Review Nulla Nulla Cafe - Cronulla

Great brunch spot!! The mushroom + ricotta dish was delicious though could’ve used more tomatoes. Pancakes were a nice sweet dish too. Loved everything :)

Nice experience and great menu options! The staff were lovely and attentive, and it’s a nice location in the mall of Cronulla! Nice to sit in of a morning. Coffee was good. Avo on toast was good (but a bit too minty! Imagine the sensation of brushing your teeth and then eating breakfast straight away! However I do commend it for its originality, the seeds were a nice touch!). Been a few times and will be back.

Great food, coffee and even a nice cuppa tea in my experience hard to get a nice tea. Very clean. Our waitress absolutely lovely. Cheerful happy young lady made the visit extra special with a laugh and a smile under that mask. Just added to an enjoyable brunch thank you from the 2 Nana's.

Great service, good variety of food, relaxed atmosphere, very good prices.

Amigos i loved the place And Breakfast was 😋 delicious the big wave with tropical juice. I recommend the dish. Full Belly Happy Heart. I feel so energetic for my hike

Paid a lot for below average meals. Steak overcooked, poorly seasoned, with soggy side salad. Club sandwich was bland - no seasoning and bare minimum sauce. Staff were friendly though. This was somewhat redemptive for this occasion, but I'd not return.

My partner, family and I had breakfast here yesterday. The food was fine. Coffee not the best. The service was horrible and all over the place. They ran out of cutlery so we all shared between us to eat our meals. Will not be coming here again.

Whoa what a awesome find, the service was friendly, fast and efficient. The food was on point as well, THE CHIPS are amazing as was The Big Wave breakfast super yummy. The barramundi was beautiful, fresh and cooked to perfection plus the salad was fantastic flavour. Will be coming back here again.

I ordered an acai bowl and ate only a quarter of it due to the fact that it was a watery blend. I can tell you that I did not enjoy it and I will not be going there again. I was very disappointed as I spent quite a bit of money on a small, not enjoyable meal. I wanted to let people know so that they do not make the same mistake that I did.
Snapshots Of Food
Earlier this year, we spent new year's day at Cronulla and decided to grab breakfast from Nulla Nulla. We've taken the public holiday into account and anticipated a long wait for food however, still expected some level of service. However, we were seated in a corner and I found myself walking away from our table a couple times to signal the staff and even walked up to the counter to grab the menu myself. We also observed a couple tables that were seated after us, served before us. My advice: ask to be seated more centrally because the corner table was sadly forgotten.

Came with a friend for brunch a couple of days ago. I had the berry acai bowl which was very refreshing and filling. The fruits were fresh and sweet and I liked how the flavours came together. My friend had the eggs atlantic. The portion looked on the smaller side compared to some other places but it looked all right.

I love Nulla Nulla!! Breakfast is amazing and you get so much for the price. Anywhere else in Cronulla gives you 1/4 portion for double the price. Sometimes service is a bit slow but makes time to drink your coffee :)))))

Terrible. Staff friendly though, but you go out for the food, not the staff. Ordered takeaway and they forgot the whole order. The food is overpriced, extremely its a sad joke. Food isn't that great either and menu lacks creativity/everything. Avoid if possible for your own good!

I ordered pancakes for $14, what I got was two small pancakes that were overcooked. The dish was also ment to come with ice cream which I had to ask for..

If a cafe can't even get pancakes right I hate to think what there other meals are like.

Definitely won't be returning.

Ordered the Seasonal Fruit Salad w/Yoghurt and Honey and I must say, it was quite a disappointment. There was no more than four types of fruit in the dish and as pictured, the quantity was also very small for $8. Strawberries were semi-fresh but the apple was soft and definitely unpleasant to eat. Fortunately, the yoghurt and honey was the best part of the dish.
An unsatisfying brunch unfortunately.

Large cafe with indoor and outdoor space catering for breakfast, lunch and dinner and in between. Service was very slow despite being quiet but staff are very friendly. Coffee was ok and lukewarm. Babycino is quite big as are food portions. Cakea looked a bit stale in the display which deterred me from ordering.

