The staff here were great and the menu is decent for a vegetarian/vegan restaurant. The venue itself is well presented with a lovely airy feel and a nice view too. The food was pretty good too (brekkie burger) for a cafe however the bread roll was tasteless and really let the meal down. Would recommend the sweet potato fries. They were delicious.

Nice light and sunny atmosphere. Staff so-so in friendliness but they are clearly busy and trying to be efficient! The corn fritters are AMAZING! Coffee also yummy :) Good for a catch up with a friend or maybe up to 4 people.

Great to have a vegetarian and vegan cafe, great vibes on this cafe, the atmosphere is relaxed and the coffee was good.😋 There is an outdoor courtyard where your dogs are welcome, always love a cafe that you can take.your dogs to 👍🏻🐶

I entered this establishment on a busy Sunday morning for brunch. Despite the hustle and bustle of the place, I was warmly greeted by the staff member on the cash machine. Nothing was too much trouble as I requested to change the avocado to haloumi. This was done at no extra cost. Which I appreciated and thought was a generous thing to do. Despite how busy they were, my coffee and breakfast (The Breakfast Burger) was still made with love and care at a high standard. Lovely staff and food and the all important coffee were of a high standard. Keep up the great work team!

It is a popular Cafe with plenty of choices on their menu. Food we have ordered were pretty delicious, staff were friendly and a accommodating for our request for the seating. There was not much of a wait for the the food after ordering although four of us ordered in as couples one couple had to wait extra time. Overall, a good spot to have something to eat plus if you have a good seating then can enjoy the water views..

Experienced the original Pilgrims in Milton in the eighties so was hoping this wouldn't disappoint and it didn't!! Tasty, wholesome food, portion sizes on the large side and reasonable prices all served by helpful and happy staff in a relaxed setting! Great venue to refuel after surf, swim or exercise.

The best breakfasts I have ever eaten #So Good. The staff welcoming making you feel special, and who can beat the elevated view of south Cronulla. I been several times for an evening trade, the Vego/vegan Mexican nights with fresh Sangria is unreal and is such good value money (although I have missed out because I didn't book). I feel so lucky to live south of the boarder!

Had lunch at this fabulous place yesterday with friends and it was so delicious- can def recommend the corn fritters - yum!! My daughter (7) had managed to get a thorn stuck in her foot outside and was in quite a lot of pain, the staff couldn't have been lovelier and all tried to help bringing out tweezers, antiseptic sprays etc and even a brownie to make her feel better. She was rather noisy but it didn't seem to be a problem, everyone just felt for her. So whilst the food was delicious and we'll def be back, the lovely staff really made it great!! Thank you! � �

Actually I visited their Corrimal branch (new) but because it’s not listed on Zomato yet so i wrote in here. Pilgrim’s basically is vegan based cafe. I had mix grain burger with satay sauce and taste good. The mix grain patty remind me of tempeh (fermented soy bean that common on mostly Indonesian food). Since it was vegan so my buns also not fluffy as usual, seems like they not even using eggs or yeast for the buns. Hubby just had vegan version of anzac biscuit and coffee

Lovely little location with cute decor and a friendly atmosphere. Staff were very nice and the food was delicious. I got wrap #2 and oh my I could barely finish it! Big portions that pack a punch of flavour !!

As a big meat eater, this was great for something a bit different. <br/>Went with the halloumi stack and wasn’t disappointed. Can’t go wrong with halloumi. <br/><br/>Portion size was big and staff were friendly. Service was efficient.

Breakfast with the gals while visiting. I like that you can order and pay individually, takes the fuss out of sorting the bill. Coffee was smooth and massive plus I love the vegetarian menu full of lots of yummy food!!! Will return when I’m back in the area!

Went on a pilgrimage here on a Saturday morning. <br/>The window views of the beach really make the ambience. The staff were super friendly and the wait wasn't too long although busy. Unfortunately I ordered the wrong meal off the menu. The pancakes were awful- I completely missed the yogurt addition of it while reading the menu. However I tried the other breakfast options and they were perfect! Generous servings for a good price!

