Review Nextdoor Cronulla - Cronulla

Gregory Clarke
We came here for breakfast from recommendation and it’s a cute little place. The staff were super friendly mostly female waiting staff and most of the lads were behind the bar. The venue was clean and decor was fresh and beach type of look. The windows opened up to create an open plan to outside. The breakfast itself was standard with normal Eggs Benedict nothing fancy. **Con tho is when you sit in when you order coffee you are given this small coffee Italian/Spanish coffee glass which to my taste is small underwhelming, while if you are taking away you get a larger coffee take away cup. Doesn’t make sense to me, please provide bigger coffee cups or mugs..

Very lovely staff who was very accommodating and did everything to keep us warm on a rainy and cold winter day as we were sitting outside with the dog. The food is delicious - very flavourful and put together beautifully. We ended up staying for a while and ordered tea & pastries too which were delicious and homemade. The view is amazing and despite the rain we enjoyed sitting outside. It’s more on the pricey side compared to other brunch places but that’s because of the great location I guess. Overall we were very happy 😊

Excellent choice for a late lunch. Fantastic menu choices and the best service I have had in a long time! Really enjoyed chatting with Holly & Taylor. I recommend the King Prawn Spaghettini. Lovely deserts too!

Great spot, service was fantastic which seems almost a rarity these days. Only thing I wasn’t a fan of was the romesco sauce with the burrata. But a few aperol spritz’s deep, I’d easily forgive it.

I love this place! Have been here maybe a dozen times now for breakfast. Sensational food that's always really delicious and great coffee that's consistently satisfying. I don't think I've even once had something I haven't really enjoyed. And the staff are super friendly and efficient. It's just a pleasure to dine here with friends and enjoy an early morning outing by the sea.

Great menu and the food was fantastic. The wait for a table wasn't too long despite being busy, and service was on point

Their drinks and brunch menus are not bad. Nothing too special about this spot but this place becomes a cool place when the weather is nice. Nice breeze, cool vibe, chilled drinks and comfortable foods. Located next to the beach and has holiday vibe thanks to palm trees. Their staff seem a bit exhausted and their attitude is cynical. I would still go back for chill if the weather is good, but wouldn’t recommend to visitors, but locals.

This is what I imagine breakfast in heaven is like. Lovely staff, immaculately presented food and plenty of seating. Do yourself a favour and get the waffles. 😍😍😍
Snapshots Of Food
Next Door Cronulla is a fun and fresh eatery, blurring the lines between cafe, restaurant and bar. Next Door is quite literally 'next door' to their flagship venue, Sealevel Restaurant. You have a great view of North Cronulla beach with ceiling to floor glass windows. The customer service is excellent, everyone is always so courteous, friendly and smiling which is a great way to enjoy your brunch. The last thing you want to see is someone absolutely hating their job - which brings down my mood. It was a very busy Saturday afternoon and we waited a long time for our food to arrive. Next Door Cronulla decided to take our drink order off the bill to apologize for the long wait. That was really nice and unexpected. They were understaffed in the kitchen and being a such popular venue, it affected the food service - especially with the main chef on leave.

Came here for dinner with my husband and the kingfish sashimi and the brisket were the stand outs of our meal. Also had the squid and the salmon, which were also generous portions and flavorsome. The cocktail menu is impressive as is their spirits menu. Would recommend and will return.

Next Door is owned by Sealevel next door but provides a completely different vibe and experience. The outdoor tables still have ocean views but the inside space is narrow & long with a modern, trendy, Nordic feel to it. The all day brunch menu has a more "breakfast/brunch" page and a more "lunch" page, with Middle Eastern flavour accents throughout such as Dukkah, Fattoush & Falafel. The Granola with fresh fruit & yogurt was pretty to look at & refreshing to eat. The poached eggs with falafel, tabbouli, eggplant, labnah, olives & sumac sounded delicious & everything was good except for the poached eggs which was disappointingly almost hard boiled.

The fattoush salad with burrata was delicious. Light yet flavoursome & the creamy stretchy burrata cheese was a hit. The beef burger was a good little number, not too big but with all the classic tastes. The accompanying waffle fries were fun as well as crunchy & well seasoned.

I love the coffee here. Its strong & aromatic, not bitter. They use proper, fresh almond milk as well as macadamia milk - both make for super tasty, nutty yet creamy coffees.

With its great views & vibes, friendly staff, a good menu offering lots of choices, it is a lovely spot to enjoy your day.

Was super busy on a Sunday morning but we still snagged a table in the back corner. This is a pretty cool all day brunch menu - and all the dishes came out presented really well. My favourite was the waffle, and the creme caramel was nice but the cheeseburger was just very basic. Needed bacon or some spice.

One of my new favourite places in the Shire!
My maple pork panini was absolutely beautiful, could not fault any of it. The staff were friendly, attentive and their recommendations (the Penny cocktail in particular) was pretty much lifechanging on a scorcher of a day.
You should totally smash on over there.. your tastebuds deserve it 👍

Love the newest kid on the Cronulla block. Fit out it is kinda like Blackwood Pantry who I also love, that skandi light wood with pastels and greenery. Coffee is by Will & Co which is decent enough. Hubs has declared the cured salmon as the best he has eaten. The food I have had so far here is really good which surprised me because it is owned by Sealevel next door (hence the name) whose breakfast is only just ok (their seafood and lunch/dinner is great though), different kitchen and chefs no doubt is why Next Doors breakfast is superior. I love the music they play here too and would love to have a copy of the playlist.
