Review Town And Country - Cremorne

Restaurant was hotter than outside. The wine was warm and when I tried to order food I was told that too many people had already ordered. This was even though we had booked the night before. There was only 9 people in the restaurant altogether.

Very nice as cozy little place :) When you order drinks or food - they would bring them very quickly. Very nice food and reasonable prices. We have enjoyed our night !!!
CAP RICOSM
Based on American bars found in Texas. Great food plus excellent range of beers & quality wines . And the cocktails look sensational. The musical duo provide outstanding entertainment playing blues and country & western music Do your self a favour and visit this miniature bar with huge charisma. You wont regret it .

This place is great! Amazing wines, food and service. Atmosphere is chill and cool and the staff is also really friendly.

What a great little venue! The team are unpretentious, service is homely and combination of Australian drinks and amazing simple food is refreshing! What a place!!! Tell your friends

My partner ordered 2 burgers & nachos via Uber eats and we went to pick it up ourselves once the app said the food was ready. Got there and they hadn't even started making it yet and said to wait an additional 10-15mins, which was fine. We got home and realised they had forgotten our nachos, the extras we had added to the chicken burger, the chicken was also soggy and the bun was stale - couldn't even eat it. I tried to call them half a dozen times with no answer and when they did answer, said "hello" and then hung up on me. An awful experience overall.

Made a booking in advance for 6 people. Upon arrival we were told that they couldn’t make food orders (after they took our orders and our money) because there were too many of us. Made us feel like we were an inconvenience.

I hope my experience is just the result of someone having a bad Monday, but I had to ask for my order twice, only being actioned after I mentioned it... Then it came out a little more well done than I'd like. Otherwise, friendly service and a nice little bar. Just a poor first experience.

Brilliant spot for an afternoon drink. Great atmosphere and plenty of options to choose from.

Excellent local craft beer and cocktail bar serving delicious burgers. <br/><br/>With six craft beer taps and a great bottle/can list you can find a beer for any taste. If you are unsure, just ask the staff. <br/><br/>Not a beer drinker, no problem, plenty of cocktails and wine on offer. They have a great selection of local spirits as well. <br/><br/>Food wise, the ‘Mac Daddy’ burger is an personal favorite. If you don’t want a burger, they have pizza from the local favorite ‘Marilynas’. <br/><br/>Definitely recommended for a friendly and delicious night out.

Popular place for a cocktail and other kind of drinks. I will love to spend my weekend with friends in this bar, feel home and relax. Their chips is very crispy and goes well with their drinks

Good bar for a drink or two although it's very noise. Food isn't great - there isn't a kitchen here so that says a lot. Coleslaw which came with the pulled pork was tasteless and still had that bitterness from red cabbage. Beef burger meat was not throughly cooked through again not a great kitchen its at the front of the bar!

Took over 20 minutes to make 2 cocktails. I saw the bar man serve 5 other customers and he only started to make the cocktails after i asked him whats happening.<br/>The place is under new management but the service is still slow. Very disappointing.

First time at The Cotton Thief and it's certainly my new favorite small bar in the Neutral Bay Area.<br/>Unlike other small bars nearby, which play loud music and are generally a bit over the top and tailored only to hipsters or are full of bar flies, The Cotton Thief tones it down fractionally in terms of decor and music which creates a great balance of fun and relaxation, but more importantly these guys really deliver with personalized, friendly service.<br/>Upon being seated we were offered complimentary popcorn and table water and the bar tender guided us through their new 4 step, build your own, cocktail menu ($15each).<br/>The drinks were delicious but a touch pricey. <br/>I'd highly recommend this bar as a good evening spot to wind down with friends over a drink.<br/>

Great place. Went here with my wife and two friends. Sceptical about ordering dinner at a bar but was blown away with the quality of the food. Unbelieavable what the chef is doing in such a small space. Had such a good time we skipped the movie up the road and had a few delicious after dinner cocktails!

Yes! This place is fantastic! Always our first choice in the area. They just launched a new food menu and it is truly amazing what the chef can do in such a limited space. The braised pork belly and the half spatchcock were winners and the freshly shucked oysters were super fresh, creamy and plump! But be sure to save room for dessert!

