This tiny little store tucked around a quiet corner of a street doesnt seem too promising, but i can vouch 100% that the meals there are really delicious authentic asian dishes that are served in large quantities and packed with the perfect blend of flavours. My meal could have had more meat and veges, but the portion was perfect for a stomach running on nothing but coffee and redbulls after a long study session at uni. The store is very small and the line for the tables are quite long. The waitress was quite rude but the food did come in a good time frame to one another. Highly recommend for hungry uni students 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

Kampua noodle is just nice not too soft, not too oily. Really recommend everyone to try this.

Fish wings soup has improved compared to our first trip, It was plain and tasteless so we thought everything has a second chance so gave it another try and to our surprised it turn out so much better than last time. Well done. Keep it up guys!

I came here yesterday with my friends. It’s my first visit and I ordered mie ayam bakso. It was nice. The mie ayam was dried with no soup. Usually mie ayam bakso that i know had soup come with the noodle, so yeah it’s a bit different but still nice tho. I also had chicken bao. It’s also good.

Most authentic swak kolomee I've had in Perth to date!! Even the teh c is not just the 3in1 that some places serve. Wontons had really soft skin too. Food/soup is not too salty...just right! Drinks are just right too! I saw them made the teh c and she actually tried a little in a separate cup to make sure taste was right! Food served with love makes all the difference!! :)

I normally can’t be bother to write any good review. But this one I really have to give thumbs up as their kolo mee personally I think is the closest one to Authentic Sarawak Kolomee that you can find in Perth.
Food was served fast and fresh. Staffs were friendly. Place is a bit crowded but for the price you pay, you don’t pay for the environment. Please keep the good standard up! I will visit maybe every week.

Very good tasting Sarawak kolo mee (original). I also had the cold teh c special (good! Not overly sweet) and the mince pork bun (not bad but I had better elsewhere).

I like to go for Malaysian food for lunch, but after going to many Malaysian restaurants, I started to find they are all have similar food quality and price (possibly all using the same ingredient sources). However, this one stands out from the crowd and their noodles taste better because they are made by themselves. Worth a try on "Red' noodles.

For takeaway it’s great. Authentic and tasty Kolo Mee dishes. Staff are courteous and helpful, carefully packing the food for me. That’s my experience so can’t comment on the dining in experience.

A great noodle place. So glad I’m a local as I want to try everything they have. We had the wonton noodle soup, fried Kway teow, fried chicken wings and spring rolls. Very authentic, great flavours and well priced. These noodles are a hug in a bowl. I will be back and with friends. Thank you!

Great little noodle shop. We went there on a Saturday lunchtime and there was a short wait to get in (about 15 minutes), but it was worth it. All dishes well presented and tasty. I especially enjoyed the Singapore Chicken Fried Noodles.

We heard that this shop is operated by the former owner of kitchen inn Thornlie so we decided to try it out. We ordered a foochew fried noodles soup and mee hun kueh. Very authentic foochew fried noodles soup and love it. The Mee hun kueh is nice but the soup and the fishball that came with it were warm( I love my foods to be served hot especially when it come with soup). Will definitely come back and try the kampua next time.

Finally got to try this tucked away noodle shop, lines of people always out the door and it did not disappoint. They have so many different noodle dishes to choose from as well as pork buns, curries & stir-fries. My personal favourite - the Malaysian Mei Goreng. Fresh vege and noodles!

Small and cosy on the corner of Manning Road. Great representation of a Malaysian stall that makes amazing Kolo Mee and Kampua.

The aroma of the oils, meets and noodles fills the air as you walk in. A small diner that may be able to seat groups of 4 comfortably or book for larger bookings. Their menu of relatively cheap and not large portions. I think it’s exactly the right portion and not too filling. The mince pork and the sliced char siu was perfect. Reminds me of kolo mee in Miri, Kuching and Brunei.

Without a doubt, you have to try!

This has always been one of my favourite noodle places in Perth. But due to unforeseen circumstances haven’t been here for more then a year. Nothing has changed this place still makes really tasty and yummy hand made noodles. With prices starting from $7.50 it is damn friendly in the wallet as well. This place is definitely in contention for best value food in Perth!! Have tried plenty of their different offerings in the past and it does not disappoint. Definitely will make the effort to come back 🔜 as it has been way too long not to have eaten here..

