Review Bahbq - Crows Nest

I like the cheese bread and banana fritters. Food came really quickly once you sit down. It was good but after a few meat serving, we felt it was salty. There was some meat cuts we wanted to try but the staff just walked right passed us, so you need to stand up and wave - subtle wont work. Also, we have to tried few times to flag the staff for more water.

It was my first time at this restaurant, it was nice, a bit warm to be honest, we didn't had to wait that much to be seated which was good. Once in the table, would have been nice to actually have a menu to see what was included, drinks options... All the wait staff was kind and some with more charisma than others, we started to get bombarded with food at the very beginning, and it took a while for someone to get our drinks order, when they finally did she just said "do you want any drinks?" But never actually offered us what it was available... it took a while too to get the side dishes. Then the wait time in between dishes served was taking longer and longer... and other tables around were served... that was not nice at all, and suddenly they literally just stopped serving us completely, not really on. Food was okay, place was nice , but personally I wouldn't go back.

We loved loved loved our experience! Absolutely everyone had a fantastic attitude. We felt part of the family since the moment we walked in šŸ˜Š the table initially reserved for us was next to the AC, and I felt chilly. The manager offered a few alternative locations and was friendly and polite all along. All the waiters were very attentive and kept the food constantly coming. There is so much food, I recommend you only take your absolute favourites when asked, as you may not have space for them anymore very soon! We were there on a date, however I think the place suits larger friends and family gatherings as well. What a winner - we canā€™t wait to come back.

Loved the whole experience. Staff were attentive and friendly. The restaurant has a nice and warm ambiance. From the moment youā€™re seated, food comes straight away. Great variety and at the end of your seating youā€™re asked if thereā€™s anything you really liked that youā€™d like again. Will definitely come back.

Can't help but i loved this place. It's a huge location with tons of indoor and outdoor seating. The range and quality of meat is excellent. But the most impressive thing is how they manage the logistics of keeping things coming regularly and evenly to all tables. I love that at the end of your meal they almost always ask for any special requests for food that you missed. Great place.

Overall a positive experience at this restaurant! The quality of food was great, however we found that the servers did not come around to our table which significantly slowed down the service of food. There was a good 15 min period where we saw plenty of skewers being served to other tables and we were completely ignored. We ended up asking for specific items to be served to us as we knew we wouldn't get to try them unless we asked.

Such a lovely Brazilian BBQ experience and worth checking out. The decor, the music, the staff, the food - all great. The food was mostly amazing. The meats were perfectly cooked, the pineapple was juicy, the banana fritters/cheese balls/polenta fries were awesome. The only food that could be improved would be the prawns. The prawns were way too overcooked and rubbery which is disappointing as our table was really looking forward to them. The staff were also lovely - so receptive! My feedback to them would be to know basic information including if there is a disabled toilet and a change table available. Also of note - this restaurant is not wheelchair/pram accessible as there are a huge flight of stairs to enter. That being said - still worth checking out for that churrasco experience :)

This place was highly recommended, we enjoyed the taste of the food but the service was very poor. In Japanese BBQ they use green light red light system, to inform waiter if one requires more food. Here at Brazilian we can wait 10 minutes without any meat brought to the table. Would definitely not go again. Thanks anyway

Amazing Food when you are not on a Diet. Great amazing food and service. Brazilian food is delicious. I loved the Pineapple Brazilian way it was heaven on earth. Just I wont be visiting until few months later. Highly recommended for all to enjoy the beauty of Brazilian food.

I had the best experience at Bahbq this week!! The food is amazing, very friendly staff and the best cocktails I've ever had ļæ½ļæ½ Highly recommend!!!

Last night was my third time at Bah BQ and I thought it was about time I wrote a review. From their simple online booking process to the courteous staff member confirming my booking by phone and delivering on my request for a table in the lounge area, it was an outstanding reservation experience. The dining experience was even better. The waiters are all so friendly, warm and passionate about the food. Every request was met with a delightful response and nothing was out of the question. Ladies, keep an eye out for their very own Brazilian Salt Bae waiter. The roast cauliflower and corn was my favourite, along with the delicious pineapple Margherita. All of the meat was spot on. The manager/owner of the restaurant is the essence of the vibe, he's checking in with every table to make sure that the food and service is up to his very high standard. Thanks again for another fabulous meal and being so accommodating with my young family and my friends.

