Review Summer Salt - Cronulla

I attended a birthday lunch here and everything was amazing! My partner and I tried each other's meals as a little taste test and every dish was simply delicious. The view alone is worth the visit! Would love to try this again in the future.

Good food, great service. What I like about Summer Salt is how they put their own twist on traditional seafood dishes, plus others. It's always worth checking their menu regularly as they change it up and keep it fresh. Plenty of accessible parking with accessible entrance. Hot and Cold Seafood platter, a 10/10 yum!

Window seatings have spectacular views of of the beach. Service was pretty good and staff were quite friendly. Food was delicious although it was on the pricey side.

Really the best fine dining that we've experienced in the Shire. We have the scollops and ravioli for entree, both were lovely. The duck & seafood curry were amazing for main. Dessert was the only let down.. the soufle tasted like scrambled eggs .. I still gave a 5 star overall, as the rest of the food was amazing - I just wouldn't order the soufle again.

I can in with big expectations and all I have to say is WOW! The service, the food, the location - WOW! We were served fast, with no problems. I had two of the mignonette oysters and two of the kilpatrick style oysters to start, my friends had the Wellington / more oysters. The oysters were great, a little small, but very yummy. For mains I had the Pork, it was cooked to perfection with the cracking PERFECT. Before our main a table at the window left, presumably with no more bookings after (we had a late session and were sitting in the middle), the waitress came over and asked if we’d prefer the window.... YES! What great service, I really appreciated them going to the effort of moving us and our drinks to accomodate a slightly better table! 10/10! Will definitely note this as one of the restaurants to be at for future celebrations!

One of the best restaurants we’ve ever been to. Fantastic fresh food, cooked to perfection. Amazing service and the views to the beach are just beautiful. We’ll be coming back here again! We had the John Dory, Seared Scallops and Soufflé. Delicious!

Quite good food and great cocktails, highly recommend “for the love of lychee” All the meals came out really quickly, too quickly actually to enjoy yourself properly.

This is a quality restaurant with stunning views across the beach. The staff are attentive but not overwhelming. The food really is exceptional in both presentation and flavor. Price is commensurate with quality so don’t be surprised at spending a few dollars. There are few top quality restaurants in the Shire that can match some of the city’s top end restaurants but this is definitely one of them.

Loving the current gluten free and lactose free menu Summersalt! Keep up the good work ! It’s nice when restaurants put the effort in either creating a separate menu and/or providing delicious alternatives instead of just ‘removing the gluten or dairy items’ and I end up with boring food on a plate! The beetroot lamb is delicious! Just wish the desserts were available �

Beautiful place, absolutely stunning views and location, the food matches the decor in the delicious way that it melts in the mouth. Seafood is absolutely fresh and you can taste it in every bite, and the seasoning is brilliant and tasty! Overrall a great place to go to for a little bit of seaside weekend luxury!

Beautiful meal, 10/10 service and gorgeous view. Thank you for a fabulous dinner. As someone with food allergies, your staff were so very accommodating and understanding without making me feel like a hassle or the meal being anything less than absolutely delicious. Haven’t dined here for several years but will definitely be back as Summer Salt is definitely back to its amazing standard.

Took the better half here for his birthday dinner. Not only was the food fantastic, the staff was so friendly and the service was great! Highly recommend! We will be back for our next celebration!

Wonderful birthday lunch yesterday with the new seafood platter. Went beautifully with the Prosecco! Great food & friendly service. Loved it.

Had my 21st Birthday dinner over the weekend with about 25 people. The staff at Summer Salt truly went above and beyond to ensure myself and my guests had a great experience! Food was amazing, breath taking view (even at night!), service was an easy 12/10. I will be back for all occasions, date nights, and girls nights! Thanks again �

Great service, fantastic food and a stunning view. Thank you to all the staff there tonight who really went above and beyond to make us happy, moving us to a table right next to the window so we could be right next too the window once a table was free (we did not make a reservation so we were sitting a little further back) To the lovely manager for getting us some olive and these beautiful spices to dip our warm bread into, definitely getting some of that, yummy Highly recommend this restaurant 10/10 on everything!!! First time we have been and we will be back.

View is great, even if your a few tables in from the window, staff are all great, food was good too.

What a lovely evening our family had at Summer Salt for my father's 80th birthday. Great atmosphere and the food was just superb. Matt and the staff were fantastic, very attentive with great service and so obliging. Thank you Summer Salt for such a wonderful experience.

Wonderful food, beautiful staff. Fantastic view, loved being able to watch the ASRL rowing competition whilst having our lunch.

The view is what it's all about! Lovely decor but the food is just ok. My husband's steal with bernaise was to die for but the seafood is what you expect to be great! On arrival I was told " no bug today". Really? No bugs at all at the Fish markets!!!!!! The shared entre plate was average. The staff were very nice and efficient. All in all a nice experience.

The mains were almost cold The prawns were delic but then u don't need any talent to put prawns onto a plate. The view... Marvelous

I thought it was exceptional, a little pricey but well worth it. Staff were great. Welcoming and attentive without intruding. Definitely the place to be on a lovely sunny day!
