They have some unique burgers. Definitely the best fries hands down. Can go there just for them. Try their chicken combinations. I also tried their fish burger which is great. Value for money place. Definitely the best schnitzel but word of warning portion size is big :). So if you think the price is higher than usual they cover it with portion sizes. I ended up packing half of it as had a starter as well. Try the zucchini flower. Really good. They fill it with cheese and the combination goes nice with their sauce. I tried their ribs and apple strudel as well which are just ok. The service in this place is always 5 stars. A regular place for us.

I have been waiting patiently for this restaurant to open in Coogee. I had dinner here last night with my family and we all loved it. The staff were super friendly and helpful; the atmosphere and decor was fantastic; the food was delicious; and the beer was excellent. The food portions were really big so I would recommend to go as a group. The crackling pork and trotter was average as the skin was a bit stale. The others were great. The price was on the pricier side but the amount of food made up for it.

Ordered the platter for three, the portions were very generous, with a good selection of the usual favourites. I wished the pork crackling could be crispier - it was a little hard and chewy. Otherwise a decent Bavarian restaurant with a nice selection of drinks.

We went for dinner on Wednesday night. The staff is super friendly and caring. The vibes in the place are high. The food is full of taste and the portions are so big that you better come hungry. I ate the ‘all you can eat’ ribs and I was very very happy with the generosity. And excellent beer did I say already? And for desert, homemade apple strudel. A perfect ending for the night. We will definitely come back soon.

Went here for the $25 all you can eat Schnitzel. Firstly I asked if the gravy sauce was any extra cost, they said no. I then tried some other sauces on the next Schnitzel(s), and they never told me some sauces cost and some don't. It was not written anywhere, and I could not find the terms and conditions of the offer on the website or in store. You would have thought they would tell the customer, especially when I inquired about extra cost of sauce on first serving. Got a bit of a rude shock of $40 bill, expecting it to be $29. ($25 + $4 drink). Was good Schnitzels though :)

I was taken to lunch at the Das Bierhaus Coogee by my 2 sons today. We were the first customers for lunch, so had the waiter's undivided attention for a little while, then more customers arrived. The place had a good ambience, generous portions of food and good drinks menu selection, and an attentive & friendly waiter. I had the tastefully balanced salmon & salad and could not fault it nor finish it. My sons had roast pork belly & vegs & crackling dumplings and chicken schnitzel burger. Will go back & try the other dishes.

I had such a great time here with my German friend that I didn't even remember to take a photo. We ordered the beef ribs and they were freaking amazing. The portion was so generous that I had to take some home. The manager Alvin, also German, was always checking on us and took the time to share some traditional facts from the German cuisine. Really recommended!