Came here about a week ago with a few friends of a night time. We shared the 'Nutella Calzone' and needless to say it was pretty tasty. The price was pretty good for its portion.

I've always wanted to try this place for breakfast. It seems to always be pumping in the morning so they must be doing something right, right? Maybe I should stick with my instincts. We decided to pop in for dinner with our kids after sport. They were hungry and I needed a semi stiff drink. We sat ourselves in a beautiful big booth like table and were greeted by a friendly server. We ordered for ourselves and the kids without any hassle and were waiting for our drinks when their hot chips came out. Hmmm where's mamma's Bloody Mary.....the kids were about to tuck into their fries when my husband quickly shuffled them off to wash their hands. When they returned I still didn't have my necessary cocktail and went to wash my hands. I passed by our cocktails on the bar with the chit (hospitality talk for order/receipt) and could see from the condensation underneath that they had been sitting there for a while. I noticed the servers all chatting in the corner behind the coffee machine. When I came out of the neatly presented loo the drinks were still there so I picked them up and smiled/smirked while I passed the staff "you don't mind if I deliver our drinks to our table do you?" I wasn't entirely hating on them but yeah, annoying much? To make a long story short the kids received their fish n chips and the chips were delicious. The fish was manky and way too fishy. My husband said it must be old. Ew. Our seafood pasta was ok/meh and the ice in my drink had melted just enough to make it tolerably watery and generally hit the spot. The pizza was greasy. I could make it better myself. I think they used the wrong type of cheese but hey there are plenty of more important things happening in the world so what can you do. What I will do is not go back. Maybe I'll try breakfast next time but no way to their dinner menu.

Not bad for an early breakfast! they are open at 6am till late, so if you come from night shift it's q good place to be. Food are great and coffee average.. customer service is also great.

The thickshakes are killer, food is filling and tasty and despite some slow service I've thoroughly enjoyed every visit. It's a Cafe not a restaurant and if you want gold class, fine-dining then perhaps try Darling Harbour, Sydney CBD etc. For the lively yet relaxed scene of the surfy town that is Cronulla we feel Nulla Nulla is just what the doctor ordered. My only issue would be the live music nights the volume is a little too much for the cafe and due to poor acoustics it becomes quite hard to manage a conversation during this time unless you're seated way at the back or outside.

Fresh juice on hot beach days are bliss. I got a tropical juice takeaway so I could walk and talk, but its pineapple freshness was a way better pick me up then any coffee I could of had

Friendly, cute staff. Tasty food! Delicious pasta for a good price, and good alcohol. They also do breakfast all day, and close really late. Perfect for a meal after the beach. Had a lovely time.

We had a lovely brunch with our friends Anna and Chris in the garden of Nulla Nulla. The weather was really nice, and it added to the overall impression of the place. I ordered the chicken schnitzel on Turkish bread + tomato + rocket + cheese + mayo + fries (you can choose wedges if you want) and it was mouth watering. But also very filling, so Steve Hurwitz had to eat the rest of mine (not that he complained). All in all a good solid 4, and would definitively come back. Although there was a 12.5% surcharge because it is Easter, so that sucked a bit.

Popped by after going to the beach, was definitely hungry and glad to have ordered the vegan veggie burger with a side of fries, the veggie patties was very soft which worked very well with the vegan Mayo underneath. Although the squid salad seemed very simple. Mango smoothie was very thick and quite large mixed with chia seeds making it quite filling. :)
Nehme12
Dissatisfied with their interpretation of a chicken parma, oily and dried out. Not the worst I have had but not far from it. Maybe the pizzas are better?

The best coffee in the shire hands down!
Really good value for money and sweet atmosphere, food portions are really big!
10/10 for the lamb salad!!
Really good service too!

Trendy surf themed café situated in the central area of Cronulla Mall. Dining inside or outside on a nice day, you can enjoy good food and service. The décor and location is inviting to all visitors and although it may not be as obvious, this is a nice family friendly café. Detailed Review: This is one of my Cronulla favourites to enjoy a nice coffee and good food. On a beautiful day it’s nice to sit outside, but I usually like to sit at the Atari Arcade tables for my kids near the front which has a bench seat covered with comfortable orange cushions against the wall. The café is flavoured with the surf lifestyle décor and you can choose between lounge seatings or wooden tables and chairs. The Manager (Josh), runs this place well between ensuring tables are serviced by staff and cleanly maintained whilst whipping up a great coffee.

