Review Beer Garden - Coogee

Sharon
Good vibes and nice atmosphere. Spacious outdoor area with plenty of seating available and they have outdoor heating in the outdoor umbrellas to keep you warm. When I went on a Friday night, they had the footy playing which I enjoyed. I also had a drink and the pepperoni pizza which was delicious too. There is a convenient bus from central station that is a short walk from coogee bay hotel. I would recommend coming here with friends for a good time!

The menu is very disappointing. Only a few options and not many of them are somewhat healthy. The salad that came with the battered fish or the schnitzel etc was just some dry rocket leaves. The outdoor beer garden is great, lots of shade. It was lunchtime with quite a few patrons and only one person behind the bar whereas the inside bar with less people, had 2. All in all, not rushing back there.

After 35 years of being a patron of this pub i will never step foot in it ever again.I arrived at the pub round lunchtime today with my 15 yr old grandson, to be first sent to the wrong entrance , then when i arrived back where i started from,i was rudely spoken to, and told i was not allowed into the restaurant, and to go to the Beer garden if i wanted something to eat.So i went to the beer garden, they asked for my grandsons id, he did not bring it, mind you ,a disabled grandson, so we were turned away, again. They keep this type of behavior up, they lose ,more customers and more and more and it will serve them right

Great place for a family catch up. Good variety of pub food . Restaurant next to garden bar too expensive for my family $27 for 3 coffees couldn't afford lunch there especially 10%add on more than 8 people. No wonder it was empty. Garden bar great xx

Really average experience with the outside bar on a Sat. Bartender decided he wanted to talk to someone else halfway through serving us. Bit of a boys club feel. Service was average but the food was ok. Sub optimal experience.

The atmosphere is always good in the beer garden. It was cold out but the outdoor heaters were perfect. Live music as well!

went there for a few beers Sunday afternoon, good atmosphere , would like a few boutique beers on tap as range pretty standard. 2 piece band playing , the bad , the food , limited range , and paying $24 for a very average burger ( one piece of lettuce , one piece tomato, one piece of cheese and a beef pattie , could be so much better , and some ordinary fries. should have gone to Mcdonalds , for half the price

Totally overpriced. Pathetic limited menu. No one else in the beer garden indoor restaurant but they would not put the league on the TV for us. $11 for a schooner $9,50 during happy hour. Not the same place that I frequented 20 or so years ago. An overpriced dive. I will never go there again. I am glad I have fond memories from years ago