Special shout out to the staff, my partner and I both agree that itā€™s the best service we have ever received in a restaurant. The food was so amazing as well, overall 11/10, definitely going back there when we are down in Sydney again.
Funnie Lee
It was a great experience dining at BahBQ. The services were great. With unlimited supply of traditional Brazilian cuts (from Pork Belly, Tri Tip, Rump Cap, Chicken hearts, Garlic prawns to Grilled spicy pineapple) to try from the menu. Meat was freshly made, juicy & tender and packed with BBQ smoky flavour. If that's not enough, how about a churro with warm Belgium chocolate and Doce de Leite (special salted caramel sauce) to end the evening. To me, the best part is all the BBQing is done by the staff and all you have to do is 'Sit and eat'. It is a fun way to enjoy a great evening with friends & non-stop food and laughter.

Best food and service we've had in a long time! I highly recommend going. The staff were always one step ahead and the food was so flavoursome - definitely going back!!!

Quality of food and service was very impressive. Loved the look and feel of the restaurant itself too. Highly recommend for couples, birthdayā€™s and functions!

BahBQ makes a meat-lovers pizza with extra meat look vegetarian. Everything cooked to perfection. Great service and excellent sides as well. Make sure you skip a few meals before and after your visit
Vicki Doyle
Great food and great fun. Excellent place to take visitors. Make sure you leave yourself hungry before you go as there is so much yummy food.
Tom Perak
The service and friendliness of the staff is exceptional. They really make you feel welcome. My partner and I love Brazilian food, this place had a lot of variety and new things that we tried for the first time. Quality = Excellent Service = Excellent Yes, we'll go again and will be inviting more friends.

One of the best šŸ‡§šŸ‡· brazilian bbq šŸ— i have had in Sydney. Great customer service. Loved it.
Angelo Orlando
Would definitely recommend and would go back again, the food was great and tasted amazing!!
Kasper Katz
Wow I was really gobsmacked, the food is amazing and the staff is so polite and professional, totally worth a visit!
Roy Kowarski
Method and frequency of serving meat to tables was hopeless. Didnā€™t improve after pointing this out to manager on duty. This is a simply fix to create a memorable experience. I have no intention of going back
Neil Aldini
I have been here many times but this time would have been the best time. The food was better than ever!! We'll be back!! ļæ½ļæ½ļæ½

Great food, very authentic and really friendly, engaged staff. We had a terrific time and will definitely come back 'for seconds'!

First time last night .. the food was fresh and tasty unfortunately one steak we ordered was just over cooked but the manager miss Diana was very apologetic and took that dish off the bill ...offered a yummy pineapple dessert Overall the service was very good I will definitely go back and the prices were reasonable and a lovely ambience Go check it out

The food was great, however we were highly disappointed by the small portions and the fact that the servers stopped serving us and were bypassing our table, after not even an hour (approx. 45 min) into the buffet. There are no terms/conditions to say that the buffet time is limited, nor were we told that it was or asked if we wanted anything more. We were also not offered quite a few items which were offered on the buffet menu. Our sides were cleared by staff after staff failed to offer anything else to us, feeling uncomfortable, we asked for the bill and left. We didnā€™t feel that the buffet value for money!
Hungry For Chips
This is becoming one of our favourite restaurants when we have carnivore cravings. The pincahna is DELICIOUS. I don't know what is the seasoning they use, but it is good. The PĆ£o de Queijo is probably the best Iā€™ve had; Iā€™m normally not a fan but now this is a favourite.
Highlights: a good solid Brazilian BBQ with warm friendly service.
Lowlights: be prepared to eat a lot. Wait, thatā€™s my own lowlight for this place. And also be prepared to drink a litre of water; as great as the dishes are, you get thirsty!
Quentin Zil
The service was great, waiters are very friendly and the meat kept coming. The meats were good, so was the dessert!

Having been to quite a few Churrasco places, I was curious to see what they offer with the 64$ price point, which is 25$ more expensive than the ones I've come to love.