Food here wasn't too bad.<br/>If you're looking for something healthy, this is definitely the place to go, not to mention if you have veggo friends.<br/>Not too far a walk from the station so is easy to get to.

Even though I’m not vegetarian there’s plenty of options for everyone and the vegetarian meals are delicious anyway. Got myself a fresh juice as well which was delicious. Great atmosphere and location.

I've heard many great things about Pilgrims's lately, so finally decided to check it out for myself. Gorgeous atmosphere with a pretty good view of the beach. Fast and friendly service and the food was delicious. The corn fritters were very filling and well priced for the amount of food served, and the scrambled eggs equally as tasty. Can definitely say that I will be visiting again!

Pilgrim’s is a vegan cafe in Cronulla which sits on the first level of 97 Gerrale Street. The rustic cafe overlooks the picturesque Cronulla Beach and Bate Bay.<br/><br/>I started my day with a flat white. The soy flat white was served scalding hot and the higher proportion of soy than espresso makes it resemble more like a latte.<br/><br/>The spinach pie was poor too. The pie, which was reheated numerous times, had a dry and hard crust. There was nothing conclusive to suggest that fresh and crunchy spinach was added to the pie. The result was a bland and indistinguishable pie<br/><br/>The corn fritters topped with rocket, was excessively fried and became charred and hard. The prepacked corn lacked natural sweetness and the fritters tasted more of the batter. <br/>

Beautiful cafe and great to see a separate vegan menu. However, when ordering off the vegan menu I received a salad with cheese on top which was disappointing...the lady took it back but it was just scraped off the top as I found cheese pieces throughout the salad...not what I expected from a vegetarian cafe explicitly catering for vegan as well and made me quite upset. That being said, the food is tasty!

A vegetarian cafe not far from Coogee beach. The entrance is nothing to look at but upstairs is bright and well set out. Take a seat where you can and order at the counter. The coffees took a while to come out but they were delicious. Obviously all the menu items are vegetarian but for breakfast it's perfect! The granola was a huge serving and the sourdough with avo, pesto and mushrooms was tasty. Check it out if you are in the area.

Really good! Great food, great atmosphere and great coffee. Low key, no pretense and very worthwhile. If you like a vegetarian option every so often, then this is the place.

o my god!!!! hey guys, today i went to pilgrims vegetarian cafe in cronulla and my god it was amazing! i ordered the "haloumi stack" for only $16 and my friend ordered the corn fritters. both tastes amazing. served in under 20 minutes of being ordered. the staff were very friendly and greeted us when entering the store. great view of cronulla, and the atmosphere of the cafe was great! definitely would recommend for healthy eating and tasty food - TF

Cruisy and popular vegetarian cafe above street level in Cronulla, not far from the beach. Great friendly vibe with plenty of options to choose from. We were there for breakfast and had the buttermilk pancakes with the lot, scrambled eggs with a side of house-made baked beans, and a mixed berry smoothie. The portions were man-size, great for two hungry surfers. The pancakes sweet and delicious with generous sides of banana, yoghurt, and maple syrup (they also threw in honey on our request). The scrambled eggs were light and fluffy, and the house-made baked beans were an absolute highlight. They're surprisingly hard to do well yourself - they take time and devotion, but the results are above and beyond anything made in a factory that comes in a can. Well worth it. The mixed berry smoothie was sweet and refreshing without being overpowering.  My only gripe is that there wasn't a choice of bread - it was white sourdough or white sourdough. Otherwise - when working up an appetite in the nearby surf, make sure Pilgrim's is on your list.

I absolutely adore this cafe - certainly one of my favourites! The food is wonderful and portion sizes are very generous. Service is very quick and staff are very friendly. The beach views are lovely. Can get a bit loud sometimes but only at peak times. Such a lovely little cafe!

What an amazing restaurant. The burger was brilliant and had a lovely, sweet sauce. The chocolate fudge brownie was sweet but could have done with some darkness. Overall, it was one of the best cafes we have been to.

Awesome spot with plenty of parking options close by. A busy and noisy but upbeat cafe with great beach views if you're lucky enough to score a table by the window. Quick service with fresh tasty produce. So glad I got to try this place for lunch and will definitely be back!

