The Bakery gets mixed reviews. As a visitor, I thought I'd at least try.
On the day ... I found the staff polite and helpful and the pie and pastie both excellent. The coffee was also excellent... (taste, but a bit cooler than I prefer),.
The temperature problem can be easily fixed by supplying the staff with a milk thermometer, as is done by most businesses without a full time barista.

Staff are great.
Pies are nice just need more filling inside.
It's such a big place looking from the outside but to me I was hoping there would be more variety of baked goods like salad rolls, fresh cream donuts e.t.c.

Must visit. A wide selection of pies and pasties. And the pastries are fantastic. My personal favourite is the French Vanilla - absolutely delicious. But make sure you’re hungry because they are BIG. There’s a wide range of other tasty goodies to choose from too. If you can’t find something to your liking, your not trying. Don’t leave it until late in the day though, as they can run out of the most popular items.

On my search for Victoria's best pies, croissants and vanilla slice. All I can say is that I've had better. The croissant wasn't flakey or buttery enough. The custard inside the vanilla slice was gelatinous. And the pies were... Just ok. Great customer service, though.

Friendly staff & great food! However, it was very frustrating to need to wait 25 minutes in line just for a veggie pastie & sausage roll to be put in a brown bag (basic takeaway stuff!). It's a shame because the food was great - just inefficient service.
Please know also that tickets don't actually work in practice when some people have multiple items/complex orders like coffee & build your own sandwiches etc. whereas others just want a basic quick takeaway.
Simple suggestion have two seperate lines one for hot food: pies, sausage rolls, pasties etc and another for the rest! Would love to change this review when/if this changes.

Can not comment on their products as I didn’t get a chance to purchase anything… waited in big line to get served, and when it was my turn they, the workers there decided to walk else where and do collecting cups from the tables and washing their coffee milk jugs!!! Very disappointing, not great customer service

Really good service, hot pies came out on trays galore as I was ordering. Food was yummy, service was great. Only negative was the long wait but we did happen to be there for lunch. Very good otherwise