Situated at crows nest, the place looks fancy and upscale. The churrasco is served the traditional way, on a fork and carved at the table. The variety of meats and food is traditional but not different with other places.Ā
The first thing i noticed when i sat down was the bottle of wine and wine glasses on the tables. Intentional or not, it looked like it's on the house, some customer might have cracked one open and realise you have to pay after. Also the fact that there is a wine list, if anyone wants to drink, they can just order.
When I told one of the waiters that we won't be drinking, he became quite abrupt and aggressive about it, but we come to learn that it's probably just how he is in general.Ā

It took a while for food to come, but I really liked the polenta chips. It's aromatic and crispy, and you're free to order more sides if you want. The meat is very juicy and smoky, but they don't come around a lot, maybe every 5 minutes or so, the meat is also thinly sliced. I like my picanha chunky. This might be the reason why my friends were not full even after 1.5 hours of 'meat festā€˜.Ā

Close to around 2 hours, the server came and asked "So would you like some pineapples or you're done?", not thinking we might want more food, or it seems that he think it's time for us to finish up...? The guys we're dining with hasn't rejected food at that moment, so we're not sure where the idea came from.Ā

The food itself is delicious, but I don't think i'll be recommending this place knowing there are other places who does it well with a friendlier atmosphere and price point. The way they try to sell you other add-ons is also a little off-putting. Sad to say I won't be coming back.
B Jellard
Great place; nice food & welcoming, friendly service. Recommended if you like all kinds of bbq meat. Theyā€™ll feed you until you can take no more!

Having been to a few Brazilian BBQ style restaurants when they hit the Sydney food scene in early 2000s i have been reluctant to try any new ones. You usually end up leaving full ( not in a great way) having loaded up on the carb loaded side plates and chasing the premium cuts of meats which somehow are always finished before they get to your table.Ā BahBQ was a refreshing change! The waitstaff were incredibility friendly and attentive. The meat was delicious- cooked amazingly and never in short supply. The waiters even made a point of asking if there were particular items our table was after. Cocktails were dangerously delicious - at $64 per head+ drinks slightly on the exxier side butĀ worth it. Would definitely go back again

Service is very promt and the wait lady was very friendly and genuine,
we ordered the sirloin steak . The Steak comes with yummy rocket salad and chips, the only thing that bother me is, my steak cook well done instead of medium, but since i was wuite hungry, i cant be bothered to hustle the staff with a complaint and chomped down everything quickly

Was very nice food and service very clean and lovely dinning experience
There was meats vegetables salads , wine and Brazilian drinks on offer

What more can you want?!? Such a variety of meats under one roof, and who can say no to that amazing cinnamon pineapple to end the feast. Great location, interior fits really well with the cuisine style. Very welcoming and a nice place to dine. Food is great as long as you have an eye for meat, meat and meat! Sometimes you have to be observant when a waiter walks past with your favourites, or they may just finish within his rounds, waiting for another round can sometimes be quick and sometimes takes a little time. Parking is limited, but there is street parking which is good!
Perfect dinner and friendly staff :)
I recommend chicken hearts and All about lamb and Grilled pineapple. Also churros is so nice
I will come back dinner again !

Iā€™m not a fan of Brazilian bbq, since the meat is sooo plain and there is not a lot flavour... Iā€™ve tried at least 4-5 Brazilian BBQ places Iā€™m sydney, they all the same. Prefer Asian BBQ, since they marinated the meat in different flavour and select certain part of meat carefully, not just like Brazilian ones, roasted one church piece in one go.

I would still give4 star for this restaurant, the service is pretty good, and the meat quality is great.
A Guide For Your Appetite
Our friends took us out here for a couples dinner catch up. This was a fair drive from home, about 50 minutes. But man was it worth it.

The staff are very friendly and all are cheerful. The restaurant has a nice warm feel to it. In my opinion the restaurant is good for all occasions whether being couples dining, catch up with friends or large groups.

The staff come around to serve the variety of meat a lot so you are always dining and trying different types of meat, chicken or seafood. If you like something you can ask for it again or ask for more when they are serving you.

A great atmosphere and a fund restaurant to be at.
Zoeeeeeee
The service was good. The staff always wear a smile on their faces and ask us if we want anything else at anytime.

