Easy to find cafe. The waitstaff were welcoming and friendly which was great and the service was fast as well. It wasn’t as busy so we only waited about 10 minutes for our food. I ordered the Tropicana Hash Stack and my friend ordered the Muesli, they both looked delightful and the portions were generous. Would recommend going for brunch.
Great breakfast spot, close to Coogee beach. Also not to be overlooked for dinner.
Decent sized kids menu and plenty of choice for adults too. Food is always tasty and well presented. Staff are friendly. The cakes are amazing!
They also do a fair few evening specials (Monday night is $20 all you can eat pizza).
Coffee is not great but on par with the rest of Coogee.
Very quiet and a very good attention from the people in charge. I chose the risotto with mushrooms, was delicious but maybe was for 2 people because was huge!
After a big heavy lunch on a hot day I needed something light and refreshing on the go. I got this mixed berry frappe based on frozen berries and orange juice. It was super sweet but hit the spot real good.
This is truly one of Coogees best cafes, if for brekkie or lunch everything on the menu looks savage. The seafood salad is the best one I've ever had. Deliciousness at its best!!! 🙌🏻

Tropicana cafe in Coogee is a large cafe on Coogee Bay Road. It is old and whilst the atmosphere is good, could benefit from a revamp. Feels a bit dark in side. That said; this place is pretty popular and it has great food options. The menu is significant and boasts large breakfast options, salads, pastas and burgers and larger meals. They are open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and also serve alcohol. They also do takeaway coffees and fill up your keep cup and also have huge amazing looking cakes that you can buy a slice of. I was there for breakfast and got a huge fruit salad (rockmelon, pear, watermelon, passionfruit, grapes and strawberries). It was accompanied by fresh yoghurt and raspberry coulis. This was really nice and so big, I took some home. They were kind enough to put it in a takeaway box. I also got a chai latte which I really liked and it had latte art :)
Had dinner here - the crispy seafood salad. Generous portions, really delicious. Wine was good quality too. Kids spag Bolognese also good size. Really happy with this restaurant - there was something for everyone.
Just been here for dessert. Service is excellent. Super friendly and attentive staff. I ordered mocha cheesecake and my friend got toasted banana bread. Both were delicious and excellently presented. Will be back for sure!
Great little cafe. Good breakfast choices, tasty juices and of course coffee. Always a fun and happy crowd. A little pricey but the food is fresh and delicious. Waitresses are polite and courteous and there must be something good in the water at the cafe cause all the waitresses are gorgeous

The chips are to die for!. As a very hungry family, we were seated and served very quickly. Food came out quickly too. Really great salads using super fresh ingredients. Calamari was really light. Tuna steak warp was fresh although could have done with more seasoning. And the burger was good, albeit it on a weird bun that tasted like McDonald's buns. The chips were a standout! Great service!
SUPERB PLACE. My first time there made quite a good impression. Waiters were super friendly and the place looks great. Food was really really good and fast as well.

Been here once for a late lunch on a weekend. Huge haloumi salad packed with great ingredients. Great price. Will definitely be back. Delicious coffee.

All day breakfast was a win straight up and the menu was great. The New Yorker coffee was amazing. Shot of coffee and milk over ice! The porridge with caramelised bananas and brown sugar was huge and the side of yoghurt went down nicely. Eggs were also looking good. Staff here are really nice and sitting outside soaking up the atmosphere was great! No complaints at all
Come here in a Sunday around lunch. Was insanely busy but the staff handelrs it wonderfully. Prompt service and great food.
Friendly relaxed atmosphere with great food for anytime of day. Excellent service would highly recommend a visit here. The salmon on the specials was outstanding.
Some of the flavours were a little different but the service was outstanding and food reasonably priced. Haloumi salad entree was a hit. But really no need to add pesto to everything.
Hearty & rustic food. Expect home-style food and generous servings at this bustling Coogee local. Service is prompt and pretty friendly, though I still can't get my head around some wait-staff taking a seat at your table to take your order.
Delicious Pea & Ham soup and quite nice Roasted pumpkin, spinach Orichiette with goats cheese & pinenuts. The pumpkin would have been nicer had it actually been roasted as opposed to boiled.