First and last time. Shire resident 40 years young went there for the first time today, and the last.
Service was poor, asked two different wait people for glasses, sauce etc and got nothing.
Ordered the club sandwich, which was basically half a loaf of bread with minimal toppings.
Expected a lot more from a place that usually looks quite busy, but I can't say I know anyone that goes there or has said they have been there and enjoyed it. Wont be back.

Friday night dinner, friendly staff, good quality produce at an appropriate price point. Well deserved thumbs up!

Popped in for a coffee while waiting for a friend. Friendly staff and nice coffee. Like it.

Soy milk rip-off. Nulla has always had superb coffee. But a dollar extra for soy milk? I'm afraid there is no excuse for that sort of stunt.

Not too shabby, always trying to be great staff, it'd be tough trying to be a Gordon Ramsey wait staff for the customers when it's just a cafe, so the minor inconveniences I can look past. If you're looking for a quick feed decent coffee then look no further (it seems a lot of people who have reviewed on here were looking for 5 star treatment, go to waterfront in the rocks) I've gone down to nulla nulla a few times for breakfast, sometimes a light dinner and It's always been good.
Bianca
Never had a good meal here.

Good burger good steak sandwich

Slow service. A cafe that is always pumping even through the service is poor and the food not so good. Go figure. Cronulla really is in need of a cafe that can provide the locals good food and service.
Jessica
It's an ok cafe. Been there heaps of times and have to say the food is great but poor service. And also the waitresses can be slow at bringing meals out we got a garlic bread that was cold. They might aswell have given us it frozen. We sent it back and the manager apologized. There was also a stuff up with our meals once. The waitress told us that our fish and chips didn't come with salad so we ordered 2 side salads only to find out that the fish came with salad.

So many haters! In my experience always friendly service and good "pub grub" food. Me thinks the competition is grubby! Try it for yoursellf...

Terrible service, rancid cheesecake base... Been here twice now. Service is entitled and nonchalant , wait staff didn't ask etc before takin plates we were not finished with and didn't acknowledge us after trying to do so when we said we were still going.. The caramel cheese cakes breadcrumb base was rancid. I told them so and they charged us for it anyway. Coffee was terrible and I basically think it is a cafe with an identity crisis.. Trying to be something it's not, and unable to go back to what it was

Extremely overrated! Save your money and head elsewhere in the mall. I suggest inc cafe!

Good coffe good food. Just POOR service on multiple occasions.

Been coming here for years now. I love the place.

The best coffee and the best service I've found in Sydney to date. The staff are all extremely friendly, and it has a great atmosphere. I'll happily make the 45 min drive to go to Nulla Nulla

Did a big reno last year and I think it's great now. Big cocktail list and you can have a drink without eating so good to go before hitting fusions or 2230. staff really friendly.

Horrible coffee, horrible service. So much better places in cronulla.

What Happened?. The once Cronulla institution has now gone down hill very rapidly.

I hate to say but a place I used to love now seems very confused and lost in competition with the new place up the road.

Dined here last Thursday night and the service was so animated it was almost comical, and the food was very below average.

These guys should have stuck to what they used to do best....cafe food...whats with the Pizza's guys?????

Great for lunches or light dinners, popular spot, service is OK, food is average to good, not spectacular, but it's not meant to.

Now take Amex. Great for light lunches and quick/ light dinners before or after a movie. Cakes are excellent. I like it.
Ben
Quite a popular spot with average to good service. The food is very hit and miss. I would recommend to stay away from the omlettes on the breakfast menu, I have been dissapointed every time I ordered one (you would think I would have learnt) to the point where I didn't want to finish the meal after finishing one bite. By all accounts the other meals seem ok, but be prepared for a large bill (more than reasonable as far as I am concerned). They don't take AMEX.