Super delicious!!! High recommend the radish rice rolls and fish soup. Portions are huge as well. Only thing is they’re so popular the queue can get a little crazy and things can run out quickly, so highly recommend you visit at a quieter time or earlier in the day. Definitely food that I will crave, will be back for sure! :-)

Wise woman (my wife) say...if eating place got long queue, then it must be good. Well I must admit she is right (mostly)! Each time we came here it was bustling even though we came after what we thought was people's lunch hour. I think here people eat all the time! Anyway, despite the queue the food was delightful and my wife loves their big pao - I only got to try a quarter of the big pao which she cut out for me at home. Despite the crowd the auntie at the shop will try her best to get a table for you, which I am thankful for. We live NOR but whenever the opportunity presents itself we will make our way here.

3.5 stars. Good value for quick meal or noodles lovers. Environment: small shop with minimal decor. Very causal setting- a sense of hawker's stall in Malaysia. Just a few tables indoor and outdoor. Rather packed. Have to share long table with others. Came before 12noon weekday, still could find a table. Always a lot of people lining up. There is a self service corner next to the entrance without any obvious notice or sign. Clean place with toilet. Park at street or opposite carpark (free). Came again late Saturday afternoon, was seated. The owner was nice --- 6.5/10 Service: Grab the menu at front desk and find a table first, the order and pay (tell which table) at front desk. Super busy, but food served very fast unexpectedly. As busy, Staff are task-oriented, not so attentive, but in good manner. Two kinds Malaysian style spicy seaoning are available on each table or self service corner. Get utensils/ cutlery, water and Chili (+/- tissues) at self service corner. --- 6.8/10 Food: normal presentation. Good price. Good portion. Good quality of homemade noodles. Rice is also available. Would like to come again to try other dishes. - Pan Mian, Dry, $9.5/regular: the freshly hand cut homemade flat rice noodles were slightly sticky, became ok after stir up with fillings immediately. BBQ Pork slices were good in texture. There is Minced Pork with dried anchovies, vegetables and chili flakes. Full of flavors --- 7.7/10 - Barramundi Fish Wings Vermicelli Soup, $14.5: Chinese name on menu is not Fish wings? Options for Clear or Milky Soup. There were 4 big fish Wing- good quantity and quality. Milky soup contains tomatoes and preserved vegetables, so a bit sour. Not fishy. Vermicelli was cooked well. --- 7.4/10 - Fried Radish Cake Roll炒豬腸粉, $8: not sure radish in it. Likely rice rolls. Stir- fried wita a lot of egg. Not bad. --- 7/10 - Sarawak Laksa, $14.5: regular portion. There were 3 small prawns, very finely shredded chicken breast, shredded egg, bean sprouts and vermicelli. Served with chili sauce. Prawns were over-cooked. The broth was good. --- 7.2/10 - Yang Chow Fried Rice, $13.5: Small portion, not good value. Finely chopped BBQ pork, carrots, shrimps and beans. Malaysian style. Well-fried. The runny fried egg was a cold. --- 6.8/10 - Teh C Special, $4/Hot - Milo, $3.5/Hot: not blend. - Malaysian Milk Coffee, $4.5/Cold

We came in famished and everything was delicious! The portions were pretty big as well and my 5 yo couldn't finish his own pineapple fried rice which was expected. Definitely will come back again to try out its other noodle dishes!!! Came back 1 week later to try their crispy chicken kolo Mee, big minced meat bao, pig Trotter pan Mian and Malaysian milk coffee. Didn't disappoint at all especially the sauce for the crispy chicken dip, it's so yummy that I poured some on the noodles and it was tastier! (Before it was a bit dry cause not enough sauce)

We are glad that have arrived before 12 noon and get the table within 5 min. It's getting more crowded after 12. Love the noodle and the creamy soup. Reasonable price.

A bowl of oily goodness. Sarawak-style noodles. Pretty tasty and definitely enjoy the Malaysian mee goreng, that charred smell is hard to resist!
