OG Chicken Burrito + Lemon Lime Bitters combination is tops! Thanks Ben & the team for excellent food, service, and atmosphere.
Best fish Burrito ever I had in my life
Such a great restaurant to visit just a short walk from Coogee beach.
Food is tasty with lots of Mexican options to choose from, great drinks (I recommend the frozen watermelon margarita) and a reasonable amount of seating both inside and out.
Fair number of vegetarian options 👌the vege fries and home made sangria definitely made my day!

Best burritos in town. Rad vibe. Friendly staff. Good place to dine in with family. Fantastic deals through the week. Love the mini ramp and best for the learners.
Went here for $3 taco Tuesdays, expecting it to be crazy with rushed service and food. I was pleasantly surprised! Service was still good and the food came out promptly. Tacos went down well with a beer. They were delicious and well balanced. The ambiance was good and I was able to catch up with a friend quite comfortably. I will definitely be coming here again! Highly recommended.
The staff were so friendly and accommodating. When I asked for vegan tacos they made some for me with beans, guac, and salsa, and they were the best tacos I've ever had!!! Definitely going back.
I had a roasted vegetable and tofu burrito and loved it! It was the first vegan meal I had in a restaurant here in Sydney and it was really good! I ordered without sour cream and they were very friendly all the time.
Pleasantly surprised, a really solid American-Mexican offering that makes other Burrito joints in Australia look poor. Doesn't pretend to be authentic and does a great job doing its own thing. Strongly recommend getting chips or onion rings in your Burrito.
A couple of friends took me here after a swim at the beach on sunday. It had a great vibe and the prices were great! The food was amazing, and reasonably priced..i got the burrito bowl, which was a little more expensive than i would have expected but it tasted so good that it was worth it. Plus the sangria was great to wash the food down with.
Would definitely recommend to friends to go, in either a group or even for a birthday dinner!!
I went here with a friend post my Bondi-Coogee coastal walk and ordered a burrito bowl, burrito and 2 tacos. I don't think I have ever had to wait THIS LONG for food EVER before. Was it busy? Yes of course it was. But the wait itself isn't worthwhile. If you are really hungry, I wouldn't recommend this place coz they take too long. The tacos were really good though!
Came here after a swim at the beach. On Sundays they have $20 1L sangria jugs! Tried the prawn grande taco $10 and the haloumi taco $5 and liked both of them. The taco wrap had the rough wholemeal feel in texture and was very soft. The fillings also fresh, nothing soggy. Quick service of food
Opened in late 2006 at the original location of Bondi, Beach Burrito has since been a favourite by many beach goers who are looking for a quick Californian style Mexican fix or for those who have 'a keen thirst for frozen margaritas'. Queenie and I drove today so we weren't able to have a very alluring margarita but Ollie, being the well-mannered soul that he is, declined having a drink so Q and I wouldn't feel left out. Aaaand it was like 12 in the afternoon... when's happy hour again?
Great Value!. My new favourite! flying pig burrito bowl is delicious and super filling. Also the weekday specials are epic and the staff are super friendly and helpful. A must visit in Coogee.
Awesome service, great vibe and yummy food!. Good sizes for what you pay. I really like the red wine sangria and the staff are always so friendly. As a vego I can eat so many things on the menu, and it's always delicious :) most recently came with a large group and they were still really quick with the food
Just went to Beach Burrito for the first time and was going to write how wonderful the service was - saw the previous review and could not disagree more. I ordered and was missing one of the dishes and realised two customers in the table near had been given it instead. They made quite the scene but the nice gentleman working was still very apologetic and I got burrito delivered to me asap. Highly recommend going here.
Pork Burrito was the ducks nuts. Great Chew.
Grilled Fish Burrito. Delicious
I absolutely love this place. Best Mexican food in Sydney! Thank you for your little establishment.
Great tex-mex food. The fish tacos were the best choice for me. Good deal each week day too. Thursday was 2 tacos & sangria or beer. Would come back again to try other menu items.
Tasty and filling!. OK people on here need to catch a grip. If you go to any of the beach side bars or food establishments on a busy weekend of course you will have to wait.
This is a small place. I purposely went on a weekday and had a Chipotle Chicken Burrito. I found the staff to be pleasant and friendly.
$13.95 for a burrito. It was nice and tasty and a decent size. I thought it was a little pricey considering Mad Mex is about $11 for a burrito however this was a hell of a lot taster than a Mad Mex.
All in all one of the nicer burritos I have had in Sydney. A little pricey compared to others but the friendly service and taste makes it worth while.
Please don't land in on a Saturday and expect 5 star service from a small hole in the wall burrito place when half of Sydney descends on a beach. Be fair to the staff and food and imagine yourself in a similar position! I will be back just not at a weekend :)
Once you get past the hipsters you'll find great food for good value.
Nice atmosphere but it does try a little too hard. Pretty good Mexican but grossly overpriced for its quality.
LOVED IT!. We had a group of people visit for dinner and ordered a large selection of what was offered on the menu and no one was disappointed. Considering that the group compromised of 8 americans (north and south), surely that tells you something, I ordered the prawn quesadillas - absolutely loved it.
Staffers were friendly, kitchen was efficient, ambience was really chilled. Beers were offered in good value buckets and music was not too loud or soft either.
Great place for casual dinners or for catching up with friends.
Having a meal there would make you feel like you've been transported to San Diego.
The only minor gripe I had was the spelling of jalapeños, enchiladas and quesadillas- they all came with a 's on the menu. But that's the only thing I can think of.
Nice staff and feel to this place. Casual Mexican dining. Burritos are damn good and chocka block of goodness. Nom nom highly recommend!
