Fantastic and friendly service. Good food. The salt & pepper squid was superb, freshwater trout was so tasty, salmon was really delicious with its sauce and baked vege. Warm and beautiful ambience. Good cup of cappucino. Creme brulee really taste of the lavender. I recommend this restaurant.
I had a very pleasant experience following my walk. I ordered the three course meal and each course was delicious. I started with the grilled quail which smelt divine. The highlight of this course was the farro grains that the quail was served on. They were full of flavor.
Second course was the pork short ribs which were inoffensive and tasty enough. I've had better before but I wasn't disappointed at all with these.
Final course was the Panna Cotta, which was soft, with an excellent texture and plenty of flavor.
I had a nice window seat with a view of cradle mountain. The smell of the fire and the decor left a cozy impression. Would go again.
Absolutely amazing service by a young lady named Alana. Tonight my partner and I were celebrating our engagement and Alana made us laugh, took photos and just could not help us enough. The food was fabulous, the view was amazing... but these days it’s rare to find someone as accommodating and efficient as this young lady. The restaurant gets 5 out of 5 for food, atmosphere and ambiance but thankyou Alana for making our night perfect we give you a ten!!!
Love the new menu!! The team are awesome and food is amazing. I had crayfish chawanmushi, quail, pork jowl and smores and they were all outstanding.
The best food for a great price. Super fancy dishes served by wonderful people. Would 100% recommend this place to anyone visiting Cradle Mountain.
I had a pleasant experience 2 years ago, but after today's dinner I think they have stepped up their game.
