Review Shot On Military - Cremorne

Kris Moyse
I love a bacon and egg roll after exercise so have had many in many locations.... And I have to say this is the best I have ever had. Surprisingly hard to get the ingredients, cooking and balance of basic to sophisticated. These guys have nailed it for me!! Coffee is great too!!

Went here as it was rated quite well. Ordered the bacon and egg roll only to be quite disappointed. Flavour was average, egg undercooked and the drink they gave me from the fridge was warm. I won’t be going back. Plenty of better places to go to in this area.

Coffee is delicious, but it has been 20 min for a breakfast wrap , and I am still waiting . Unfortunately, need to improve service speed. Don’t come here if u are hungry. Good for take away coffee

Great coffee and brekkie! Their eggplant shakshuka and big Irish breakfast is AMAZING.

Phenomenal sandwich takeaway in neutral Bay Area. The baguette is AMAZING! And reasonably priced. Their know their coffees too. Saw many specialty beans in use and they do single origin.

If you crave coffee, good, satisfying coffee, then this IS the place. No frills , just good honest , packed with a punch, real deal stuff. Alex, the owner, knows everything one needs to know about making amazing coffee. Try it out.

Visited from London and loved your Eggs Royal (Australians still say Eggs Benadict with Salmon though). Great bagel, was it brioche?

Waited 30 minutes, still no sign of a bacon and egg, for take away! enough time so even a long black is stone cold. If you are going to have this kind of delay, tell your customers, and serve the coffee with food.

Get there! Coffee is el primo. That's right. You'll come back. I'm not even going to mention the breakfast burger.
Brett Sammo
Amazing coffee and great bacon and egg rolls. Such an amazing atmosphere.

Best joint north of the harbour! Perfect coffee, conversation, and service!
Dan Campbell
Easily one of the best, and most unique coffees around. Great service and atmosphere. Customer for life.

Aydan has character. The food has flavour and the coffee is what you'll go back for

This is the best coffee in Sydney. House blend 'Ammo' in short black...wow!
James Hennessy

This is my usual place for coffee during weekends. The coffee is a bit bitter but I like it that way. I have had breakfast there a few times and it was equally good. They have a very good selection of vegetarian sandwiches as well. It has been under a new management since a few months but thankfully the quality of the coffee and the service hasn’t changed.

We had takeaway coffee here. Only had a brief interaction but the barista was friendly. Our coffee was decent but a touch bitter & we had to add sugar.

Great breakfast burger and coffee, nice friendly service too!
Havent tried anything else here but there are always line ups so would try others

Try the shashouka! I've now made this cafe my favourite this side of the bridge. Good coffee, great service and awesome brekky. There's a bit more room to sit in the loft area upstairs as well.

Very tasty breakfasts! The bacon and egg brioche roll is about as good as a bacon and egg roll gets. The Coffee is nice and strong. Funky fitout with friendly and efficient staff. Quite cramped and small venue so takeaways are probably the go.

Trendy little cafe making waves out of Cremorne and definitely kicking goals. Most of the customers seem to be locals who are fiercely loyal and swear by this establishment.

Me, I'm not so convinced, don't get me wrong it was good food and even better coffee 100% but when you fat cost, parking and location that makes you want to look for a more accessible place near by.

You decide if it's worth the hassle

Easily one of my coffee shops in Sydney, always welcoming staff, coffee consistently good, industrial/warehouse type decor.....all in all quite a funky little place.
Not that much room downstairs (bench seating along the front and one or two small tables along the inside wall opposite the counter, more seating upstairs BUT a narrow spiral staircase has to be negotiated to get up there........tricky if you have a drink and a plate of food in your hands, however staff will deliver to your table.......all in all I would definitely recommend this place, so why not 5 out of 5?, because in my opinion everywhere can improve to a certain degree...

Sydney's best kept secret! Great brew, tasty food (especially Alex's Fave and smashed avo) and amazing atmosphere. The friendliest staff around - just 5 mins sitting in this delightful cafe and you will see the regulars streaming in for great coffee and a chat with Aydin and his team.

Great coffee, good vibe, amazing service. Got a simple bacon and egg roll and it came with an awesome tomato salsa and extra bread (as i ordered it GF). Great spot
Thezenman77
Great coffee and the special French toast with ricotta and banana is to die for. The owner is a funny character too. Makes your visit memorable.

Went here for breakfast on a Sunday. The staff were really friendly. The coffee was amazing and not burnt they really know their coffee.
My wife and I had the Alex Special for food and it was amazing definitely would recommend!!!

Best coffee I've had north of the bridge. Cool place too.
LNSGuy
Fantastic!. This place is fantastic! The coffee is by far the best on Military Road and the food (especially their weekend brunch specials) are fresh, usually pretty healthy and packed full of flavour. The shop is also very funky. A very cool addition to the LNS scene!

Best coffee in town with a fantastically fresh menu. Shot on Military has it all! House blend full bodied coffee, inspired menu and a funky vibe. My wife and I venture over from Redfern for our weekly shot and heartfelt welcome from Aydin.

Perfect for speedy lunch breaks, great value and super yummy! The 'chiko role' sandwich and ham cheese & tomato are sure to satisfy

Finally - great coffee in Cremorne!. The coffee rumour mill had me on a mission to find Shot last week. It is a little bit difficult to find (they are getting big signs installed soon I am told) but the best tip is across the road from the Orpheum and look out for the green (vertical garden and feature wallpaper) plus industrial design with massive concrete coffee bench and raw wood seating etc.
Back to the coffee - spot on! Yeah! And the best of all - apart from the use of Bonsoy - is they offer almond milk too. Chicken sandwiches are amazing - dill, walnuts, perfect mayo... you get the picture. The chai is also home brewed and also gets the thumbs up.
Such a cute use of space - there is an upstairs, mezzanine level where you can sit with friends or perch on a stool and look out over busy Military Road for some of the best people watching. This little cafe is my new fave!
Adams
Funky and interesting cafe on the north shore. Coffee is really good and food was very tasty. Staff are eager to please - especially that crazy owner/barister! Loving the design and styling too.
Wootang
Darn good food & coffee. This funky new cafe is awesome for anyone on the Northside wanting a new place to hang out. The food is simply brilliant, so fresh and tasty - all options are great but my fave is the bacon and egg roll - the best one you'll ever eat. The coffee will have you going back for more again too. Mmmmm! They've just started opening on Sundays now too, so more chances to get your shot fix!