The Cotton Thief is a small bar situated along military road up in Cremorne. It self describes as a convinct small bar and its intimate one with a great craft beer selection and nice wine selection. They also make pizzas and a bit of a varied fun cheap eat at $5 eats to draw you in (Check out their instagram for the scoop) Dave Brown and Luke Langton are running a pozible campaign for Isos Vodka - an organic, australian vodka you can drink neat (at room temp at that). Street side, The cotton thief. Inside, you have suspended ladders, hanging lamps, nice intimate lighting and them ubiqutous tolix chairs. Note: Pizzas a big deal here at the Cotton Thief. Gotta love that the “diagram” is actual sized. ISOS Vodka is made from 100% organic Australian wheat, sourced from the New England region of NSW. It is distilled nine times, filtered 5 times and uses rainwater collected onsite at the distillery to produce a remarkably pure spirit. So here’s Isos Vodla in its 700ml bottle. As mentioned. D

Great NYC like bar In Sydney (Cremorne)! A rare find. Review from a native New Yorker. #Sydneybar. We held our 40th birthday party on Halloween. It was a Halloween birthday party. We hired out the bar. The bar itself is amazing; small, initimate, great food, great cocktails! The price was very reasonable. The decor and vibe is just like bars in LES (lower east side) or alphabet city in NYC. As a native new yorker, I find it hard to find those type of bars in Sydney. So this a very rare fine. The service is amazing. I have booked many functions for both personal and corporate events and I was very impressed with the quality of communication and service. Dave who manages it all is excellent! He follows up on my myriad of emails and is very relaxed about it all! I will def be going back with friends and will most likely book another function there. I highly recommend to anyone who is looking for either a night out or a function with initmacy, style and soul - not to mention great food and drinks! #greatbarSydney

A little bit of NY in Cremorne. I wish readers would pay attention to the bad reviews and stay away - then we would have this little gem all to ourselves! <br/>A great spot for a pre-dinner drink or a nightcap after the movies. <br/>Terrific atmosphere, not too noisy and obliging bartenders who will make you a cocktail even if it isn't on the menu. Impressive.

Genuine, fun and local find. My girlfriend and I have been a few times now. Always reliable, friendly service. We love its authenticity and personal touch. It's a real, friendly, genuine wine bar. Not a wine bar trying to be something else (like so many these days). Always a great drop on offer and they know their wines too. Last time we had the recommended Pinot with Pizzettes to eat. Great together. The pork meatballs are a treat as well. I'm also impressed with the variety of international beers available (again so many wine bars fall down in this area). Had a couple of great Italian brews recently. We'll be back soon.

Well worth a visit!. VINOBRAVO is a great small (wine) bar in the heart of Cremorne. They've got an excellent selection of quality local and imported wines (very reasonably priced from $8.50 a glass or $38 a bottle), a wide variety of cocktails (with $10 Sunday specials), and a nice array of tasty, tapas style snacks. Take a seat at the bar and chat to the friendly/knowledgable staff, or hide away down the back at an intimate table or comfy upholstered chair. VINOBRAVO covers all bases!

Great staff & always a good time. Our local favourite!

Don't Go. This place needs a lesson in customer service 101. <br/><br/>Don't bother - there are plenty of other options in the area that deserve your time and hard earned money more!

Bravo bravo. What a great little find! We were thrilled to find this place in the normally pedestrian and slightly boring environs of Military Road. We had some wonderful service, delicious fish and meat platters and enjoyed some good and not too loud music. Wine was yummy!. Already planning to have my partners birthday bash here.

Simple. Just loved this place. We were promised quick service as we had a movie to catch down the road. We were served promptly, ordered a pizza that was so lovely. Two cocktails later and we were happy semi-full little vegemites. I loved the lay-out, the staff were cool and a place I will love to return to sooner rather than later. Not bad price wise either.

Drinks way too expensive and that's just the beer.

Grazie tanto Vinobravo. A stylish wine bar that stays open till midnight in Cremorne.<br/>The bar is welcoming and lively, with a touch of black and chrome edge. The staff are fresh, friendly and know the menu.<br/>I have only visited before and after the movies and have enjoyed some of the Italian wines which are reasonably priced, but next time I will go for the Italian cocktails, maybe a Bellini or negroni with some of the Italian bar food. <br/>I might even get off the bus early after work to catch the Vinobravo Happy Hour-does it get any wilder than that in Cremorne!

Fabulous. Gorgeous little wine bar right amongst it in cremorne. We sat sipping cocktails by the open window watching the passers by after work, just fabulous. The meatballs tasting plate was so delish, and also had some giant olives- amazing. An absolute find - have been there twice now, and already planning to take the girls back.

Nothing too pretentious, just good quality Italian wine (and beer I might add) in a relaxed environment, and very convenient location just opposite the Cremourne Hotel. Toilets are a little confusing though, not that that would prevent me going back. I recommend.

Great after the movies. Have you ever been to the movies at the Orpheum and thought ... what now? This is the place to head ... great share plates and a cool atmosphere. We will be back.

Unimpressive customer service. minimal atmosphere on a saturday night. waitstaff seem inexperienced, not someone you can look to for a knowledgeable wine recommendation. big shame
