Review Greenmount Beach Surf Club - Coolangatta

Views are superb. We've eaten there a number of times, food is consistently of a high quality, particularly on the Deck. Staff are always friendly and helpful. Biggest pain is parking, you frequently have to walk a fair distance from the closest available park.

Very friendly staff. Warm welcome at the door and by staff at the counter taking our lunch order. Food was delicious. Fabulous outlook on the deck, enjoying views over the beach.

Great lunch spot We had burgers, they were flavoursome & generous, unfortunately the chips were cold. Lovely atmosphere, location has amazing views.

Great food, big servings, great service, I’m very impressed and will come back. Other local surf clubs should take notice of what’s happening here.

Nice place with a terrace overlooking Coolangatta beach. Standard SLSC restaurant menu. My steak was nicely medium rare, however, way too burnt, so it added a bitter taste. My partner's schnitzel was too cold.

Thank you to all the staff for looking after us for the Cooly Rocks weekend. Great food and fabulous bands. Got my photo there with the winner of the Elvis competition although didn't know then that he would win.😃

Best Birthday Function - Staff, Food, and the View were exceptional. The functions are back and better than ever. We catered for around 60 people and had several drop out, Sammy the function organiser helped us greatly, Ben the Head Chef was amazing and provided fresh and succulent platters for the occasion, with Kelly helping us keep things moving and fun. The whole night was amazing. Highly Recommended

After looking at the other reviews, Management must have made some recent improvements because we were quite happy with our lunch here. It was good pub food and it came out really quickly. We also had great service from the waitstaff. The older men doing the raffles on Sunday were lovely and brought a nice local/ family feel to the place. The view is wonderful as well. I'd recommend it to anybody wanting a simple pub meal in a relaxing atmosphere.

Pretty good. I have the 200 gram rump for $22 and is consistently good. The beer is cold and view spectacular, especially on sunset. The balcony just about hangs over the beach. Definitely give it a go,and I’m a pretty tough critic!

We had a beautiful meal would definitely recommend the coconut prawns. Excellent service meal served quickly. Staff friendly, yes some renovation work but did not affect us

The new chef is doing a great job. The staff in the kitchen, on the floor and behind the bar were all good. Had a great afternoon. The Ribs were awesome. The beers were cold. Summer is going to be a problem though with the sun beating in I don't think it will be nice on the deck.

This place was pretty bloody bad! Before we even walked up the stairs, staff said it was too busy and there were only two tables near the bar. I went for a look anyway and found a six seater right on the balcony plus a few others. Why are they trying to discourage people from going in and spending money? When we were ready to order, they had ran out of all types of food by 6pm and we had to keep altering our order. No pizzas, no dianne sauce.. who knows what else was unavailable. We ordered two kids meals with a garlic bread first. The only thing we needed to change was a kids spaghetti... we just wanted the sauce on the side. The staff brought it to the table all mixed together and said 'Sorry, we are all out of bowls'. Out of bowls? At 6.15pm on a Thursday? They still kept taking orders though so they must've had something to serve meals on. Idiots. And the garlic bread came 45mins later, after the mains and seemed to have been heated up in a microwave and not toasted... cold and soggy. The mains came out without the sauce stated on the menu and when we asked staff, they said they were going to get it and never returned. Too many better options nearby. Won't go back to this joint �

The venue is literally on the beach... The view, especially at sunset is incredible. And with the new management that has come in its getting better and better. New good options, entertainment including trivia on Tuesdays, and just a lot of good fun, not too expensive. Thoroughly recommend.

Our dinner was the worst I have ever attempted to eat. Soggy lettuce, dirty grilled and oily chicken Caesar salad. Limp chips and the vegetables were cooked for people with no teeth. Would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Lunch starts at 11am which a great time and the food was hot, plentiful and tasty. They have a lift so you don't have to struggle up the stairs. Nice breeze on the balcony with a great view. Remember to take cash as the bar does not have eftpos. Eftpos is available when ordering lunch.

1st time back since the Reno and not a good experience at all They have totally covered the outside deck no sun gets in at all, specials board has gone from 20 options to 3, meal was cold and the the gravy was disgusting I will not be going back nor recommending this place Such a shame have had many great days there

Bar staff are soooo slow, enough staff behind bar but not serving. It was punishment going to the bar. If I stayed any longer, I would have ordered 2 drinks at a time.

We're up from Melb, popped down for dinner. We absolutely love the outside area, the staff & the food was great. Highly recommend it.

Drinks good food fried 4coconut prawns few chips 14$ dirty tables drink glasses everywhere need better snack menu overall no good. Drinks great �

We had a great experience. The meals were fantastic. Great value for money. The staff were very polite and very helpful. I would recommend it.

Ordered 2 fish and chips $19.95 each and had to send it back twice..... Raw fish.... bloody joke. Never ever again go to this place....����
