Review Thy Vietnamese Restaurant - Cronulla

As you walk up to the restaurant, the first thing that strikes you is the inviting sparkle of fairy lights and the soft muted tones of the decor. The staff are incredibly friendly, inviting and attentive. Most importantly the food is great tasting and plentiful. It’s no Michelin starred restaurant but it’s definitely perfect for a quiet night out. For a suburb that has lots of Thai options, this one definitely stands out

Great food and good setting. Different take on the traditional thai food and plated well. Had the boneless stuff chicken wing, thai spring roll, and garlic rice. All great dishes. The rice was very aromatic.

Honestly this is not the best Thai in Cronulla. Pricey and not tasty enough. Didn't feel like I was having Thai at all and also dish was kinda small.

Ultimate Thai food, it really doesn't matter what you order it will be the best you have ever had. The awesome woman who looks after you is the hardest worker in the world. Honestly she 100% lovely and 100% efficient. The most extraordinary person I have ever noticed working brilliantly on a very busy night.

Photos posted are old and do not do the new interior justice! Vietnamese steamed rolls are the best I have tasted anyway! Ingredients are so fresh with all their dishes - a vietnamese thai fusion treasure house. My friends and I have eaten here weekly for the past 2 Years as we love it!

Gorgeous local Thai/Vietnamese restaurant, everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. The restaurant is lovely, classy and cosy. The service was friendly and attentive. It is Thai for Western palates so if you prefer more hot, just ask! The take away is great too.

First and last time. One of my prawns in Tom Yum was off do i spat it back out. Told them and they still charge for a take away container. Quail said chili jam but no flavor at all. Asked for fresh chili so they give me frozen chili to put in my warm meal. When I asked for non frozen chili she says you have to freeze it as it goes off. I been in restaurants for 36 years and lived in Thailand, never been given chopped frozen chili. Mai arroy.

Went only once, had Vietnamese spring rolls the best ever no doubt, jasmine rice very aromatic, had 3 more dishes 10 out of 10, beautiful atmosphere very friendly staff, definitely going back.

Opened early for us as we ambled by. Very attentive service and friendly. We ordered pumpkin stir fry - a favourite veggie of mine and Vietnamese creamy curry with coconut rice. The rice had been stir fried with the coconut - interesting and wonderful. The mains were perfectly spiced as we suggested spicy. Nice surprise dessert - cream caramel - homemade!!!! Excellent. Very nice evening (early).

Disappointing. High percentage on here prompted us to try. Scores out of 5.<br/>Decor nice, new, modem, feels new, intimate, 4.<br/>Food taste & quality, adequate, a full onion in beef lemongrass stir fry, 2.5.<br/>Value, eg only 4 prawns in the pad Thai, 2, guess most of the $ used to pay for renovations. <br/>Service, acceptable 3.<br/>Location convenient, off main strip, parking at centre.<br/>We won't be coming back.

Not my fav. Won't go back. Located in a lane and nothing special. First time I've been told there is a minimum charge in a restaurant. Not good enough to make that demand

Don't go late. Disappointed with our visit to Thy last night after choosing it from good reviews here. We went after the movie, dinner at 9.30, food just okay and very rushed, they wanted us and them to go home. The salmon curry was recommended by waitress but way too fishy and we were not able to eat, duck salad also recommended but just average. Told the waittress, she did not care. The chicken red curry was the best. I will be going back to their competition around the corner from now on.

Great Food. Excellent service and very prompt with drinks and menus. Staff are very friendly and love to chat. Not the best Thai in Cronulla. But they 100% have great choices on the menu, their Vietnamese is best in the area!!! (Iv been to Vietnam). Choices are Healthy too. Recommend the Nahm Sod salad. Huge flavours, the pumpkin stir fry or creamy curry !!!! been going here for years never disappointed!!!!

Yuck!!!. This is the worst Thai Rest I have ever been too. We were the only couple in the place so thought this is going to be interesting. Well we were right the red chicken curry was like milky water and the chicken was like rubber and looked frozen??? Will not be impressed if I get sick. After telling the owner I will pay for everything except for the curry he got very aggressive and locked the front door so I could not leave till I paid foir all?? I ended up not paying for the curry and he said do not come back. DON'T WORRY WE WILL NOT BE BACK.

Very good Vietnamese for the area
