Review Clarinda Village Fish And Chippery - Cranbourne

I've being to nearly all fish and chip shops around the area and this one is the best. What do I mean it's the best one in the area? I find it's not to over priced like the others and its always fresh on every order I make. Plus you can order through their website which is handy.

Appalling customer service. We usually order for delivery so I've never known how terrible in store service is. I ordered via UberEats and it told me 60 minute wait which was fine but then I changed to pick up which the app allowed me to do and was told the order was ready. Went down with my toddler and was told '5 minutes'. That's absolutely fine if it was indeed anywhere near five minutes (at this point I had ordered almost 60 minutes ago). After 15 minutes they didn't even know who had ordered what and there were other customers who had also been told 'five minutes'. Was told my order was cancelled but then that he was 'making it now'. The children working at the counter have clearly had no training and have no idea what they are doing, thinking everything is just a joke. Multiple orders sitting there and they had no idea who they were for. The owners yelling in their language and all looking confused doesn't make for a friendly atmosphere. Will definitely never ever be going back.

Great quick fish and chips but seriously need to rethink employing jnrs, greasy kids who can't read and need to wash. Your food is great, these kids let you and your business down.

I’ve had plenty of fish and chips from various places in my life, but this is among one of the best ones in terms of service and value. Fish were crispy and well cooked, and we were given a generous portion of chips. The food could do with more seasoning/salt though. Overall, Clarinda Village Fish and Chippery has some of the best fish and chips in the area and amazing customer service.

One of the best fish & chips in the area. Always fresh and generous servings at a good price. Would recommend having the HSP Pack as well 👍 ***Update*** Since the new owners, pricing has gone up and quality has gone down. HSP is now served up out of Tupperware containers and are reheated on the hot plate 🤮

This fish and chip shop used to be the best going around until new owners, Now it is the worst for food and service there is none at all, they got rid of all there staff that knew how to run the business and replaced with juniors that do not have a clue, We will never return to this business at it is SHOCKING they have no idea how to run a business and have totally ruined an awesome place.
