Review Grind Espresso - Cronulla

An original on the Cronulla coffee scene. If you love an authentic coffee experience this is the place. 'I'd still rather be at Grind' ...it does come at a premium but good things prepared well do take a bit of extra effort... it can get busy and a bit of patience may be in order.

Product is good but they don’t take keep cups. Their excuse last year was due to COVID…but now they’re left without one and show no desire to change. Their takeaway cups aren’t recyclable bio cups which shows that these guys just don’t really care about the environment…

Best coffee in the Shire! Once you try it you'll never look back. Staff are always friendly and remember your name. Other cafes just don't compare!

When I discovered this place a few years ago the coffee was great! I remember one of the baristas took the time out to make me a nice geisha blend (filtered) coffee and it was amazing! The place had a great vibe and friendly staff. Seemed like a nice local cafe where the staff new the locals that came. It's tucked away in a quiet alley way where you are away from the hustle and bustle of people passing by. I rarely get to Cronulla, but when I do I always make an effort to get my coffee from this place. Unfortunately my last visit was quite disappointing. I ordered a single origin long black (which was from Rwanda). I'm not sure what happened, but the coffee was unpalatable. As soon as I saw the coffee I knew something wasn't right. As you can see from the photo, what is supposed be a smooth layer of creamy crema was replaced with a layer of some kind of ghastly "froth" I give them 3 stars because, the staff were nice, and the vibe is still nice. Perhaps I should have taken it back and asked them to make me another one?

Grind is an institution. A great place with best coffee, staff and food. At times too busy, but that is great for them! 😁

Grind is one of many amazing coffee shops in Cronulla. To be honest I believe Grind established Cronulla as a coffee haven. There is minimal food but that's generally how you know where its focus is. If your after great tasting coffee with a funky vibe then this is your place. There are a ton more great coffee shops in Cronulla but for me the coffee bean flavour here is on point.

Great service, pleasant atmosphere and the best coffee around. Highly recommended.

Our favourite cronulla coffee place. Latte or flat white, expresso or hot chocolate are all so good.
