Review Coogee Bite Cafe - Coogee

We chanced upon this place and they provided fast service with free flow tap water in decent blue plastic cups. The price is reasonable and the food quality is good. The eggs were a little on the salty side but it's good. Attached the menu if you are interested! It is breakfast all day with lunch menu.

In a good location with nice views, facing the side of the beach. They seemed to have just two people looking after about 10 tables that were full. Hence the service level wasnt great. After seating down for 15mins we had to ask for service so that we could order food. The coffee arrived late after we nearly finished with our breakfast. The food was acceptable but the coffee wasn't, quite weak and bland.

this unassuming Cafe at the northern end of coogee Beach is a real winner! been coming here from the inner west for the past couple of years, as it's the perfect venue for breakfast doing the Bronte to coogee walk. with an outside view of the beach, the food is simple, delicious and no fuss. excellent coffee and fresh juice combo's, it leaves most of the trendier places for dead! had lunch here for the first time and the prawn salad was delicious too! give it a try, you won't regret it!😀

Great menu and very popular. We'll go back. Disables parking opposite x3

The food is average and customer service is average too. Nothing amazing. They do use plastic straws though and it would be amazing if they compost their food scraps/waste

This is my favourite place for breakfast! They have all the breakfast staples- eggs benny, eggs on toast etc, and they serve breakfast items all day. Everything I’ve tried on their menu is delicious- nicely done eggs and bacon, tasty Turkish bread, fresh and crispy hashbrowns. They also do freshly squeezed juices which I love. They’re located perfectly and are a bit easier on the pocket than many surrounding cafes at the beach. The owner- Tony is such a delight to talk to. Keep it up ☺️☺️

Good food and coffee but service is slow sometimes

Service is prompt. Coffee is gr8!
Banana smoothie needed more banana which they did add more when requested , thank you for that.
Corn Fritters is like a pancake with scattered corn nibbles, a single asparagus halved lengthwise and halved again. Tomato relish deems like a table spoon serve.
Breakfast not value for money.

Not worth the price! Staff was friendly and menu had lots of options but food takes long to arrive and when it arrived I was so disappointed. The big breakfast is suppose to be big but it was so small for $17.50. It said on the menu 'leafy greens' which came as two wilted pieces of lettuce. Coffee and milkshake was good though.

This is one of my favourite little hidden gems in Coogee, even though it is right on the beach I still enjoy that it is a little bit hidden from the rest. The breakfast is to die for and the staff are super sweet !

Great views and mediocre food... but the service is SO BAD
When we were there, the staff were disinterested, abrupt and unapologetic.
Definitely won't be going back any time soon.

Great location overlooking the beach. The staff were really lovely and the service was fast. The vegetarian omelette (with extra spice) was delicious. Not badly priced for the location. A basic but reliable dining option in Coogee.

The café is virtually empty when we arrive, but quickly fills up. It’s a small small space and it quickly becomes so loud I can hardly hear Miss Cat talking to me and the wait staff can’t really hear us either. It’s certainly not a relaxing brunch despite

Went for brekky this morning.. Had to flag down a waitress to order who put her hand up and told us, wait a minute.
I was told the same when ordering and asking for sides.
Meals took ages to come out and were tiny!! My partner ordered corn fritters of which there were two small fritters 1 egg and 1 tiny piece of bacon. My omelette was fine for a female.
No friendly service and no atmosphere. Wait staff were clearly being worked to the bone but the communication barrier and the fact they were too busy to care did the cafe zero favours and as Iocals unfortunately we won't b back.

3 days in Coogee and this was by far the best coffee.
Honest
Terrible service - lazy, slow staff who clearly don't care

Shocking service. As I sit outside right now, my drink never arrived. When asked for it to be taken off the bill, the staff charged outside to check the table to make sure we weren't lying. Then didn't even apologise for the totally crap service. Shocking.

Gorgeous location, but the food's overpriced and underwhelming. We shared a supposedly "gourmet" lean beef burger, and found it dry and rather bland. Shame, because with its fab location and view, this place could be so much more special...
