we have seen this place many times now and have always wanted to go(for years) and we finally went
Let me start by saying that from the moment we walked in the staff were all friendly and we sat ourselves down and had a look at the menu
The menu and the prices are super reasonable.
We ordered within ten minutes and went with

Salt and pepper squid 🦑
Moroccan lamb ribs
Rocky road cake 🍰
The potato wedges were delicious and the serving was generous. Such a crispy and delicious delight and it was served with sour cream and sweet chilli sauce (9/10)
Moroccan lamb ribs: WHERE DO I START?!?!? this was absolutely delicious and the flavour profile was just absolutely divine 😍 eating this was an absolute pleasure and I would highly recommend this. The ribs were a little chewy and fatty but besides that PERFECT (9/10)
Salt and Pepper Squid: This was pretty good as well and the only thing I would say it i would have loved to it to be crispy on the outside as it was a little soggy. I would rate this 6/10)
Rocky Road Cake: I am going to keep this short and sweet. This was delicious. Would highly recommend and will definitely be coming back to try more of the desserts.

Pretty good kinda forgot one of our meals but got it out asap after mentioning, good selection of beers etc get what you pay for.
Good location slightly older looking in comparison to other Perth venues.
Great food. Great prices. Great atmosphere. Great wine list. Great service. Would recommend a visit with friends for dinner and drinks on a Friday evening. Not over priced and pretentious like other pubs in the area.
We celebrated a family birthday here on the weekend. The food platters were great - chicken skewers, cold meat salad wraps, hot chips, pizza pastries there were a couple more but I can't remember. A few big TVs inside to watch the footy. Staff were nice to deal with, we told them there would be little kids attending and they put out some colouring in books to keep them entertained. Great place to have a party.
I enjoyed my lunch here on a Saturday. The food area is spacious and clean. Service, quick and friendly. My pizza was yum. Of the 6 of us, 4 enjoyed their meals, 2 commented they were okay (the risotto bland and thai beef salad also boring)
Busy pub with a good sized indoor and outdoor area. Easy, central location. Staff are polite. Good above-average pub fare, with plenty of menu options. Venue is clean and has a good atmosphere.
Had my daughters birthday lunch at the como on sunday. Food was nice and the American Diner menu had some nice options. I had the 60s burger and was yum, pattie was slightly over cooked, but the bacon and sauce were great.
Kids chicken burger was great especially ss it had a real chicken breast, not processed meat.
Service was friendly, however despite a 20% full restaurant we still had to go searching for service a few times.
We will be back.
Awesome pub in South Perth full of colours and good vibes. Lovely beer garden at the back with loads of sitting and cheap beers with quality food. Definetly recommend! :)
Posting on behalf of colleagues and I who had a get together here last week. Steak nights so there were steaks all round and we all agreed they were great value and delicious. The serving sizes were excellent. A few folk had something different and the reports for the Caesar salad and stuffed capsicum were good too. The soft drinks are a bit overpriced in my opinion but that's where the money is when everyone is ordering the specials.
We come here as work colleagues every so often either for a drink or for dinner. All our experiences with staff and food have been good. Today we went for a quick celebratory drink over some chili chips. We picked a nice Spanish Tempranillo which was a pleasant red, and the chips came out crisp with tomato sauce and an aioli. All of us went home happy, and we will come back.
Foods are just standard. Service is friendly. Kids friendly as well that's why i still want to go back there. Quite nice place to hangout with friends even though it's bit pricey.
Was a bit sceptical about this place because of the reviews and it's been years since I visited. But from the moment we walked in without reservations the service was friendly and we were immediately seated (though it wasn't packed, unlike the old days here!) and served. I talked my partner into the graziers plate so I could steal some of his, and I had the twice cooked pork with rice and Asian glaze. The serves were huge and both were delicious. Of course I tasted all the graziers plate and the pie was especially yummy. My pork was also delicious. After such huge meals we couldn't fit dessert in! Would definitely return.

