Review Green Burger - Collingwood

If you're after fake meat burger you may love them. Although found the burgers very salty and processed. The chips were okay ( harder ) but not giving any competition for the local pubs. Certainly different, not for me ( it rarely happens and maybe it is for under 30 s or younger crowd who likes processed food and still like to be vegetarian 🙃). The staff were lovely and service great, do try them as they are lovely, it maybe your thing, never know!

Large menu. Great variety. Food was incredible. I was with a group of 5, and we all ordered different items. All of which tasted great. I try not to go to the same place twice, but I'll definitely be coming back here. The person who served us was so kind, polite, and patient. Great place. I'm happy haha

I cannot fathom how great GB burgers are! We ordered the Big Mock, The Nash and The Dill burger. All 3 were beautifully made, almost melt in your mouth, no pull, bun was soft and fresh, flavours paired well. Our favourite was The Nash! I think about you everyday 😅 seriously flawless, couldn't fault, wouldn't. Service was great too! The best vegan burger I’ve ever had. I love it so much. Get the colonel and eat it fresh, not delayed/takeaway. Image shows the Colonel and the Buffalo. Both fantastic!

Loved the Colonel, it was the most delicious of the bunch! The Pulled was a close 2nd. Overall great mock meat!

Flexitarian here. This is as good as i have ever tasted. Crispy chicken burger with salt and vinegar chips. So good.

WOWEE these burgers are legit. I was a first time customer last weekend and man was I impressed. I had the Buffalo Sando and my better half had the Colonel and we shared the salt n vinegar chips. All 3 things were just downright delicious and so satisfying. It was so good it’s now my new favourite burger. I’ll be back to try the rest of the menu. 👌🏼

Ordered the pull pork burger was quite salty. Maybe will have a go at the other burgers reading the positive comments below. Giving it a 4 stars for the friendly staff and for it being vegan!

I LOVED this burger. I had a the colonel burger and it was basically KFC! Mouth watering mock chicken with mock bacon, lettuce pickles & delicious sauce on a soft bun (my favourite!) I also had the coleslaw which tasted better then I remember the real thing tasted! The fries were in point and I also grabbed a delicious vanilla soft serve! Can’t wait to get back here and try another burger they all look so good! Vegan food for the win!!

All vegan gem🥳! Fair few visits in and have got around three or more of the burgers, kebab special or more recent the HSP. I am always drooling at the food as it comes out. Food is great and staff are laid back. The lights inside are ultra dim and although I would like them brighter it doesn’t ruin the food times!

10/10 restaurant for vegans, vegetarians and omnis alike. There are thousands of burger places opening up and I think this one is the tippity top. They're also regularly on Eat Club during the week and they pay their staff proper wages ✊🏼

Really good burgers, it's really hard to find burgers near Collingwood that are vegan or vegetarian. It came out nice and hot, with a dry bun and overall chewy texture which was amazing.

I've been vegan for 8 years and Green Burger has THE BEST vegan burgers I've had in Australia. I think about them, oh, probably every second day? If I didn't have a self-imposed rule of only eating out once a week I would probably be here daily. The chicken is so juicy??! How do they do it??? And everything is so saucy and cheesy and full of flavour. It's decadent. Makes up for all the times garden salad has been the only option for me at a restaurant. Thx for proving that vegan food can be an indulgent experience. ♥️

Green Burger has the BEST vegan burgers I've ever tried. I've been here on two separate occasions; the first I got the 'Dirty South' and hemp fries, and boy did they deliver! I loved it so much. The only thing that I would've changed was taking away the crispy tortilla, but other than that it was perfect. The hemp fries are on a whole other level, so good! And I love that you can grab your own sauce with no extra charge.<br/><br/>The other time I ate at Green Burger I tried the 'Colonel' and once again, their hemp fries. Again, incredible. Good mock chicken is hard to come by but this was delicious and satisfied my KFC craving.

A vegan burger joint, serving delicious burgers that tastes very similar to the non-vegan burgers. The buns are really soft, and I really enjoyed the burgers. <br/>I am grateful for the staff’s recommendations. The cheese and colonel burgers were delicious.

