I really can see why this place is so popular with locals and travellers alike.
Staff were incredibly friendly and knowlageable on the local area too

This fish and chip shop was not the best.
First of all. A child in the kitchen were hot fryers and food handling is not ok. Running up and down screaming whilst there are very busy. The young girl at the front needs more training but she was Lovely.
We were not advised there was to be a wait and we waited for about 1 hour for our food. They were very busy but there service and structure was not good. I hope that they improve their services.

So disappointed. With many fish and chip places nearby I can't say I'd come back to this one having tried them all now. The fish wasn't cooked properly, the service was slow and the staff were grumpy. With a competitive market for business, it doesn't take much to turn on the right formula. I won't be returning and will go elsewhere. See other reviews for better places.
Wheelchair friendly. Kid friendly. Pram/Stroller accessible. Good parking but do watch the time limits as the parking inspectors are vigilant. Lots of other places to eat nearby.

2 for way too oily. Potato cakes weren't cooked through. Fish was tasty if you pulled off the oily batter. Chips were good.

Coming in a family of 4, one young kid, one pre teen, one young adult and one mum we ordered two kids packs and two souvlaki's and a medium chips to eat between mum and i, the man at the register asked how many people were eating mum looked at him and asked why? He said we are ordering to much, mum then decided she didn't want to deal with his rudeness we all walked out as he shouted to us, "your ordering too much you already fat" WE WILL NEVER GO BACK HERE!! Extreamly rude and kept walking away as we were ordering!, we came here years ago also and they were rude but we brushed it off but enough is enough! You do not call your customers fat and you don't tell them they are ordering too much when they had ordered a good amount, this is a small buisness ran by a husband and wife they are both as rude as eachother, this place isnt worth the time or money!

Racist old lady. Made us wait at the counter showing there were so busy and when she was finally ready to take order, she got a call so started taking order over the phone. Whilst we waited and talked, she shouted at us saying she can't hear. When another staff tried to take our order she suddenly shouted again - I can't hear.
If only I could give them minus stars for being so rude and racist. Never going back here again.

My dad ordered us lunch, 3 pieces of 'flake' grilled and chips. Brang it home, firstly, fish was not flake. secondly it was not even 1cm in thickness and wrapped In tin foil. Not even the size of a plastic side plate. Disappointing . I rang to make a complaint and a man said our order did not exist and we must have got it elsewhere. What a joke. Waste of $40.