Not superb but OK enough food (chips were good enough, salmon was good but recommend you ask them to undercook it, pumpkin pizza was OK) but surely value for money with the free kids or free mums on Tuesdays ...
Pity about the poor rating but we generally have a good meal at the Como.. Love the burgers, steak sandwiches, setting and service.

I would like to say I went in for a couple of beers on Friday night and ordered a beef burger and it was very good indeed I was killing some time to pick up my daughters and the burger was one of the best I've had in years for a woolworths run pub very good
Went here with International guests from Brazil, China, Ireland, Iran last week and everyone enjoyed the food and drinks! Very nice and wonderful attention from the staff!
Living down the road, it's always an easy option. The staff turnover seems quite high, but I think you'd expect that at a pub. All of my experiences have been good except for one time I ordered a steak med rare and it came out well done. For all the times I've been, that was forgiven and they quickly rectified the problem. The mains are of a good size and their chips are great. Recommended.
Great staff. Food was good. Staff were great. A bit worried after reading reviews. Nothing to worry about. Was pretty busy so expected a wait. Duck was amazing, pumpkin risotto was beautiful and blue cheese sauce on the fillet was different but good. Going back

Been here a few times, this visit was a little average. Had the tasting plate to start which was very nice. I had the rump (med) and my wife had the stuffed chicken breast & cous cous. Steak was a little on rare side and chips were soggy as had been sitting in the jus. Chicken breast was nice, little dry and overpowered by amount of cous cous. Didn't bother with dessert. Still go back there again.
Best burger I've had in a long time. I will Definately recommend this place to my 2 friends
Lovely Lunch. Just had a really nice lamb roast lunch. The food here is always good and its a lovely place to eat on a nice sunny afternoon.
Family Lunch. We have been before mostly for coffee and cake in the great little outdoor area but this time went for a family lunch. Service was excellent given it was 12.30 and fairly busy. My "surf and turf" was cooked to perfection and the rest of the crew all made agreeable mutterings about the value & quality
I will recommend the Como to my vintage car club who are a bit choosy but the Art Deco style will win them over.
I love this place and would definitely call myself a regular. The food is great and the staff/service is even better. There is always a good atmosphere whether you are going for dinner or just to have a drink with friends. The bar manager Chris is awesome and always makes my visits to the Como more special :)
A little hit and miss but overall good.. Came here tonight with two friends and had an awesome night. The staff were friendly, although one women at the cashier was a bit surly. I did not drink but the first waiter was enthusiastic ( a bit too lively), but he recommended what my friends could drink (I abstained tonight), and was helpful with selections. I ordered a hot latte, it came hot but was bitter, so a little disappointed there, but still drinkable. The second one was FAR better.
Another waiter also came and randomly started talking to us about our psych degrees and general uni stuff, so it was quite nice of him to be friendly and inquire etc.
I ordered the greek salad, it was only a side serving but it was mediocre, but still tasty.
My friends ordered the 15$ steak meal, the chipslooked so delicious on there and the steaks looked fantastic.
And for $15 you can't complain.
Laid back. I have only ever been here during the day and I must say I enjoyed the laid back atmosphere. The food was pretty good and we were happy with the drink selection. Prices not too bad.
Love it!. Great food, served quickly. Not fancy, but cooked well, very tasty and brought to our table with a smile. Nice family atmosphere especially earlier in the evening, even on a saturday night.
Great Pub Food. My husband and I went to The Como for dinner tonight with our two children. We were reluctant to go as every pub meal we've had lately has been piled high with chips and not much else. My kids both got fish and chips which was a perfect sized portion for a child-it was served with a nice salad too. My husband had the chicken parmagama and I had the Wagyu beef buger. Both meals were really, really good. Service was very friendly and inviting. We will definately be back.
Good Wokkin At Lunch!. Sundahy lunch a table of 10. Must commend the staff, good and prompt service. I had the Stir Fried Beef with noodles - very filling - can come with chilli, but as beef is marinated, you won't need it _ ordered it without, and enjoyed it more than those who had it with. Desert and coffee deal for $6.00 (Coffee was pretty good too) and a drink all for $38.00! - Beerdrinkers, make sure you stipulate you want a stubbie other wie you will get a pint by default. Very good meal all up.
I really like the Como Hotel. It has a nice Atmosphere, friendly staff and a casual relaxed ambience . We go there regular for a meal and so far they have all been delicious ! Would recommend
Never disappoints. I have been going to the Como Hotel ever since we moved to the area about 2 years ago and I have never had a bad meal or bad service. The food is exceptional and the menu changes each season I think it is. But if you are looking for a good night out that isn't too expensive with great atmosphere then this is it. Highly recommend.
Solid Pub Meal. Went down to the Como for the first time, I was suprised how nice it was out the back! Ordered the Wagyu Burger with all the extras, the only issue I had with it was it was too much to eat without going everywhere...and If thats the only problem our table of 8 had then they definately have done well.
Perfect place for a pub meal if you live in the como/south perth area.

