Review Miyako Sushiya - Cremorne

Best service, food & takeaway in all the land Very community focused owners who throw in the odd freebie and go out of their way to make customers welcome; including patrons' dogs! Picture is of their Number 1 fan, Finn - they made his last visit one of the best of his life. (He absolutely loves the staff & their special treats for regulars.)

Hubby bought the bento box from here. I was surprised by the price. The salmon bento box is over $30. The menu says plain udon is $12, which is usually $6. Udon with any toppings is nearly $20. Compared to the high price, the food is average, don’t think it’s worthwhile. Was hoping to make it a regular place to go but guess not.

Most delicious sushi in Cremorne! Great bento boxes and udon bowls. The service is so friendly and efficient! Everything is so fresh and yummy!

This is an absolutely delightful little "restaurant". It is really predominantly a take-away place but it does have 2 tables, one outside and one inside. We didn't know what to expect when we booked (and if you want to eat there you must book!) but we had a wonderful experience. The food we had was fabulous. Very fresh and beautifully cooked. The hard working couple that run the place are also very charming. Made us feel very welcome. We will certainly be going there again.

I wasn't expecting much from this place when I walked in-- the place is small and looks a bit run-down. However the staff were very friendly, and when I got my food, I was pleasantly surprised to find it was BEYOND delicious. I regularly eat Japanese and I've been slowly working my way through all the Japanese restaurants and cafes in the Mosman/Cremorne/Neutral Bay area, and I have to say, the food here can compete with the best. Some of the food (notably the specials) could be described more as fusion than as traditional Japanese-- the chef has definitely put his own signature on them. But they're still great! A unique and tasty spin on old favourites. Will definitely go here again!

Food quality was excellent. Separated noodles from soup. Bento and Sushi portions generous. Even the soy fish are bigger.

Without a doubt the very best sushi available in town. So fresh, delicate and sweet meals. Love the miso soup! Staff is very, very friendly and loving. Definitely worth a try.

Had a chicken teriyaki don. Unfortunately it was inedible very disappointing the chicken was full of fat and appeared to have been peppered. It was unlike any I have eaten before I recommend the chef eat at any Japanese restaurant and amend their recipe ASAP
