Review The Volt - Cranbourne

Arguably the best cafe ever. The owners and staff are so lovely and take such pride in the food, coffee & service. Incredible coffees, delicious and aesthetically-pleasing food, funky cafe space. Definitely our go-to-local & cafe we recommend to people who are looking for a place to brunch šŸ™šŸ»šŸ™šŸ»šŸ™šŸ»

This place is amazing..... staff are so friendly and professional. The food is to die for, my partner is excited to come back and have the cheeky Benny again I loved the flavours of the halloumi stack just Devine. Oh and the peanut Burt smoothie yummmmm Will definitely be coming back and telling all our friends too.

Came here on a whim, and was especially pleased with the great service. Our waitress was great at suggesting menu items, helping us decide and making sure we felt attended to. Once food arrived, we were pleasantly surprised by the perfect portion sizes, high food quality and freshness. The avocado was fresh and not all browned and yucky like some other places can have. The eggs were perfect and the food was well seasoned. Our drinks was delicious as well. The menu is small, however this is great because it shows a high level of expertise in their items, not a random menagerie. Although itā€™s a small space, itā€™s definitely very nice and overall a great experience. The wait time was very short and the food delivery was prompt. Canā€™t wait to be back.

Great little brunch place in a nice spot too, with a little fenced off dog park across from it. Menu was unique to me, as well as the presentation of some dishes. Presentation met the flavour expectations as well. While I had a sizeable dish, would have expected 2 pieces of bread to balance out the bacon/eggs. Overall, great place and good food, along with service you would expect, would be here again.

The most incredible and total cafe experience I have ever had. The staff = courteous, friendly and professional. The food = delicious, great value and well presented. The coffee = Award winning, delectable and 10/10 every time. Thereā€™s a reason Iā€™m here 3-4 times every week for the last 3 years.

Iā€™ve never felt more at home than I do at this family owned cafe! No matter how busy they get we are always welcomed with a smile and greeted with love, 6 years on! My day is never the same if I havenā€™t started my day with a coffee from Volt! The food is delicious, always fresh and I have never had a bad meal! The coffee is the best and find it hard to drink coffee anywhere else now šŸ˜‚ My boys run to the owner Maki from a distance! He has truly won them over and never forgets a marshmallow! I have never met an owner who continues to put his customers first and is so great with kids while still running a business! Cathy the owner is always bubbly, welcoming and super friendly! This duo and their amazing team have definitely brought a great culture to Clyde! If youā€™ve been to this place, youā€™ll know exactly what Iā€™m talking about - this place has set the standards high - no wonder they were voted ā€œMelbourneā€™s best Coffee!ā€ If you are looking for a family spot to dine in or takeaway that encapsulates true family culture with vibe, then Volt cafe is it!

Great place, great food, great coffee but... you have to figure out a better takeaway system like having a waiter come collect orders outside. Having to wait 15 minutes in the cold is making customers leave the line and walk away. Understand its a small space but may be all this place needs to be a 5. Service is imaculate

My partner and I ate at the Vault Cafe yesterday. OMG the food was amazing!! They had a (gluten free!!!) chicken Parma on the specials board with a fried egg on top, with chips and coleslaw. It was seriously the best Parma Iā€™ve ever had! Parmas are my favourite and gluten free ones are very hard (nearly impossible!) to come by. To be able to relax and eat and not have to worry about cross contamination was also so enjoyable. Will def be back! ļæ½ļæ½ļæ½

Honestly this is probably the only place I'll go for brunch. I've been multiple times, always had a different meal and I've always been happy! The staff are SO lovely and the vibe there is amazing. Awesome place all around. Food looks amazing for those Instagram foodies who like taking photos ļæ½

Cheeky friendly staff make you feel like you are their number one customer. Child friendly too. Lovely coffee. Even better food. Cake selection - to die for. A hidden gem. Nourish bowl my favourite.

Had breakfast there today with my daughter, the food was absolutely beautiful, and the best chai latte by far, and the staff were so just wonderful, best birthday breakfast ever. ļæ½ļæ½

I have been coming here with mum regularly for over 6 months now. I have brought different friends and even my kids. We have always been impressed with food quality, taste, menu options and presentation. Almond latte's are hard to get right and many places can't do them properly, however reliably Volt always leave me happy! Service is excellent, always friendly, we are remembered and valued. Brilliant Cafe. keep it up Team xx

Yummy, thoroughly enjoyed eating here this morning. Soy latte was great and then I had the eggs Benedict with mushrooms and it was top quality. Will be back!

Iā€™d been meaning to get to Volt Cafe in Clyde North for ages. It is well known in the community for providing great service and Coeliac safe food. The cafe is even owned by a Coeliac, so you know they know their stuff. Finally, the opportunity arose when we were in the area and I jumped at the chance to eat there. With a full house on Sunday for brunch we thankfully managed to get a table. The atmosphere is bright and vibrant with lots of families enjoying brunch. You can find them at the shopping center on the corner of Selandra Boulevard and Linsell Boulevard in Clyde North.