To be honest, we stumbled into Green Burger without knowing it was vegan, and by the (embarrassingly long) time we realised, we had fully committed to ordering. That being said, we were so pleasantly surprised by the authentic flavour of the Big Mock. The texture is very different to real meat - much softer and mushier overall - but the flavours are bang on. We also had the poutine fries which were delish!

Decent "cheese"burger but very small for the price. I left still hungry. Should have gotten the mac and cheese as well for $4.5 more. Ambiance is odd but entertaining and food came out pretty quickly.

I have heard such amazing things about green burger so I was so excited to visit and experience this delicious plant based feast! We ordered the colonel burgers, poutine, and chocolate thick shakes that were all incredible & super delicious. I highly recommend the chocolate thickshake as it is like something I’ve never tried before and chocolatey goodness! The poutine was great to share as the serving size was perfect for two. As someone who used to love chicken burgers the colonel was very similar to a chicken burger and made me second guess whether it was plantbased or not (in a good way). The staff were also insane, educated about the products, positive and really attentive. I highly recommend for anyone regardless of if you’re plantbased or not! It’s a great dinner spot located on smith street or lunch spot before the footy! Can’t wait to visit again soon!

The ‘quack dealer’ burger is the best burger I have ever eaten in my life. How a burger that good is made is beyond me. The mock duck couldn’t be more convincing and the flavours with it were incredible. <br/><br/>The consistency of the soft serve is grainy and could be smoother but it is so exciting to see dairy free soft serve available. <br/><br/>I will recommend this place to everyone :)

Visited Green Burger after seeing their mouth watering burgers pop up on my Instagram feed. The expectation was high and they did not disappoint. <br/><br/>I tried the cheese burger and the poutine. Wow! <br/>The generous topping of gravy and cheese over fries was nothing short of delicious. The burger tasted like a Maccas cheeseburger - only cruelty free! <br/><br/>I cannot wait to chip away at every item on the menu.<br/><br/>They have a large offering of burgers & sides.

This place was recommended to me by a vegan friend who claimed that Green Burger had "the best vegan burger". It's very conveniently located close to the city taking only around 15-20 minutes to get to by tram. After giving their burgers a try I must say that they do fake meat pretty well and what's even better are their fries! Additionally, their store has great art and decor to appreciate.

You are magicians! Anything made by the folk at Green Burger, I am more than willing to eat. The menu options are well thought out and a helluva lot of research and testing has gone into creating the offerings here. So glad Melbourne has Green Burger! <br/><br/><br/>

This place was a revelation. I don’t specifically agree with food being classified as bad or good but I know that many do and see burgers and icecream/soft serve as more of an indulgence than a regular meal.<br/><br/>But I have to say that although Owen was inspired by a famous fast food burger chain in the US, the burgers are not ‘fast food’ - at least not the the connotation that it usually comes along with it.<br/><br/>This new vegan burger place deserves a pat on the back for creating a menu with some saucy options! 👌🙌 Their patties are pea protein based and they definitely ‘Pull’ the best crispy rice crackling burger 👌 (Yes, do ask for the Pull!, filled with pulled char siu enoki mushrooms and the most amazing crispy rice crackling). I also had The Big Mock and seriously don’t think I have been so content with the quality and taste of a burger. This place has an ethos based that the food on your plate should reflect love for all inhabitants of this earth and that definitely shows on every bite that you dig into it. They also have special burgers occasionally and they sell out so fast everyday which definitely shows the quality and popularity of this place.<br/><br/>Their fries are not just your regular plan fries and they season them with hemp making them incredible and special! And fries with vegan nacho cheese, can this get any better?! Actually, yes! They have vegan mac and cheese and the most amazing shakes and coconut based soft serve that leaves everyone speechless and satisfied with so much amazing food.<br/><br/>They are currently working on their menu and their are constantly challenging themselves to new additions and saucy creations - you never know what the next surprise will be, but you definitely want to be the first ones to try it!<br/><br/>I cannot wait to visit them again and again because I know I will have the best experience 👌