All meals came out fresh and plentiful and kept the whole family going all day, even for two teenage boys that had reservations about a vege cafe! ....casual atmosphere was perfect for a Sunday brunch. <br/>

Had no idea what to order at first in a vegetarian cafe, then I ended up with a Bliss Burger for $12. I wasn't rushed by the cashier despite holding up the queue. My first bite gave an explosion of flavours and texture that make you forget it's a veggie burger. I gave it a 5 because you don't always get a healthy burger when eating out, but this is both healthy and yummy down to the last bite.

Fantastic breakfast - vegetarian or not! The coffee is great too. Today had the toasted mushrooms on sourdough toast with an egg added. The flavour packed into each & everyone of those mushrooms pieces was quite impressive. Annoyed at myself that I dived in and forgot to take photo! Times past we've had the shakes which are amazingly filling but fantastic.

I could not resist climbing up the multi-leveled but short stairway again to Pilgrim's on a sunny weekend.  We did not expect to be in Nulla Nulla but initially did not raise our hopes of finding even a car parking spot. <br/><br/>Then we did find a beaut parking spot not far from pilgrim's.  Voila.  I had a Espresso shake only as I just not long before had breakfast.  I saw my mate's grilled Houlami slices with a deep fried egg and toast - yummy yummy.  The latter was not over the top and the long haired blonde guy delivered our orders fast, lovely.

I recently went here with my vegetarian sister and it was fantastic. We both had burgers and they were tasty and huge! We had the kids and they enjoyed their milkshakes. I can't wait to go back for breakfast!

Can strictly vegetarian food be yummy, exciting and healthy at the same time?   The broad answer is perhaps - and it does depend on the preparer and the ingredients offered.  Hummus, beetroot, Taboulleh, Mayonaisse, mushroom, roast herb potato and Southern Highlands NSW free range eggs.   These are used by the Pilgrim's Vegetarian Cafe to add taste, offer diversity, uplift texture and provide passion to the vegetarian space.  Unlike East Asian veg cooking, which can be deep fried, or Indian, which utilises much yoghurt, modern Australian versions emphasise of freshness, rawness and use of tasty mixes.  Throw in fit looking and energetic customers,  walk the talk, talk the walk and that is the vibe one may get at Pilgrim's.  Walk up the stairs from street level and you come into a bright space with vistas of what can be.People look relaxed at Pilgrim's here, with lots of group chatter or individuals doing personal down time with or without their smart devices.   The Cronulla cafe on the first floor offers panoramic views and spacious (though no outdoor) seating.  The business has been around for 36 years and seen all the trends in veg eating.

I've been here a few times and I've been impressed everytime. I had the millinium burger which is packed full of fresh ingredients and leaves an empty stomach more than content. The coffee was good.<br/>Mum is coeliac and they could easily cater for gluten free options without hassle.

One of my favorite places in Cronulla, Vegetarian food at its best! I've been here a few times and it's been great every time, fresh and healthy food in a cute and comfortable spot by Cronulla beach. Highly recommend the acai bowl and halloumi stack, incredible!

Breakfast is delicious with a wide variety to choose from. Ranging from $8 - $22 per meal! Juices are pretty expensive for what you get although I always see one on every table, so they must be good! <br/>Bit of a noisy place although the atmosphere is vibrant. <br/>Would recommended a visit!!

Pilgrims Vegetarian Cafe - Don't be discouraged by the fact that there's no meat served at this cafe. <br/><br/>Surprisingly the food here has a lot of flavour - we got the Halloumi Stack, Pancakes and Corn Fritters. They are so generous with the amount of food served on the plate and the food is extremely flavoursome. <br/><br/>A variety of juices and all day breakfast on offer. The atmosphere & service here is really good! Can't wait to to come back and try their Acai Bowl and Burgers 😋

Love this place for mexican dinner have tried lots of different dishes and they are all delish! Have also been for breakfast and it is just as great!

There's scrambled eggs, and then there's Pilgrim's scrambled eggs.<br/>Pilgrim's has an epic menu, filled with nothing but tasty foods and drinks. Don't be discouraged by the vegetarian label, Pilgrim's packs some serious flavour. <br/>Each day is better with a visit here! The coffee is good too.

