Will come back for:
+ Thai milk tea
+ Tom yum soup
+ Basil fried rice
+ Pork Shank
+ Banana in sticky rice
The food in this new Thai restaurant is on point in terms of flavors and taste. The Thai milk tea was delicious and a great drink with the meal. The Tom yum soup was spicy, packed with fresh ingredients (we ordered seafood in our soup) and tangy; great way to kick off the meal. The basil fried rice was moorish and smokey. The pork shank is clearly really bad for you - fried super crispy on the outside and deliciously moist and tender inside. A definite indulgence dish to be shared. And we also had the banana in sticky rice that was also pretty good especially with the fragrance of the banana leafs. The place could do with a little bit more heating though as the space was big and the winter draft certainly cool down the place quickly when the door gets opened. Service was quick and friendly. Will definitely be back with a bunch of friends next time!
A gorgeous Thai restaurant just off the busy streets of Fitzroy. The venue is stunning, with its colourful walls, rich decorations and romantic vibe. The staff are extremely friendly and patient too.
We started off with some Thai Milk Tea and prawn crackers to nibble on. The milk tea was so amazing - we drank it all within seconds! The prawn crackers were addictively crunchy and paired well with the satay sauce.
Then came the appetisers. We had the spring rolls, curry puffs and crispy tofu (all vegetarian). The spring rolls were delicious and crispy, and the sweet chilli sauce was very nice. I loved the pastry on the curry puffs - so flakey and crumbly! The crispy tofu was delicious and I loved the sweet sauce.
For mains, we had the Pad Thai, Ginger Stir Fry, Thai Salad, Soft Shell Crab Papaya Salad and the Pork Shank (both chef specials). All the dishes were outstanding! The soft shell crab was so crispy and delicious, and it wasn’t just all batter either! The pork shank was incredible too (and HUGE!). The skin was so crispy and addictive, and the meat was very tender on the inside. It comes with a nice sweet and sour dipping sauce which goes perfectly with the meat. Definitely worth trying!
For dessert, we had Deep Fried Ice Cream and the Banana in Sticky Rice. The latter was very interesting - steamed sticky rice wrapped in banana leaf, with a hint of banana. And of course, you can never go wrong with deep fried ice cream!
Overall we had an amazing time at O’Cha and it’s definitely worth giving a go!
Thank you so much for having us!

I had a great experience at O'Cha in Collingwood. The food was all super tasty, service was great and I was happy to have so many vegan options!
We tried, veggie spring rolls, curry puffs and fried tofu for entrée.
For mains we had the tofu salad, ginger tofu stir fry and of course Pad Thai! It was all so delish, fresh and satisfying.

It’s the most authentic Thai I ever had here, however I didn’t tried so many Thai food. Because Thai food is always leave me the impression that the cuisines are so sweet to finish. But here I can find dishes best suits my taste. It’s a lovely place for either dates or a get together for many people. The staffs are very friendly. In one word, restaurant worth to try.
An excellent place for fresh Thai food. I had the cashew seafood stir fry which was excellent. The Mrs had the Pad Thai Prawn which she rated as 4 out of 5. They had two genuine Thai beers to choose from, I had the Singha which was refreshing and a bit of quaffa! Over all, a place worth visiting if you like Thai.
Excellent value for money, the staff are courteous and helpful and the food well proportioned. We had the fish and it tasted very fresh and flavourful. Would highly recommend it.
If you love thai food with generous portion to share atound, this is the place!
Such amazing authentic Thai food at a fraction of the cost of the others in the area. Truly is "Authentic" Thai taste. We were a party of 3 and ate like kings for $25 a head.
Definitely get the crispy pork salad and laab gai and pretty much anything else on the menu. This place is super yummy and super affordable! A hidden gem and definite must! Yum!
