Great friendly staff and spectacular views complete a lovely dining experience. The variety of tapas is delicous and the drinks menu will suit most tastes.... all at very reasonable price, in an area filled with overpriced tourist traps. Highly recommended.

I went with my friend and she complained the food was too spicy. I found it fine, but I think I can handle chilli much better than some people. (I have an ethnic background and she's Anglo... so depends on what foods you've had before be prepared if you hardly had spicy, this may be too spicy)
Located literally a stones throw from Cronulla beach, this funky relaxing restaurant is a great place to chill out and enjoy watching the people go by whist snacking on tapas and sipping a cold beverage.
We weren't too hungry so ordered the $25 pp tapas. Fantastic sample of flavours and textures to keep you looking forward to the next dish.
Unfortunately, the buffalo wings and the chorizo are way too spicy, and I was unable to eat any so beware. Mentioning this did not help in substituting item for something milder. Very disappointed.
Otherwise I would recommend. Rating of 4/5, due to the inflexiblity of replacing spicy food.
Nice little place situated close to the beach with a great view if you sit outside. We had the $35 special where you get to try a little of everything, was very well presented and the food was great. Very basic decor and the service was good, however that would be expected when we were the only ones there for there for at least an hour. Would defiantely go here again with friend's for a nice quiet catch up and some good food.
Took my mother in law here for her birthday and we had the $35 set menu. The food was excellent and we enjoyed a jug of sangria as well. I'd definitely go back here but possibly not for a special occasion simply because the decor could do with an update and get yourself plates/cutlery ruined it a little.
Always a winner! Get the banquet and you won't be disappointed. I love the squid and green bean dishes. They make great cocktails and the sangria is a must try. Always helpful and friendly staff.
Great food, set menus are awesome value! Always something a bit different on the menu, and also a great selection of drinks. Staff are pretty friendly. The only thing is that it is a bit annoying having to go up to the bar to order, and you have to get your own cutlery etc. But it is nice that you have to option to pay later if you think you might order more.
Great value banquets, Incredible location and the staff are always friendly and accommodating.
Not exactly true spanish tapas, more on the modern australian side, either way the food is always delicious!
Good spot for a catch up with friends.
It does get quite busy, booking is highly recomended.
10/10 - we go here once a month and will keep going until it closes (God forbid) There's consistent friendly service, food is always delicious with new things to try, the banquet is excellent value. Sangria is ok, but the wine and beer list is good enough for the fussiest sommelier. Not your traditional tapas menu but more than compensates with the number of options, portion sizes and value.
Incredible value. Tasty food. Nice spot along cronulla. Came for a bday lunch of about 10 ppl, and i have to say that the price for the amount as well as the variety of food that you get cant be beat. Love the fact that its $25 set menu and then order you drinks/cocktails/ at the bar, and pay your own tab whihc makes it much easier for large groups and no fuss when splitting the bill.
The food was quite good, i would say more it was more mod oz than spanish but everything they had i enjoyed more or less. Dont expect to be blown away by the food, it was just a great atmosphere, tasty bites and wonderful service.
Was introduced to this eclectic little place on the beach at Cronulla by a local. The view was amazing! The food was simple, tasty and plentiful. They don't do table service, which is great as you aren't hounded by over attentive staff. For newbies like me, they took the time to explain the menu when we sat down which I found to be a nice touch. Would highly recommend. Can see this place being the place to be on a sunny Sunday afternoon.
Reasonably priced, food was okay and the view obviously is worth the price alone. I would head back here again.
Arrived early evening which was lucky as they were booked out later. Went for the $25 set menu tapas. Of the 10 courses more than half of them were hits. The calamari, green beans & walnuts and the tomato & olive arancini were standouts. Would definitely recommend skipping lunch beforehand as the servings are overly generous. Can't wait to go back with a larger group to make a night of it. I personally loved the decor too.
A cheap, fun meal with friends. Tonnes of food in the $35 banquet. Pretty good food; really liked the squid and the skewers.
Great food and location!. I regularly visit Splash Tapas Bar for the cheap, casual and tasty food. It has a great environment, good for both meat eaters, and myself a vego and the bill is always ridiculously cheaper than you would imagine! Highly reccommend if you are eating in the Sutherland Shire, or for something different!
Splash tapas`. Stumbled onto this one by accident as we were coming from Newtown to head to the beach. cosy, ecclectic atmosphere with a chilled out edge. great cocktails and there jugs of sangria and something called Luch Crush were just that Lush -- even the boys liked it. Had the $25 set menu for i think 12 dishes, heaps of food it juts kept coming! simple, tasty and it all worked together - Haloumi would be the best if have ever had - not chewy, soft and tender... never had it like that before! We will be back Splash!