Great location, so bright and warm and welcoming. Interesting menu with great options, even if you're not vegetarian, like myself. So cheap as well! The only thing would be that the service is not always fantastic; last time I was there the lady who served me was quite rude. But other than that great experience.

The dinner is all Mexican, all vegetarian and all delicious. My burrito bowl $18 was generous abs tasty. Dinner guests had the enchilada and soft tacos. So good. At $12 the cocktails are great value. Well worth a visit. Don't think, just go! But go hungry, skip lunch or you will be in a good coma as the portions are big, just how I like them 😋<br/><br/>24/04/2017 - coffee 2/5<br/>Went here for a take away coffee today. For coffee lovers step away from the coffee...repeat step away! Ergh. $4 for a regular that was simply hot milk. My coffee buddy agreed. We both sipped...looked at each other....were in dismay. Not good. So disappointed as I love everything else about Pilgrim's but weak coffee at $4 a pop is unacceptable.

The menu at Pilgrims is fresh and light – I’m very keen to head back and try a burger for lunch or Mexican for dinner. Arrriba!

Loved this place! Went in a group of five for dinner last night - We were not disappointed!! Such delicious, fresh and tasty food! Three of our party aren't Vegetarian and they still raved about it. BYO too - bonus! Definitely worth a revisit next time we're over in NSW.

Best scrambled eggs in the World.. Literally. The scrambled eggs here, are amazing. Get a side of mushrooms, and then enjoy the ride to heaven.<br/>Pilgrims is the Bee's knees (not sure if Bees have knees, oh well).<br/>Brekkie burgers are great, pancakes are too. The lunch menu is something I'm yet to dive into yet, but along with their new Mexican Fri/ Sat nights, 2015 is surely going to taste epic!

Cool place. This is the first time i intentionally went to a vego place and i was very impressed. i used to be a butcher so you can see how a place like this goes against everything i believe in but, not bad, not bad at all.<br/>we both went for the granola and it was delicious. had a tea and a coffee with that, both were great especially the tea. asked for a STRONG irish tea and they delivered. some cafes really cant get their head around how to make strong tea but not Pilgrim's.<br/>will be back.

Finially got to visit the much hyped pilgrims in cronulla.. And it lived up to its reputation. Such a great atmosphere, effortlessly cool, big open windows looking out to cronulla beach, friendly staff and most importantly the food was amazing, the kind of delicious, healthy, fresh food you could every day. Can't wait to go back!

Well, if you are familiar with Pilgrims you would know they have two other shops, an amazing one at Milton on the South Coast is the most popular.<br/>We've eaten there quite often so were surprised when they opened in The Shire.<br/>Sadly...it aint the same.<br/>Firstly: they are trying to keep the same opening hours of their south coast shop, shutting at 3pm!<br/>OK, fair enough down south, everything shuts early...however here in The Shire we locals go out to eat a damn LOT...thats how we roll.<br/>Shutting at 3pm means every working person can't partake...and anyone who knows anything KNOWS The Shire is alive for evening eating!<br/>Well, that aside lets get to the food...all sounds delish, and it IS...except if you HAVE tried Milton then you would know the taste isn't there.<br/>In fact one of the tried and true burgers, the Bliss Burger, is a fave, but we had to ask for some sauce as it was lacking taste...its normally satay but it had gone west.<br/>My daughter summed it up... swank sank...and although the decor is nice it aint like their flagship shops.<br/>Shame really, we have been waiting for something like this for ages.

Delicious Burgers. Have been a fan of the Pilgrims in Milton for many years so was eager to try the new one in Cronulla. And I can say that the new one does not at all disappoint. Food is healthy and delicious. The peanut sauce on the bliss burger is amazing, and I had a black rock juice which was really refreshing. Customer service is friendly and efficient and the view over the beach is amazing. Will be back in there the first chance i get)))))) Highly recommended!!!<br/>Paul

Came here for breakfast the other day and ordered the golfie juice and a breakfast burger. The burger was delicious and the service quite quick. The restaurant is situated above a laundromat and has a birds eye view of Cronulla's Gerrale St. Will definitely be back to try out more of the menu.