Food were good also, especially the raw beef, juicy and sweet. Some entree also tasted good, like the sweet corn and honey chicken wings. I asked the staff to serve 2 to 3 times for these dishes instead of the meats. Haha
Although I didn't taste the lamb, my friend told me it was great toošŸ˜‰

Worth to try this Brazilian Bbq!!
Best place to have dinner with your love and familiesšŸ’•šŸ’•
The Wolf Of Eat Street
šŸ’„ ALL YOU CAN EAT / BIG EATS šŸ’„
-
šŸ‘ˆ Swipe left for more pics šŸ‘ˆ
-
Lowdown: We came to this place for one reason and one reason onlyā€¦ CHURRASCO! No menu required, just an ongoing bombardment of various spit roasted meats, which are prepared with "dry rub seasonings, fine herbs, brines, marinades and glazesā€. This is the type of place you go to, where the meat is soo tender, so lovingly prepared, that no sauces or extras are required. The meat varies from beef (rib, flank, rump cap, tri tip), lamb (rump, ribs), pork (sausage, belly, chorizo), and chicken (wing, thigh, heartā€¦ yes heart). My personal favourite was the rump cap!
But everyone knows a delicious meal requires the satisfaction of the sweet toothā€¦ Sweet tooth, meet caramelised grilled pineapple - maybe the BahBQ team can confirm, but it tastes as though the pineapple has been pampered with cinnamon and given a lil brown sugar. The result is a mouth watering fruit which has you begging for moreā€¦ even though you feel like you have eaten your own weight in foodā€¦
-
Pro tip: Donā€™t fill up on the salad, or polenta sticks, or fried bananaā€¦ Have a bit, stay hungry, and enjoy what is heading your way. Donā€™t be afraid to ask for double or triple serves each time something comes your way. No matter how full you believe you are, make sure you have a slice (or 10) of the BBQā€™d pineapple.
-
Cost: $59pp

Amazing food and customer service. Well worth the travel and money. So glad I chose this place as a celebratory dinner with my partner. Would definitely come back and recommend to others. Such a wonderful and interesting dining experience, with so many kinds of meat and flavours to choose from. The sides were great additions also! Found it amazing how there was always another staff waiting to greet you just after finishing the last piece of meat, no matter how busy it got.
Ankith Ravindran
Been there for a celebratory dinner and was the best decision. Specially for a person who can eat a lot, this place is just perfect. With the unlimited menu and all the kind of meats and seafood that they serve was not at all disappointed. Everything served was fresh The staff was very friendly and the food just kept coming non stop.

BahBQ is the second of the two "Brazilian-style" BBQ which I tried during the past month. The "eat-all-you-can" buffet restaurant in Crows Nest was very popular and crowded with hungry-eaters.

BahBQ serves an assortment of starchy entrees and sauces and condiments before the start of the buffet. The fried bananas and potato salads are outstanding and I secretly hope they will top them up. After the entrees were served, a server will approach every table with a plate or skewer of barbecue meats including chicken wings (taste ok), wagyu beef (tough), lamb (tough), chicken thigh (ok but smoky and bland).

The overall service and food is much better than Churrasco but I would probably not go back to both restaurants.
GobbleDok
My first Brazilian BBQ experience and it was great.
Good quality and flavoured meat come to your table.

I like chicken heart surprisingly, however, lamb rib and chicken(wing) are awesome.

Waiters are helpful as well. Once we said no for served meat (as we were close to full, so wanted to eat something we loved), they asked us what we wanted and brought it to us.

However, once most members of the table finished their meal, waiters weren't attentive anymore even one person kept going. We may need "please" and "no thanks" plate to indicate perhaps, haha.

We were informed that garlic Prawn is no longer available due to quarantine regulation change (cannot import them anymore). Instead, they served calamari, which wasn't fresh, smelled fishy.

The place can be noisy and hard to hear someone sitting far end when it's full house.

If you meat lover, it is definitely worth to visit.

