It's a good fish and chip shop with a great selection of seafood, salads and packs as well. I do think it's slightly overpriced, but I guess location is why. It's convenient and right near the beach. I did find the service a bit meh - and the staff were just eating behind the counter while we waited for our order. I don't really want to see staff eating and packing the food simultaneously. Other than that, the food is quite nice, fish is really fresh and the chips were great.

Lovely grilled fish and octopus. We had their grilled pack which was $18.90 each and came with chips and salad. They're popular so we had to wait for like 15mins.

I have no idea what’s wrong with some of these other reviewers, I guess they don’t know amazing food when they’re eating it! 😝 I have been coming to get this fish for years it has always been fresh; hot and delicious. The service is exactly what you expect for easy going, relaxed fish and chips by the beach. Trust me, you won’t be disappointed with this place!!

Not only was the customer service unprofessional and rude my fish and chips were a disaster! I have never tasted more revolting food in my life. One bite and threw the rest in the bin. YUCK.

Wow, best fish and chips I've had since coming to Australia (from New Zealand!) and I gotta say, given that I've always been so incredibly disappointed by Aussie fish and chips compared to kiwi ones, these guys surpassed my expectations! Would 100% recommend especially since the price is pretty good

This is ‘The Cronulla Fish and Chips shop’. Have been ordering from here for over a decade (Different owners, same good food). They can get quite full at times but compared to Notaras and the other fish shop in front of the station this fish and chips place is the best.

Somehow different from other Fish 🐠 & Chips 🍟 shops. The Atlantic Salmon is tasty 😋 but not like other good shops. Distinctive. Oysters were fresh. The wait time here is reasonable given number of customers visit. I waited 12 min for $48 order. See you again.

Great fish of the day options, and very reasonable priced meals. The seafood salad is to die for with fish and chips on the side. Lovely staff, fast service.

I ordered the share pack with the plan to split between two people and it was not enough. The chips were too dry and crispy.

Ordered two pieces of grilled dory take away. Got home and were upset that the fish was overcooked and not fresh. Too late to complain as we're already home. Wouldn't go back.

What a joke and an insult for Cronulla's exceptional eatery's and this place has been here for DECADES! We ordered when they weren't busy, in fact only a couple that got there order before us. Our order of a dinner pack with an extra battered fish and battered Tasmanian scallops, came all to suspiciously quickly from the young blow in deep fry girls that were rushing around for what seemed no reason. ALL the seafood was overcooked, tough and tasteless because of it! The battered fish of the day had the unwanted fishy aroma in the mouth when you take a bite, giving a very substandard fishy flavor screaming out NOT FRESH!!!! Everything was over battered making it look large and tasty, then over cooked so the batter broke away to reveal a shriveled up piece of prawn, and absolutely destroyed piece of tough leathery Tasmanian scallop not to mention stale fish! What an insult. The calamari was nicely seasoned with garlic, but overcooked and stringy rubber like and so cooked they had shriveled to what resembled RUBBER BANDS! We did get one extra calamari, as two of them were to small to make up the third one in the pack. Anyway, we could not eat more than a few bites of what we were served and ended up resorting to the freezer for dinner.<br/>The only place to get great priced FRESH takeaway seafood from in Cronulla, is from Blue Pacific located next door to Triple Bull surf shop, located on the Kingsway, at the top of the hill to Northeys hotel.

It's a typical fish and chips shop with good battered fried fish, decent enough grilled fish and garden salads with chunks of carrot (the Miffy's love carrots!)<br/><br/>There's seating outside but the better option is to walk to the park and picnic your lunch, especially if you have doggo. <br/><br/>Nothing amazballs but good for what it is.

We were really hungry after walking on the beach and everyone wanted to have fish and chips. Quite liked the taste and size of the fish. It was pretty light on the wallet also. I would recommend a visit here for a quick lunch. We tried the fish and chips only.

Really enjoyed the seafood dinner. Batter was light and not overly oily. King prawn cutlets were true to their name in size! Calamari was crisp and tasty. Didn't have a salad but they looked really fresh on display. <br/><br/>Service was outstanding! Had to wait a fair time as it was busy but one of the cooks heard my crying, hungry impatient toddler and brought him a couple of chips to help calm him. Thank you for a heart warming, enjoyable experience!

When I venture to Cronulla we almost always get fish and chips from South Beach Seafoods, mainly for the convenience. Have tried a few different things here, including the calamari and chips, grilled squid and grilled barramundi pack. Having went on the weekend recently, it seemed as though the food has really declined. The calamari was crumbed and cooked nicely, though the barramundi was so bland! The salad had huge chunks of carrot tossed (i.e. no care was taken at all) in it with a cheap dressing poured over it. It is expensive for what it is, though as I said, in a very convenient location when in need of fish and chips on Cronulla beach.

Was down at the beach with the family so we thought we would grab some fish and chips. The shop was very busy but was able to order pretty quickly. Firstly it's not cheap but hey if the quality is there then that's ok. This unfortunately was not great . Our chips were not salted, the fish was not crisp. It was just okay. I will give it another go!

Your food is disgusting .your fish is oily, your salad is disgusting (carrots in the salad?), the premises is disgusting and dirty, you have no respect for your selves working in that environment how then can we expect you to have respect to your customers? the seating is disgusting and grubby and dirty, the floor in the outside area is disgusting .you people are not Greeks, Greek people are proud people your premises belongs in another country not in Australia .you are supposed to be serving fish and cheeps and you’re doing a terrible job .never again will I come to your shop .in the beginning it was great, what did happen?
