Review Coogee Pavilion - Coogee

Large venue along the coast. It's popular in the afternoons and evenings, so book ahead for the restaurant or you can usually find a spot in the bar area. There are some interesting things on the menu, like leatherjacket, which I had. The food was tasty, but not amazing. It's a simple ordering process using your phone.

Big and busy dinning area on the ground floor hut food comes out really quick. Love the chips and eggplant fries and desserts here. The burrata is okay. Will def come back to try more and go upstairs. Follow @karliepap on TikTok to find out more!

Poor customer service. The staff aren’t well trained and professional. They picked up soviets from the ground and put back on the table. When asked about the menu’s items didn’t know what it is. Asked another staff when served the oysters whether they were Australian but he said he is new here and don’t know about it. Barramundi and eggplant were good

Massive spacious space, amazing fit outs and decor. One part is a bar and other side is a full table service restaurant. Amazing area for kids including a tv room with Peppa pig! Very kid friendly. But you have to book or be lucky to score a a free table. Also, be aware when ordering kids food - specify if you want individual kids menu items or the kid set menu (comes with juice and gelato) which costs $21 and personally, it does not seem like a bargain since kids meal is $13, ice cream was special kids size. Everything else was very tasty. Service was also friendly and attentive.

A great place to hang out in the afternoon as it overlook the beach. The drinks are one of the best. The food are not mind blowinf but solid.

Really beautiful outlook and quality of food and selection of drinks was great. The vibe of the place was very uplifting, will definitely make it a regular.

A very good experience! We were a party of 4 (plus a dog) and managed to get a table outside, with the water view. The starters were all excellent: polenta, grilled octopus and especially the cuttlefish - my personal favorite. We were at first a bit underwhelmed by the menu for the main dish but ended up with a nice selection of fish and seafood, with the chef’s special ratatouille. And the dessert really elevated the meal, thanks to the service: our waitress Elena (Helena?) described the Swiss roll (with fresh mint and mango) as a « flight to paradise »… and she was spot on, it was a perfect way to end the meal. Long story short: superb location, lovely service and food food, a perfect place for a nice weekend lunch with friends!

Great location right on Coogee beach. The food quality is good but a bit pricey. The menu hasn’t changed for a while but they have a good variety of fish, meat, pizza, salads and a nice kids menu including chicken schnitzel, fish n chips etc.