We've been going to the Como for years and unfortunately it's hit and miss for the food and service which is good or bad proportionate with how busy they are. When they're good the food is well prepared, tasty and pretty good for pub grub and the service is attentive and quick. But when they're busy it's like you've stumbled into somewhere completely the opposite, we've had to flag down staff after 30 mins of inattention after arriving, we order known favorites that on a quiet night are delicious only to have them arrive only reasonably palatable. My advice, go on a quiet weeknight (not Friday) to see the best of the Como.
We ordered the special Crab & Barramundi. Food and sauces were awesome. I don't like asparagus but the way these spears were cooked was fantastic. We also had the Pork loin special with apple sultanas and a array of other fruits that comes cooked with the dish, great place to eat... great food... Just one thing let the place down. We said to two different wait staff that we wanted to order desserts... I was really looking forward to tucking into the Banana Caramel Log thing..... we even hung around about an hour after we had eaten.... We had the table closest to the register so we were right under their noses.... after an hour we decided to go home... the food we ordered was great, the service we initially got was great, it was the let down with asking twice for desserts and no one coming to take our order that let the dining experience down. Other than that... get in and there and have some good food. They are in the Entertainment Book as well.
Friendly, efficient, attentive and knowledgable staff. Music at the right level. Lovely eating outdoors on a sunny afternoon. Food well priced and very generous portions. Steak is always cooked well done even if requesting medium. Glasses of softdrink full of ice from top to bottom. All in all a nice place for a relaxing afternoon!
Good specials. I had the $15 parmi, salad and chips which was tasty and a bargain.
Casual hangout. The Como is still great, the food is well priced to compliment the drinks. They offer week nights specials which are great for the family!
Steak night on a Wednesday is when we usually go. $12.90 steaks and lots of specials which I usually like. Desserts are very nice to. Only problem is it's overpriced. Eg 11.50 for a dessert
The Como Hotel won B and I over in regards to great food and a lovely beer garden atmosphere. We had no complaints and we’ll definitely be back again for another lazy Sunday lunch. On Sunday afternoons in the beer garden they offer live music and lunch specials. B and I definitely recommend going to The Como Hotel for reasonably priced food and drinks, in a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere.
Excellent. We all loved it. Great refurbishment of the Good old Como Hotel. We had pres in the bar area then moved to restaurant. Make sure you book. The lamb chops were divine and very surprised to get 4, great serving size. Very pleasant afternoon. Recommend.

I ordered the Thai Seafood Yellow Curry, it was amazing and the presentation was 5 stars. My friend had the Fish and Chips and it was fantastic. The size is spot on and the prices are very reasonable.
I will absolutely be going back with out a doubt. If 10 stars was an option.... That's what I would have rated them.
Had Sunday lunch here. Was quite busy but service and food was good. Plenty of room inside the restaurant.
Had great atmosphere, that summer vibe and feeling still. Only 4 stars, because I prefer an option of side of mash and veggies.
Service are awesome, foods are tasty and fresh.

Very good Pub food. All dishes were of high quality. Great decor with lots of different spaces indoors and outdoors. Service was a bit slow maybe due to staff shortages at the moment.
Great venue,, lovely outside garden setting with shade. Food is delicious and very well priced. Staff where friendly and attentive. Overall had a really good relaxing afternoon, will definitely be back again.
