Review Cronulla Junction - Cronulla

Went here this morning for a coffee and a piece of banana bread. It took me over 10 minutes to walk out of the store with my order despite no one else ordering before or after me. That, to be honest, was fine, I wasn’t in a rush. The really disappointing part was the value and quality. The small coffee was A LOT smaller than a normal small in Cronulla, while being 20c more expensive than the average. The coffee itself was good. I have attached a photo of just how small it is. Regular take away coffee drinkers will see how ridiculous the size is. Also, the banana bread was hardly toasted at all, it was a warm soggy mush. I don’t like to be too scathing from a single experience so I gave 2 stars but the experience was definitely a poor one and I doubt I will go back. There is a lot of choice in Cronulla. That lack of value isn’t good enough.

From the friendly staff, and perfectly delicious coffee. We were blown away by the food. The attention to detail & high quality of produce made the two poached egg breakfasts we had a joy to eat. The hardest bit was the thought of breaking into these perfectly artistic poached eggs. Hats off to the chef & staff.

Good coffee and food, nothing extraordinary. The prices reflect the food quality.

An excellent experience right round for me - every time. I love this cafe, nice layout, very modern, personable & competent staff, a thorough menu to choose from & above all else - quality coffee. Always love tucking into a big breakfast there - very well displayed, very generous portions & quite affordable. Never had a bad experience with these guys, it's always a pleasure dropping in. Looking forward to heading back in there again soon.

Went there for brunch with my fiancé. We both had the smashed avocado and large Long Black coffee. Very good! Place is quite cozy and slightly busy at 11am on sunday but orders were served at a timely manner. The breakfast and coffee were amazing! The meal was cooked well and very tasty. My fiancé went out of his way to compliment the chefs. Will definitely be retuning to try the burgers and sweet. Looking forward to our next visit!

Great to see Pablo & Rusty's has finally made its debut in Cronulla! Loved the coffee. Not to mention the Ovvio tea selection! You can tell this cafe uses premium quality products. Staff were bubbly and friendly. Food was excellent. Kids playground just outside makes it a great place for the family! Thanks for the lovely time! Will definitely be back again. Not sure what the negative reviews are about... sounds like they're all together. 3 reviews with 3 thumbs up each? Suspicious...

Visiting Cronulla from the Northern Beaches & had a fabulous lunch Hawaii eggs on pan, Battered Flathead & chips, Mixed Berry & watermelon smoothies absolutely fabulous. The staff are terrific friendly folk. Treat yourself to good food, good company & relaxing atmosphere. Coming back 4 sure. 😎

Breakfasts were tasty but disappointed that they used regular cold sliced tomato rather than cooked cherry tomatoes. It wasn't busy at all only a couple patrons at the time so shouldn't have run out of ingredients. Also the side of smoked salmon to go with was verrrry fishy! I mean yes, it's fish, but I've never had smoked salmon that strong before.

Service was great here! I got the pesto, egg and mushrooms on toast, which was sooooo delicious! I think they put too much olive oil but apart from that it was so filling and tasty.

I was on my 30-minute lunch break and ordered ONE acai bowl. The cafe had about three other tables filled. By 15 minutes into waiting, I reminded the waitress of my order and she claimed it was in the kitchen almost ready - it took another 10 minutes to come out. I had to call my boss to tell him I would have to extend my break. No apologies from the waitress. A similar thing happened about a year ago, but I had thought to give them another chance in case it was an off day. The service clearly hasn't changed at all.

Visited Cronulla Junction this morning for a nice breakfast with the family and when we arrived it was deserted. We ordered our food and the waitress took our order and assured us it would be ready soon. Each drink and meal came out at different times so we couldn’t eat as a family (we came for the experience). It took at least 30 minutes for the initial drinks to be brought to us and after an hour of waiting one of us still didn’t receive their açai bowl. After asking how long the food would take twice we had to cancel the açai bowl because it was taking too long. After we cancelled the order, the waitress did not apologise for the delay or show any concern at all. Won’t be going back here again.
We know Sunday breakfast . We have been to this place 3 times now and it doesn't disappoint. The junction cafe Breakfast is to die for, clean food and delicious. I love the smashed avo. For a fussy coffe snob the barista gets my double ristretto right every time.We haven't tried the pancakes but they look amazing. Really good atmosphere, free newspapers and wifi. My daughter is won over by the free baby chinos with her meal, really nice touch. Can be a little hard to find at the end of Cronulla street near the stage but definitely worth a try, highly recommended.

Solid cafe amongst strong, healthy competition in Cronulla. Great variety, full of flavour. Customer service was on point. Recommended if you are undecided where to go

Amazing food. Highly recommended and somewhat of a gem, hidden amongst the shop fronts of cronulla mall. The ricotta pancakes are to die for

This place is lit. I ordered the morning burger, the ingredients were very fresh. I like the environment, this cafe is located next to cold rock ice cream shop.It is great for bringing kids over as they give free babychinos. and it is pet friendly. Service was good, everyone was friendly.

Don’t bother coming here if you want good service and expect your food to turn up.

Visited this morning for breakfast as it was on our “to visit” list; not crowded, only three other tables with visitors. Ordered two large cappuccinos, Eggs Benedict, and ricotta pancakes. All good and written down, nothing complicated.

Coffees turned up separately, about 5 mins apart although the same order. Eggs Benedict followed about 5 mins after coffee. Cutlery eventually was provided.

The pancakes? A no show. Waitress asked what else we were waiting for and checked with the kitchen; was told would be out in 5 mins (now about 25mins after we originally ordered and Eggs Benedict were now half eaten).

10mins later, pancakes go to another table who ordered after us. Bugger this. Went up to the counter to cancel the pancakes order, and there was absolutely no acknowledgement or apology for the no show, just told the total to be paid. Absolute shambles.

Will be telling friends not to bother with this place. People go out not only to eat, but to experience. With Cronulla Junction only one of us got to eat and the experience was disappointing. There are at least a dozen other places in Cronulla to have breakfast, and that’s where we’ll be going.

Great little cafe with some really interesting dishes and very well done coffee. My friend got the morning delight which looked great and I had the morning bliss with fresh Ricotta which was so flavoursome and delicious . Talked to the staff who seemed lovely as well.

Really neat place that I hope gets the business it deserves.

Great for a breakfast or lunch cafe style. Dogs can sit outside with you which is great .. lovely casual spot to sit a watch the world go by. Wheelchair accessible outside.

Food was all presented amazing and tasted just as good. Wait time was noticeable but worth it entirely. Would highly recommend everything I ordered - didn't even make it to the lunch menu!

Maybe it's because they're new or.... the man who served me was rude and abrasive. I couldn't understand him and he couldn't understand me. The staff seemed confused. Food came out quickly and was nice. Love the fitout but the atmosphere seems tense. Horrible coffee as well.
