Review Big Chief Burgers - Coolangatta

Menu layout was quite poor, and to my knowledge a kebab with the lot comes with egg, but apparently not? However i must say the kebab did taste nice, but would be better with egg. Yes the egg make a massive difference, hence my rating. Side note: redeeming factor was the fact i found a few olives in mine.

I didn't actually purchase anything because I was so annoyed. I had intended to buy a small serve of chips because I saw they were a fair price at $3.30. however when I went to pay I was told the price was $4.50 but the large painted sign says $3.30 I said. He pointed to cardboard boxes stuck on the wall with a different price to the main sign which I had read. He argued with me that the price had been blacked out however the amount of $3.30 was clear and could be comfortably read. This fact was confirmed by another customer. I politely explained that having different prices displayed for the same product was illegal because it is misleading as it had been in my case. I told the attendant that this kind of thing can lead to the store being fined and because he took a position of resistance rather than apologizing for the mistake as well as refusing my request to provide me the chips for the lower advertised price which was the reason I was there in the first place I had no other choice than to give them this bad review. I wasn"t going to pay the higher price out of principle and left the shop with every intention to make a formal complaint to the Office of Fair Trading but decided to make my comment here. Somehow I have a feeling that if I was to return in a week's time I kind of expect to see the signs exactly as they were today, with double prices. They probably didn't do it intentionally but it was annoying just the same.

The food was actually pretty good, however we waited almost an hour for some burgers. I watched them in the kitchen out of curiosity, and honestly the staff had no idea and were so disorganised. The moral of the story: don't bother with this place of it's busy!

Haha, I read the other reviews before posting mine... 3rd review mentioning pigeons, no wonder they didn't seem surprised whilst they were shewing them out. All display cases empty, looks like the place was closed down the day before. Staff loudly discussing what they did on the weekend and bagging their mates out. No hello, Thanks, Have a good day etc. More of an inconvenience that I had ordered a kebab... Thats fine was horrid anyway. dry tasteless oily.

This was possibly the worst burger I have had in my life. McDonald’s would be a 5 compared to this. If you want grey and extremely budget meat, huge slices of thick raw onion, and shredded lettuce that resembles sauerkraut- then this is the place for you. Sorry but if you don’t try - why bother?

I am Extremely offended, upset and violated. I feel as if I’m a puppet to their antics. I received major racism because of my Asian culture, They chucked my kebab on the counter with horrible customer support. I was upset with my experience and expressed that via a kind and caring conversation, which resulted in arrogance and pure agony. I highly HIGHLY RECOMMEND NOT DINING HERE. P.s meat is dryer than their dms.

Absolute filthiest broth of a burger shop you will see. Burger meat looked like it was microwaved. Old mate just on his phone the whole time. Pigeons in the kitchen.. threw the meal straight in the bin and reported to GCCC. No way in hell should this joint be open
