Review Caffissimo Port Coogee - Coogee

I have been coming here for a few weeks now and I have to say the staff are fantastic and the food is equally as good ... if you like coffee as I do they do a very decent coffee also.

I just wanted poached eggs and bacon on toast. I ended up with my order plus spinach and a tomato. I don't eat tomato and I certainly don't eat wilted spinach. I was disappointed. Just serve what the customer asks for. There's no need to dress up an order so that you might feel better about what you are serving up. My apologies but this is after working my whole life in hospitality

Great Taro Latte. Niice view. Clean toilet. Friendly staff. Close to the wreck.

This is the first time I have dined here. It changed ownership a couple of months ago. The new owner also has a caffimisso north of the river. They pride themselves on good food, coffee and service. Once again I was not disappointed, lovely mocha and chic pannini. My son had the chic and mushroom risotto and really enjoyed it.Give the new owner and his staff a chance, I'm sure you will not be disappointed.

Stopped in for a latte after a session at Coogee beach. Gotta say the caffeine hit me like a bullet and the froth had me frothin. All jokes aside the coffee is good for what it is and beats Dome cafe by a country mile No comment on the food menu as we didn’t stop for a bite.

We absolute love Caffissimo in Port Coogee, the staff are super friendly the place is always clean. Mahi is such an amazing cook and we love LOVE her food. It has been a weekly staple for us to grab a bite close to home at an affordable price.

Coffee is still good, food tasty & well presented and staff are pleasant. It's a nice quiet cafe.

Slow, Slow, SLOW,
Never to return
The coffee maker used his teeth to open the ice cream container
The bloke taking my order couldn’t even use the till and Eftpos machine
Wife could only eat half her meal, as it wasn’t very nice
I had the cheeseburger but the patty was a frozen one.
I finished my meal and still waiting for my coffee that we ended getting takeaway
Mate do yourself a favour and close the doors before you go bankrupt
Awful, waited half an hour for coffees because they forgot our order then another 15 minutes for two burgers that came out to us with toast instead of buns and no chips when I asked if chips came with the burgers on ordering. Very dismissive staff, below average food, don’t waste your money or time.

Avoid

Such a shame but this place is a joke! We had a scoopon booked for dinner online and when we got there it was closed. So we dropped in to check if they were open that night and staff were not sure and a bit confused. We decided to go for lunch, when we arrived the menu was not complete with pages missing, we were greeted by a male who really was not interested in our business as it seemed to be a hassle for him and he was very arrogant when being asked for options about the included drink as they had nothing in stock. All of a sudden one of the chiefs let out a very loud “F*** we don’t have lettuce” which should not be a problem as the supermarket within the complex was open! This then resulted in a long discussion about who was going to get the lettuce.

After a long wait and other tables receiving their garlic bread starter we had to ask where ours was. It arrived with an added extra which not sure what it was see picture. We ordered a burger because no one can mess that up right! Very average with chips that looked like they had been left cooking for way too long. We did ask for aioli which we got something but it was not able to be consumed. No cakes on display as the cake cabinet and cookies jars were well and truly empty and I don’t think that is because they have been busy.

Disappointed and it was then a bit of a joke with a couple of the other people eating there about how shabby the whole experience was. So my advice avoid!

Waiting 30 minutes now for chips a burger and drinks. My drink forgotten as the poor staff are busy ducking for cover as the fighting kicks off in the kitchen.