Exceptional service and wonderful food. Like a buffet but the food comes to you!! We requested a couple of extra dishes, the halloumi and prawns and they were brought to us without hesitation. I can't wait to go back!! The mojito was amazing. I had a jug to myself hehe
Coco
The food is fantastic - had the churrasco - my favourite being the garlic prawns and pineapple. The staff are so efficient and friendly. Great experience overall.
Maria
Had dinner for the first time here on a very busy Saturday night. The staff did not let their busy night prevent them from delivering quality service though, customer service was very good from the maitre'd and wait staff. The food is an endless carousel of delicious bbq meat....amazing food. The bbq pineapple ticks it off for the dessert. Expect to have a food coma from the irresistible bbq meats & pineapple here.
Mark Rheinbay
Good place. With wine and food pairing. Plenty of food served quickly and well cooked. Did find almost every dish was quite greasy or fatty though. Would be nice to have some lighter cuts.
Very very noisy. Not a relaxing place to eat.
Plenty of variety.
Good value but not outstanding in anything particular
Rhonda So
From the moment we stepped in we knew we were going to have a great night. It was already extremely busy when we got there but that didn't seem to have any impact on the service.
From management to wait staff the vibe was great amd very attentive. Also not only was the food cooked to perfection the variety was amazing.
I've been to other brazilian bbqs before and usually the selection of meats is fairly limited or the food would come out at an erractic pace. Not here.
I can't wait to come back!
Rebecca Ng
Amazing food. Amazing service. Amazing atmosphere and the best Churro's you'll have in your life.
I always have the Churascco menu, only thing is that you NEED to bring your appetite!
Be sure to have a jug or two of their white or red sangria.
A Sydney must try, do not go to a branch of BahBQ crows nest. You must go here.

Nadim
So much meat! However every bite was brilliant. Each meat is well seasoned, perfectly cooked and a new skewer show up just as you're wiping up the remains of the last one. And then the pineapple!
Fruitbatbatbat
Very good service, super friendly waiter and great food!!
My favorite dish is as always, the grilled pineapple:)

Love the whole dinning experience here.
Chris
A good range of traditional Brazilian dishes with an emphasis on meat which is carved from sword like skewers. It doesn't take long to fill up on the beef, pork, chicken, prawn churrasco offerings. They also do a mean Caipirinha which seems to be the drink of choice.
Gabbys79
What a great night we had at BahBQ. I've mentioned in other posts we can't go past our proteins haha so Brazilian bbq is always on our hit list. This place goes above and beyond :)
The food is amazingly cooked and so tasty. Those sides are great! The manager is so wonderful at making you welcome and keeps the food coming.. We loved everything that came out. You must go
Duecelo
Believe the hype.
Delicious flavours, friendly and knowledgeable staff.
We worked our way through the menu and the waiter went the extra mile to make sure we didn't miss any cuts.

First time at BAHBQ Brazilian Grill for a work function, the food was fantastic with a variety of meats, chicken and sausages. Atmosphere was just right and staff was friendly even thought they where busy caving up the food.

Came here for a friend's birthday. Considering our group had about 30 people, we were accommodated pretty well. We loved the meats - cooked well and not loaded with salt like other Brazilian BBQ places. Who would have thought chicken hearts could be so tasty! There were some complaints among friends that the meat and sides (that Brazilian cheese bread!) did not come around enough or supplied when asked for, but overall the whole group was pretty happy.
Ron Magtanong (DJ R-ONE)
Just finished having dinner here, and this is one of the best Brazilian BBQ grill restaurants I have ever been too. Every dish perfectly cooked, staff were friendly, environment was vibrant. Highly recommended the churros for dessert! A+ will definitely be back!

For the love of meat, you need to try out BahBQ. All-you-can-eat churrasco is one of my biggest loves in life, thank goodness there's quite a few of these in Sydney, and I have to say BahBQ is probably one of the finest in food quality & service.Ā

I went here with a hungry group of 7, and we all made the drive from the Eastern Suburbs to the Lower North Shore because we are just hungry meat-eating animals and love any sort of all-you-can-eat. At first, the service was quite slow, and we only had a 2-hour sitting so we were wondering why we weren't getting served any food within the first 10 minutes.. But soon as the first person came to our table serving us bread with dips, it was a never-ending cycle of people serving us meat & delicious grilled delights that we kept saying yes to.Ā
Definite favourites were: the grilled pineapple, pork belly, haloumi cheese, pork sausage, and pretty much all the beef pieces. If you've never been to a Churrasco restaurant before, my advice would be to take it slow & don't eat fast.. Make sure to leave enough room to try each thing, little by little, and after trying it all, you know which ones are the favourite ones so you can order more of that till you are pretty much bloated.Ā

