Review Hotham Street Fish & Chips - Cranbourne

Adrian Fleming
The souvlaki was a bit grissly but had good flavour and we also got a stale flat bread. Chips were quite nice i like when there a bit soggy. Grilled flake was below average. My partner liked the fried dim sims but steamed ones werent the best. Potato cakes were pretty good. Had to wait 45 mins because of busy time which is probably why my food wss quite cold.

The best fish and chip place around cranbourne. Highly recommended it's clean not greasy and staff are friendly and helpful

Food was stone cold. Way to oily. Burger roll was burnt and the steak sandwich is pathetic. Dont waste your money
Smooth
The chips are good some days and some days they taste like they've been sitting there for a while

Hotham street would have to be by far the best fish&chip shop in the area πŸ™ŒπŸΌ the Chicken salt is incredible and prices are cheap and you always get great food

This is one of the best fish and chip shops I have ever been too!!! I have lived just around the corner from this place for twelve years and I don't think I have ever had a bad experience with the quality of there foods nor with the costumer service.
Cassidy & Sneakers
Cassidy – this used to be our local fish and chips shop before we moved suburbs, but we still go back there from time to time because I love their lamb kebabs. I’ve noticed in the last couple of visits it seems to have shrunk in size but the flavour is still great and will keep me coming back. I usually would order a couple of potato cakes as well, they are always crispy and more often than not they would throw in an extra or two with the order. Service is quick and I like that they have eftpos available as well.

Sneakers – I really like most of the food at this fish and chips shop. The fried food is generally nice and crispy. The kebabs are really tasty, but over the four years we’ve been going there the quality of the lamb in the kebabs has gone from a 9/10 to a 6.5/10.. They don’t make especially nice burgers here, but if you stick to the fried food you can’t go wrong.

Cleanliness of the restaurant – n/a

Cleanliness of plates/cutlery/glasses – n/a

Cleanliness of the menus – n/a

Service - 8/10

Wait time for food - average

Food overall – 7.5/10

Ambience – n/a

Value for money - 8/10
