Review Kurrabar Cafe - Cronulla

I went there during Good Friday, street filled with people it was busy but the staff are friendly. Didn't have to wait for long till the coffee and breakfast arrive even the shop was filled with people. The coffee is great, the breakfast is in big portion and I love it.

I had not looked this up before dining there. I enjoyed the burger and the chips had just been cooked. Great selection for modest prices with friendly service.

Had a magnificent Breakfast called the Full Monty $19.00 so yummy and really filling so if you love a big breakfast and finding it hard to find a good big breaky in Cronulla this is definetly the place to come! I eat out quite a lot here in Cronulla mall and sorry to say it’s gettimg quite hard to find not only good food but resenable pricing also! I have taken photos for all to see😊.The coffee is good too,I will be defiantly coming back here more often! Oh I forgot to add the service is quick also.

My wife and I have dined here a number of times both with family and friends. Food and service are both excellent. Kurrabar is really well located near the movies and is pleasant and quiet. Prices are very reasonable as was the price for a glass of wine. Nice people and a lovely cafe I’ve recommended to others.

Food was tasty and portions very generous - probably three times larger than needed. Service was excellent even though we were dining through a coupon deal site so they were not receiving nowhere near the $s they normally charge. Still treated us as if we were any other customer. Definitely will be going back

We are regulars for breakfast either after a morning beach swim or early morning whale watching. Always lovely food and service. One negative experience was one time we wanted to reserve outdoor seats for 8 adults 2 kids and 1 dog but were told they don’t do outdoor bookings.

This was a surprise. From the outside it looks insignicicant. Inside it is quite large. It has a large menu. Prices are about average. I chose Seafood Chowder - having spent time in Canada I like my chowder - it was excellent. Served hot and remained hot all the way through. Try them yourself.

Bad customer service. No greeting or smile from the waitress. No thank you when we paid. Menu looks good but food fails to deliver. Pork belly not tender and can tell not a fresh meat at all. I will not come back for sure. <br/>

Came to Cronulla for casual end to the week... we looked around for seafood due to Greek Easter.... we decided to try Kurrabar and we were blown away with the flavor! Got the sizzling seafood plate with calamari fish and veggies... outstanding, ate the whole thing and it hit the spot!!

Delicious generously proportioned meals that are very reasonable in price compared to other restaurants in the Sutherland Shire. Service good. Recommend the seafood chowder, sizzling steak, fabulous salads, sizzling seafood, scallops - actually everything on the menu is perfectly cooked and really tasty. Have been there 4 times with friends all happy to return to same venue and am now booking for a large group. Isn't flash to look at so not wonderful when it comes to ambiance but it is clean and tidy. Dine inside or out front of restaurant. Be careful not to exceed parking in the Cronulla multi level parking station - go to top where you can park for 4 hrs if you intend wandering around Cronulla before or after your meal. Outrageous fine for exceeding lower level with 2 hr limit by more than 10 mins is $112.

The menu sounds delicious but it fails to deliver. The beef burger seemed to be thrown together with all store bought ingredients (nothing seemed to be made onsite) - I have made better tasting burgers at home. The wait staff did not seem very good - they didn’t know which table was which and they didn’t bring us cutlery and napkins until after we had started eating our food.

Usually I'm the kinda gal that does my homework on where I'm going to eat out well before I get to the destination but when my usual fav had a wait on tables I was initially only really drawn to Kurrabar so I could sip my latte in the sun & people watch.<br/>Turns out sun & a caffeine kick wasn't all they had on offer. <br/>Service was friendly, attentive - no trying to attract the attention of wait staff for menus or water.<br/>Meals & coffee arrived very quickly.<br/>Menu was extensive, I had the Vegetarian Sunrise, very generous portion size & moderately priced - mushrooms & veggie patty particularly amazing.<br/>Couldn't fault it, quality sourdough bread standard is always a treat & everything cooked & favoured well - coffee also decent. <br/>Thank you will definitely return.

We ordered the chicken/peaches salad and broccocini/avocado sandwich. Both were delicious. Very generous serving sizes and reasonably priced.<br/><br/>Fast service and great coffee. Will definitely be back to try something else.

Great place for coffee. My favourite place to relax and enjoy a nice latte while reading a paper. I do enjoy BLT and chicken pesto sandwich.

Service service service. Problems with service. Got the feeling that some of them are not very committed to this restaurants future.

Don't eat here unless you are happy with people chain smoking all over you and your food the entire time and the staff not caring whatsoever