We had no room for dessert and we were done by an hour and a half, and wow, I slept so good that night, you will do as well if you end up vising BahBQ for a meat fest dinner!
Jantina.w.lalor
The food was delicious. BahBQ offers a different and interesting dining experience. The staff were great and the owner made sure he found a table for us even though we didn't book. Highly recommended.

Went here last night for dinner. Very busy and wasn't sure we'd get a table. Owner was awesome and found us one. The food was amazing. Fast service, great passionate staff. Loved the whole experience.
Lynn Le
Come on an empty stomach because this is going to fill you up incredibly quickly. Their meat selection was amazing and no one meat was left out. The staff are really friendly and constantly asking If you've had a bit of everything and seem to genuinely want you to have a great time. Enjoyed the experience!

If you love meat, this is THE place to go!!!!
Absolutely love this Brazilian grill. Regular spot for us. Different cut of beef, pork, lamb, chicken and sausages were all amazing! Kind of all you can eat meat buffet but table service. Can't get enough of the grilled pineapple at the end.
Staffs are always very friendly. Awesome!!!
Megan Sat
This is my absolute favourite Brazilian BBQ restaurant in Sydney.. I've been on three separate occasions and have been blown away each time. The meats are marinated and cooked to perfection, and there is great variety in the flavours. And the cinnamon pineapple is the perfect end to the meal. I'll definitely be back again and again..
Christine
The best Brazilian bbq I've ever been in sydney! Food, service, atmosphere all great!

Off side was beef was bit tough. Other than that šŸ‘šŸ¼

The ambience is a little noisy, but the tables are spaced out nicely. Inside is clean and even though we were having a 'bbq' we felt we were still in a nice and stylish restaurant.

Service was excellent. Staff were all helpful, really friendly and weren't rushing when serving the meats. The only downside, was the frequency in which the food came out. We spent a fair amount of time waiting with empty plates. We were seated at the front of the restaurant, away from the kitchen, and we noticed that any food that came out, rarely made it to the tables on our end. Toward the end of the night, we did notice a bit more food come out, which was an improvement. The upside to this, is that you have more time to sit back, talk and enjoy your drinks as well.

Food was nice and we were able to try most things on offer. The menu read meats, poultry, sausages, seafood, haloumi and spiced pineapple. But for the 2 hours that we were there, we didn't see any seafood. It was only when we were ready to leave, did we see some skewers of prawns come out. We also asked for the chicken hearts, and to their credit, they brought some out especially for us and gave us nearly half of the skewer. I don't know why they didn't have those on rotation. The lamb and pork options were nice, pineapple was great and i enjoyed having the plate of 5 condiments to accompany the meats. Out of the sides, we only ate the rocket salad and fried cassava and polenta. The other sides were beans, rice and a potato salad, which we didn't want to fill up on.

Overall for $50pp, i thought it was a great meal, though quite expensive when drinks are added on top. It doesn't have the hustle and bustle like other churrascarias, so it's perfect for a date or in a small group setting.
Mellee
Great food and service. We managed to snag a fantastic outside table for 6 on Mothers Day and we were all really impressed.
Beautiful white table clothes, fresh flowers on the tables and a single rose for each mum to take home.
Live acoustic music is always a winner for me too!
We arrived at opening time, 12pm and the service was outstanding as was the food and the wine.
Much tastier and cleaner than other Brazilian BBQ restaurants I have tried.

Ambience/staff/food= HAPPY CUSTOMER. 10/10- Great vibe. Reminds me of a korean bbq-BRAZIL STYLE

Went there with 4 people in ANZAC day. Completely packed. Food was great! Many different types of meats with continuous servings. The service was also very good and friendly. Highly recommended place in north shore.

Ever been to a Brazilian BBQ or churrasco? We hadn't for ages so we jumped at the chance to visit BahBQ at Crows Nest to revisit meat on skewers in all shapes and sizes. We had of course been warned to bring our appetites as it was going to be a big meal!