Found this little shop when we needed a great coffee ! My sister and I had the Breaky Board and it was fantastic! I had a Latte which was lovely and my sister had a Chai Latte which she said was the best she had in a long time.Ā
Very happy and have returned 3 times since. All times the staff were accomodating , even when very busy and the food was always great.
Savvy And Lifestyle
What a nice addition to Clyde a well known popular cafe is exactly what we needed and wanted. Came past here for a skinny latte as this is sort of local to me, I was quite impressed.

There is no doubt this little cafe is doing things right. I walked in and was promptly greeted as I asked for a menu. Shown to a table in the most friendly and welcoming manner I was asked if I wanted a coffee while I decide on food....upsell number one. I ordered that coffee and was in front of me quicker than it could be made, I'm sure of that!I found my order and the female was helpful with my order. She then said "did you want mushrooms with that or a hashbrown"? Upsell number 2.. I replied yes please.

All this was great and the place was spotless but for 10am rhe music was too loud and slightly disturbing after sitting near the kitchen for 15min. Easy fix. The only other reason i couldnt give more than 3 stars was the pricing and I found it too expensive for portions and what the food was. I couldnt fault the meal I had, as it really was perfect in taste and presentation but $20 for poached eggs on bread is a bit rich (hash brown and mushrooms extra of course).

Would I go again? Yes, absolutely. The coffee was sublime and velvety. Its clean and super in service but you might want to think about getting the bill if you go with 2 or 3 friends!

Great little cafe located at the Selandra boulevard sc.
Got there on a rainy Saturday morning and was seated quickly. Itā€™s a little cafe and the atmosphere is great.
Our order got in quick and we were not disappointed. The food was delicious. The coffee was great and the staff were friendly and attentive.
The menu is great offering the usual favourites to healthy options as well.
It offers both indoor and outdoor seating.
Itā€™s bound to be a neighbourhood favourite of it already isnā€™t.
Recovering Ice-cream Addict
My girlfriends and I had a lovely brunch here today. All three of us went for the sweet options on the menu-- black waffles with caramelized pineapples, fresh fruits and coconut dressing; french toast with strawberries and lemon curd; and chocolate pancakes with fruits and salted caramel sauce. I recommend all three! Also, my friend loved the chai latte.

Great coffee and a wide and different breakfast menu, really interesting combinations and very tasty options. The ingredients are fresh and done well. Great service and reasonable prices.

Went to this cafe first thing in the morning so it was nice and quiet. The service was very accomodating and the ambience was quite lovely. Both my mother and I were really impressed by the foodā€”I had the french toast and she had the croquettes. Although the combination of the cream and crumble and toast was a little too sweet for my liking, the cream had a lovely nutty and decadent flavour, the crumble was a good change of texture and the toast with the cinnamon sugar was nice and fluffy. All in all, the toast would definitely satisfy a childā€™s sweet tooth (and itā€™s great for photos too!). My motherā€™s croquettes were crispy on the outside and fluffy and warm on the inside and it was definitely not dense as I thought it would have been which was a win. She also swapped out the poached egg for scrambled eggs which the chef gladly did for us. Although the eggs were more creamy and heavy than what we were used too, overall, it was a lovely dish. The quantities were generous and both my mother and I left happy and full. Will definitely be back to try other dishes!

YUM! I came here with my work colleagues, as one was a celiac and was pleasantly surprised with an all gluten free menu. I really enjoyed everything I had here and did not even notice that everything was gluten free. The pancakes especially which were so fluffy were some of the best I've had and left me very impressed. The cafe was quite busy for a weekday and staff were super accommodating and friendly

I stumbled across Volt via a mother's group not long after my daughter was born. As someone with coeliac disease, and now a toddler with lactose intolerance Volt has been a safe haven for my family, with a huge variety of coeliac safe gluten free food - including chips and burgers, such a rare treat! They're so careful with prep and I've eaten there weekly for two years now and am yet to have a bad meal. A diverse menu that they're always reviewing, I can't recommend this family owned cafe enough. Plus the coffee is amazing.

I came with my family and friends and we all thoroughly enjoyed our experience. The service was quick and the food was tasty, I wouldn't say it was the best food I've had but it's definitely insta- worthy.

Great food and friendly staff! Definitely one of my favourite cafes in this area. The mushrooms are to die for. The coffee is fantastic! We ordered eggs beg and high voltage brekkie..
Marissa
The serving for eggs benedict was quite small and only minimal hollondaise sauce although I did ask for no bacon. Coffee was average. Service was also average.

Located in the relatively newly developed suburb of Cylde North, The Volt CafĆ© is a stunning cafĆ© which entices locals and passer-byā€™s.Ā . Passionate owners Cathy and Maki run the cafĆ© like a well-oiled machine. Under their guidance, the menu features a wonderful array of options that focuses on wholesome, nutrient dense dishes that also boasts plenty of flavour. We loved tasting our way through Volt CafĆ©ā€™s menu. We couldnā€™t resist sampling their salads which were simply divine and capable of tempting any carnivore.

