Excellent food💯, very clean, great customer service💯, and💯 viben atmosphere.. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE KAI KITCHEN,KIWI FOOD.

Best proper NZ choc croissants that actually have chocolate in the centre, not like what most other cafes serve (where you'd feel lucky to find 1% chocolate inside a "chocolate" croissant 🤔). Also makes awesome Nutella rolls that melt in your mouth...but they sell out fast. Such helpful and friendly NZ staff, feels like a little piece of NZ home is just down the road ❤️

Went to the Kai Kitchen and Bakery for smoko today after being told by one of my scaffolder brothers to try the pies here. Usually I'm sceptical of most pies especially when the rave is coming from a bloke who eats servo pies but in this instance I can say with truth that this was one of the better pies I have had in SE QLD, and certainly the best on the Gold Coast for sure. I had the Chilli Beef and Cheese, the star of the show was the pastry which was soft, flaky and buttery. The filling was amazing with a very mild heat level that paired well with the rich gravy that had hints of thyme, oregano and beautiful tomato. The meat was there, and not a mince filled bag either it was nice gravy beef or silverside cooked to perfection. I will be going back and trying the more exotic offerings to see if they match today's pie but I have no doubt that all the food on offer here will be to a very high standard and I wont be disappointed. 4 stars for now... Had to come back and edit this; The Aunties at Kai Kitchen are total legends who deliver amazing food of all types with a smile and love. 5 stars, Try everything they have to offer, you won't be disappointed.
