I came here about 12 months ago with my kids and then again recently. Really enjoy the vibe, the menu and the staff. Firstly the coffee was great and not too much froth which seems to be a trend at the moment. I ordered the 'comforting croissant' and it was so fresh and light. Delicious. Got myself a seat on the lovely brown leather couch and read the paper while the world just buzzed by outside. Also like the simple, funky, earthy decor. Big thank you to the staff who were so friendly and helpful. Takeaway food available. Dietaries catered for - just let the staff know. Parking isn't too bad out the front. Seating outside and inside. Wheelchair accessible. Kid friendly.
Called in this cafe while walking the dog. Had a strong latte outside on the terrace. Service was fine, coffee came very quick. It looked and tasted good, but was a bit too hot to my liking. Cafe looks nice inside, but terrace is very basic. It would be nice if they would put some more effort in the outside seating area.
I work nearby and love coming here for the friendly service. They do great toasties and other quick lunch items. The coffee is also great. Sensory Labs, well made. I judge my coffee by how the barista handles the soy milk, and I have never had bad coffee here.
Such a lovely little cafe - toasted flat breads were 10/10 staff were really lovely very relaxed and friendly vibe. Maybe don't go here if you're in a rush though
@Sitting across the road from this cafe yesterday I saw how busy it was and looking for a coffee I called in.
The service here was lovely, really friendly and welcoming. Do you ever get the feeling when you walk into a place that you feel really welcome and the that the staff are genuinely happy to see you?
Well that's how I felt walking in here. This place was so warm and friendly so I ordered a skinny latte and sat down.
Looking around I noticed that this place sells biodynamic and organic wherever possible which is fantastic.
When I drank my coffee it tasted different, better than other coffees that I've drank before. Maybe it was the biodynamic milk or the brand of coffee, I'm not really sure but I pulled out my book and absorbed the atmosphere.
I felt so good after this coffee, I felt more relaxed and at ease even though I had a good hit of caffeine haha
They also had a coffee and a treat (protein ball) for $5 which is good value given that my coffee cost $3.70. Perfect!
This place had a lounge to sit on and next time I might just take a good book and a blankie haha
I'm definitely coming back here, thank you Libertine and Co for making me feel so welcome 🙂
Libertine & Co is a charming café that serves some of the best coffee in Melbourne alongside comforting food options. The key word here is feel good and this theme runs throughout the entire eatery. The café boats large windows allowing plenty of natural light to flood in and creating an airy atmosphere perfect to enjoy them humble but incredibly gratifying food.
This cute little cafe boasts a very reasonably priced menu. While the menu is pretty much your typical cafe menu dishes don't come out with the best presentation, all food tasted great. The owner- Libby is delightful beyond words and does her best to accommodate all needs. Coffee is decent too.
Love this place, so welcoming and cute! Service is great, can't wait to visit again. Menu was a little small when they first opened but that has expanded nicely
Thank you to all of the friendly staff at Libertine and Co who have made my visits so pleasurable to this lovely cafe in Collingwood.Â
This spot has a very warm and friendly vibe with great service, yummy chai, teas, coffee and great food.
Parking is easy and the cafe is very light and bright with fresh flowers.
I look forward to my next visit!
I have frequented Libertine & Co since it opened mid last year. It's my go to place whenever I am chasing a warm, homely cafe for a quick cup of coffee or a relaxed sit down meal. The coffee is excellent, the food is fantastic and the staff are always a pleasure to talk to. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a new spot for breakfast, lunch or a takeaway coffee in Collingwood.
