Amazing experience in this place (incredible burger and milkshakes), we were not disappointed by the $45 menu. The waiter was very accommodating for our order and very nice.

Delicious burgers, great shakes, and a solid sides - their loaded fries and mac and cheese croquettes are great! If you're looking for a good place to have a cheat meal at, go here and order their cheat platter with the Big Poppa burger. How can you say no to such a beast of a burger?!

Very loud music, average food and a bit pricier than expected. I think it's a bit over hyped, the burgers were both a bit dry. I got the brisket burger and it was very sweet, I could only taste onion and lost the flavor of the beef. Popcorn chicken is bad thigh cuts, the salt on them was good which made up for the gravy having no flavor. The sweet potato fries were definitely worth getting, if they weren't burnt.

4.5 Rating. Food was great, DJ last night was fresh and exciting created a awesome vibe for my friends bday. Only let down was table service was a little slow (about 15 minutes) to get an order; otherwise chip Churros loaded was delicious and the Chic-kayne burger was delicious. The Maxibon ice cream was also good yet the coffee flavoured ice cream inside was too rich personally among a few of us. Can do with a bit more refining. Otherwise awesome place!!

Very modern gourmet Burgers, Perfect place to go with friends.!Don’t ask to change the burgers is on the menu so not for the picky person. And if you don’t like sauce this is probably not for you! The famous art work wall indoors is very iconic, Perfect place for photos! Very nice owner and staff here and the best part of all, it’s dog friendly. We love Milky Lane

Came to Bondi just for Milky Lane and had it two nights in a row - certainly did not disappoint. The food is INCREDIBLE, the staff is lovely and the venue has a super cool vibe. Everything was so so delicious, the Kevin Bacon burger was the best burger we ever had - so juicy and flavourful. The popcorn chicken is amazing and the creme egg/biscoff springrolls were absolutely out if this world. Oh and don’t get us started on the shakes / signature cocktails. Loved it and can‘t wait for our next ML visit!!

Great burger & bar! Delicious burgers, excellent service, chilled vibe and you even get DJ on Friday nights! The sangria pot looks amazing. Totally a fun place to hang.

I tried the Reece’s peanut butter martini and it was delicious and tasted like a yummy milkshake!

Milky Lane is one of those places that says they cook the beef patties medium but then serves them well-done. The beef might have been good quality originally but ended up very dry. The rest of the burger didn’t resemble the promo photos (except for lots of cheese) but was a decent size and flavour. The lunchtime special with nicely crispy chips was good value, otherwise rather expensive.

I send email feedback 10 days ago and they never reply me, amazing customer service! 👍

:I've been in milky lane a few times after i moved to coogee. I like the place, good ambient, good quality ingredients, a well made burguer. I went there in the last Sunday and wasn't a good experience at all. I ordered one cheat platter with Kevin Bc and another Kevin Bc from my lady. Goodles sides as always.usually the burguer comes medium rare and was more than well done in that day, is ok but the problem is, I know is chargrilled but it was burned, with taste of burned meat and it overpower all the other is good ingredients becoming only the taste. Waset good at all.

Decent burger and drinks posited close to Coogee beach. The fried chicken burger was really juicy and reasonably priced too. In terms of drinks they aren’t cheap so if you want to save some coin sneak in between 4-6 for their happy hour. Venue is on the smaller side and outdoor seating is limited.

Having visited Parramatta, Bondi and this one - in terms of consistency, i think that's one of the main challenges and successes of this place. There's familiarity in the design and layout of each store (maybe not so much for Parra which has more private area and spaces suited to functions), and there's a unique flavour brought to that experience in each place they are in. That's 3 Big Poppas now! Total fan!

Actual rating [4.5]

We didn’t realise that this place had recently opened in Coogee but when we walked by, we were lured in by the snazzy looking interior and absolutely WOWed by the burgers! Hailing from Bondi, this burger bar is decked out in old school street art with a cool hip hop vibe with super helpful staff.

We had the Lil Weezy with a double wagyu beef pattie ($19) and the Fried Chicken Weezy burger ($12) and they both struck the perfect balance between delicious indulgence and ease of inhalation. Both came with the softest milk buns, succulent patties and the yummiest cheesy gravy and ML ketchup - we’d love to come back and try their cocktails and gram-worthy desserts next time! Overall rating: YARM

This is a foodie’s confession – I am not particularly into burgers. So when an opportunity to attend the Milky Lane Coogee opening party arrived, I nearly turned it down. However, intrigued by how a burger joint can turn over $2.2 million in its first year, take social media by storm and open up five different outlets within such a short space of time, I decided to jump on the burger bandwagon.

I got invited to the launch of the fifth Milky Lane in Coogee Beach the other day. It was fun. After succcessful branches in Bondi, Parramatta, Cronulla and the Gold Coast, this tells me they’ve got that formula down pretty well, and I would expect it to be a roaring success. It specialises in American food: burgers, milkshakes, mac and cheese balls, that sort of stuff. Which is easily available at other chain restaurants in Sydney. So what makes the difference is a heavy emphasis on cocktails, served in various shades of sweet, including a Reese’s Peanut Butter Martini which wasn’t being served at the opening, but I would love to try.