Woeful service...false all you can eat. Longgggg wait between servings of tiny amounts of meats and minuscule prawns....
Asked several times that we haven't had certain dishes but still none served at the end.
Ridiculous portions for the so called all you can eat.
Left after 1.5 hrs feeling hungry and out of pocket
Go elsewhere for better food and service.

Fast and filling. Quick and friendly service. Fast to deliver food. Huge portions.
Dermotmcguire
Excellent food; woeful service. The food is undeniably excellent, butbut the service is emphatically woeful to the point of utter ridiculousness.

Staff deliberately ignoring tables of customers? Check.

Twenty-plus minutes elapsing between rounds of food that are supposed to be continuous? Double check.

Service simply evaporating entirely for a table of 12 people left still hungry, and angry, and disappointed? Triple check.

Do yourself the favour- avoid the stress and the trouble and go someplace else.
Twohappybellies
Overall, this place is a 10 out of 10 eatery especially for meat lovers. A fantastic meal and exceptional service. We will definitely come back again, making sure that we bring our meat enthusiast friends to come along.

I went to BahBQ Brazilian Grill for dinner last night. So I found out about BahBQ - Brazilian Grill located in Crows Nest, in Sydney's Lower North Shore from a young lady who is Brazilian and knows Latin American cuisine well. The food, Cristiane told me, reminds her of how it was back home in Brazil when she had Sunday lunch with her family. Speaking with Jose, the restaurant owner, he reaffirmed that the dining experience at BahBQ Brazilian Grill replicates what Sunday lunches would be like with family in Brazil. I didnā€™t really know what authentic Brazilian food wasĀ at first and it was such a pleasure to learn more about this cuisine this weekend. Ā The word ā€œBahā€ is exclusive to the Gaucho people of the Pampas border of southern Brazil, whose culture is based around cattle breeding and agriculture. Being a very simple bunch, and very rustic, they love wood fire barbecues, and plenty of food on the table. Ambience and Location BahBQ Brazilian Grill is situated in the heart of Crows Nest, in Sydneyā€™s Lower North Shore. The establishment has a rustic, inviting warm feel to it with hospitality of the staff to match. You will see theĀ Iron BarkĀ wood displayed across the wall which is used to burn to BBQ the meats they serve you. The kitchen is an open area where they BBQ all the meats and watching the staff grilling and carving the meats is a delightful and interesting experience in itself.
Little Eats Sydney
A fun restaurant offering excellent Brazilian BBQ meat. You canā€™t go past Churrasco which allows you to sample the huge variety of meats and side dishes on offer. Little ones can even partake in Churrasco or choose from the kidā€™s menu. It really is a family affair here at BAHBQ and little ones are always made to feel welcome.

When you visit a Brazilian BBQ restaurant, you never expect to leave hungry. This is definitely the case at BAHBQ Brazilian Grill in Crows Nest. Their meat and sides are legendary and I highly recommend their Churrasco ($49) which gives you the opportunity to try the best of what they have on offer. Churrasco is available to children under 10 years for half the adult price ($24.50).Ā We visited on Saturday evening and the restaurant was full. Nearly half the tables with babies and children. The noise and fun vibe makes it a great option for little ones.

Love Fooding Around
... we decided to just go with somewhere we know we love that has guaranteed great food and a relaxing dining experience. So away we went, booked a table for two at BahBQ in Crows Nest to engorge ourselves with lots of meat. The thought of eating unlimited amount of Brazilian barbeque meats can be intimidating, but rest assured they give you smaller pieces if that's what you fancy or you can ask for more slices if you're keen for it.