Excellent service and very friendly staff. The coffee was great and the food was amazing. Didnā€™t wait long for meals either. Definitely looking forward to going back to try more items on the menu!

It was lovely was a busy Saturday I went with my daughter after her dancing classes she is a fussy eater however she finished her food and I know this is the place for me I loved it. It was a small cafe but service and food was just on point. Keep up the good work guys
Good Food Good Mood
It was lovely to be invited to Volt cafe this morning. Having no idea where Clyde North was did not phase me in the slightest as I once travelled to Adelaide to eat sushi, nothing gets between me and food and surely not a distance of 35 minutes. Considering many of us suburban dwellers trek out to Richmond or South Yarra each weekend to brunch itā€™s well worth considering enduring the same distance in the opposite direction for some seriously delicious and stunningly presented food.
Offering quite an innovative menu comprising of classic brunch fare and crowd pleasing favourites, many dishes also have a Lebanese influence owing to the owners background. Ingredients such as zataar and dukkah feature which allows locals to experience some fantastically creative food without having to head to the city.
I started with a coco bongo smoothie which was a lovely creamy choice and perfect with the addition of protein powder given Iā€™d spent the morning at the gym in anticipation of a big lunch! Others tried turmeric lattes which came with the beautiful golden grind spoons which have inspirational messages. Iā€™ve seen these once before at another cafe and think itā€™s a really special touch.
We had the chilli scrambled at the table which was a seriously impressive stack. For a humble egg dish this presented sensationally and gave me serious food envy. The nourish bowl was also very vibrant and an excellent choice for fitspos. I went for the Melbourne classic of smashed avo which came with two perfect poachies and the interesting addition of bocconcini instead of the typical feta you generally see paired with avocado. I really enjoyed this cheese and could tell it was super high quality and fresh.
I also sampled mumsyā€™s sweet potato rosti with smoked salmon and poached eggs. I think she actually said it best with ā€˜on a miserable day like today that colour in the plate took me to Byron Bayā€™. Itā€™s pretty cool when food can transport you from the worst rain Melbourne has experienced in decades to a tropical getaway.
To finish up we decided to share the picture perfect French toast with white chocolate, berries and lemon syrup. Hands down the best French toast Iā€™ve ever had. And apologies in advance to Mum who was experiencing her very first taste of French toast because she isnā€™t likely to get it that good again.
An amazing meal was had by all. I canā€™t even believe gluten free food can taste this good. If you are gf get yourself down here immediately. These chefs are simply marvellous

This would have to be one of my local favorites
The staff are always so welcoming and the service is it on point to
The food and coffee is to die for!! the paleo bread and the nourish bowl are a few not to be missed

A pleasant surprise for finding this fancy little cafe in Clyde. Located in a local shopping centre it looked popular with the locals. Loved the industrial styling in the cafe. Great menu with a few interesting dishes. Service needs work but the food was great! Hands down to the chef which delivered some great dishes well plated.

standard cafe, not exceptional. Good coffee (I tried the long black), standard prices as well. Is a good option in the area. They have appealing cakes/cupcakes/muffins I felt really tempted for the red velvet, however I went for the peanut butter ball (healthier?) and it was so nice, not dry at all!!

There defs needs to be more places like this in the south east. Really cute spot. The service wasn't great though, but the chai was great & the protein ball I had was nice too

Shakshuka was delicious and not over cooked like other cafes. Coffee was excellent.
Service was great and staff are so friendly, even when we were leaving every one of them said goodbye, even the girl on her break.
Can't wait to go back already

YUM! We love this cafe! Coffee is the best in the area and the food is absolutely divine! Beautiful space and the owners and staff are always so warm and welcoming! Its always our first choice when we decide to go out for breakfast/brunch or lunch!

Swung past yesterday for a coffee and must say one of the best coffees I have had. Great service and welcoming atmosphere, looking forward to going back for a meal and of course another coffee!

The staff are so lovely here! I come almost every day for the coffee, as it is the best in the area bar-none! Can't say anything about the food as I haven't really found anything vegan on their menu (although I was told once when I went in that they had a vegan cake-thing in the front case). Highly recommend if you're in the area! I'm lucky that I live just around the corner ;)

What a pleasant surprise. Coffee has to be second to none. The owners and staff are always friendly and welcoming when you arrive. Service is great. Must try the pumpkin and feta for breakfast.
So many options in the menu and they just keep getting better.
Great work.

Fresh and fun dishes at The Volt which not only taste delicious but are also soooo good for you! Anyone with food intolerances will adore the attention to detail at this cafe...not to mention the fabulous city style ambience in the middle of the suburbs. Oh, and the best coffee in Cranbourne hands down...yummmm

Food tastes great but takes a ridiculously long time to serve. Been here 3 times and the average waiting time for food is 45 minutes ):
While I'm not a big fan of the breakfast items( the chorizo is very tough for some reason) I highly recommend the burgers, especially the chicken burger! The specials are pretty great as wellšŸ‘ŒšŸ¾

The food is always so beautiful and fresh at the volt cafe. Attentive staff along with lovely customer service. The cafe is always clean and we always have a nice experience. Highly recommend.
