from, I had the Singha which was refreshing and a bit of quaffa! Over all, a place worth visiting if you like Thai.

I've visited this place many times in the past (over 2-3 years ago) and just recently revisited the place. While the price and portion are still reasonable, i have to sadly say that the quality has gone down abit. Tom yum soup tasted less sour than it used to be, and the garlic pork has a strong oyster sauce flavour and hardly garlicky. The fried fish with apple is not bad. Service is good and place is quiet. Used to be a busy place especially on the weekend, but when we went on Saturday, there's only 6 people including us. Really hope the quality will improve.

Excellent value for money, the staff are courteous and helpful and the food well proportioned. We had the fish and it tasted very fresh and flavourful. Would highly recommend it.

If you love thai food with generous portion to share atound, this is the place!

Sadly had a really poor experience here. Server's English was so poor that we had to back and forth for an extended period to get the order correct and confirmed. Then they didn't have the drinks we asked for that were advertised on the menu. Finally after 30 min and being the only customers in the store and not having received food we needed to leave and asked if it could please be changed to take away. No problems... another 20 min and still nothing, others came in after us for take away and when I asked they said they had had to wait over 45 min for their two meals and we ordered four!!! I returned to the counter and was told another five minutes and when it came out (10 min later) there was no rice although it had been ordered. We were picking up our stuff when the server came over and asked to be paid for the rice. Needless to say we declined to pay for the rice we thought we had already ordered and paid for it. Also, no cutlery was provided so we couldn't eat our food until we got home much later! Was fairly tasty but sadly not worth the poor experience. Consequently do NOT recommend this place - poor service and no apology and no recognition of anything amiss. Will not return.

Amazing range of options that actually make it difficult to choose. The table service is fantastic. Despite the fact that there were two large groups here, we, a small table of three, still had attentive and responsive service. The meals were little longer than normal which was to be expected. They also explained and apologized for that.

Such amazing authentic Thai food at a fraction of the cost of the others in the area. Truly is "Authentic" Thai taste. We were a party of 3 and ate like kings for $25 a head. Definitely get the crispy pork salad and laab gai and pretty much anything else on the menu. This place is super yummy and super affordable! A hidden gem and definite must! Yum!