When you think world cup in 2014, Host nation Brazil is at the forefront and there really isnā€™t a better time for Sydneysiders to hit a Brazilian restaurant. We check into the not-so-bah BahBQ for an evening of churrasco eats. Its tucked away round the back in Crows Nest but a surprising great churrasco. Unlike the last one we went to ā€“ where we were literally chasing the waiter (at the now closed favela)ā€¦this filled us right up. I think we had about 15 courses and we could have had more but hey, YMMV. Really delicious meats in your belly. Bah BQ is a largeish venue and thereā€™s ample seating ā€“ from the looks of their instagram, lots of people come here to celebrate. Birthdays and the ilk. It can cope with large groups. Delicious reds. A selection of sides to start/complement the meals (Top Left Clockwise): Potato Salad, Bean Salad, Rice Pilaf, Rocket Salad and a selection of cheesebread, polenta chips, banana fritters and plantain. Condiments. Thereā€™s a few few and youā€™re meant to pair

These three were easily our favourite meats, beef rump is the one which I always ask for multiple servings because it's usually the most juicy and delicious cut. Chorizo and chicken wings are always good so we usually try and get a few of those when we get the chance because we find that due to the huge variety of meats on offer, each meat will only come around every hour or so.

Bah Bq offers churrasco (aka all-you-can-eat Brazilian BBQ) at $49 per person. Thanks to Tricia, who organised this particular dinner, we got a group discount and paid $35 per head on a Saturday night.

You are guaranteed never to go hungry at a Brazilian. BBQ chicken wings and drummettes were the next skewer. The chicken had been marinated then cooked over the coals. The meat was smokey and moist and fell from the bone.

The vibe is upbeat, striking just the right balance, withoutĀ descendingĀ into slap happy casual. The origin of the word ā€œBahā€ is intertwined with the culture and language of the Gaucho people who work cattle and agriculture near the Pampas border of Southern Brazil, and is a local expression of astonishment and admiration for something particularly good. The spirit of their simple, but passionate love of fire and food is celebrated here through the Churras
I Ate My Way Through
...let me take you with us on a journey to meat nirvana; BahBQ Crows Nest. Crows Nest was a little further afield than some of our usual jaunts, but the promise of the best Brazilian barbeque in Sydney had us jumping on the friendly red M20 in search of satiation and meat sweats. We arrived at the venue and stepped through the door and were immediately struck by the dĆ©cor, which somehow managed to be both sumptuously decadent and at the same time reassuringly warm and comforting. They were also rocking my favourite kind of lighting ā€“ the dim kind. I could go on for hours about the beautifying qualities of the merciful and generous dim light, but now is not the time, we have a meat journey to complete. We were shown to our seat, not by a disinterested and perfunctory teen who wouldnā€™t know customer service if it slapped her over the face, but instead by a charming, attentive and professional Brazi

I've been to BahBQ 3 times now and have every intention on coming back because the food here is absolutely amazing! The service is impeccable, the staff are so friendly and the manager is especially attentive of all his customers.

Fantastic. The service is first class, the quality of the food is fantastic. You get so much for your money, it's the first time I could not finish the entire meal.

Had a takeaway from there( which they normally wouldn't do)
Cost over $70 for ribs & a veg dish
Rip - off!!!
Cheaper to eat in- house!

Sensational Brazilian churrasco. We have been eating at BahBQ regularly over the last 18 months. The meat is well sourced and perfectly cooked. The accompanying dishes are great. The wine is good and well priced. The dining room is nicely fitout, contemporary but unmistakably Brazilian.

This is a great restaurant. We used to go at lunchtime but they now only operate in the evening. We have young children so the sunday night service seems to work well for us. Try it - you won't be disappointed.

Great food with a family or a big group. Lots of meat for the guys, lively loud atmosphere and friendly happy staff. A must try on the North Shore.

Tonight's dinner. Great food, service, waiters all lovely and all Brazilian - Jose the manager was delightful - loved all the meat - it just kept coming and was yummo! The pineapple on the skewer was worth the weight as we were so full that we almost skipped it but the waiter said it was worth the wait and it was to die for. Prawns were superb - don't know where we put those but they were demolished. Jose the manager was awesome - he never stopped running around the restaurant like a headless chicken and checked on us a couple of times. He was superb. He needs a pay rise we think as he couldn't have done better. They didn't try and pour my wine which I loved and my hubby loved his Brazilian beer.
We will be back - best meal out for ages without the kids - just what we were waiting for - they deserve to do well - now we know why it has always been fully booked out when we have tried to get in 1/2 a dozen times.
Good luck in the world cup guys! xx

Yes yes yes!. We had dinner here on Friday night - - my boyfriend and I. He is still talking about how good the food was and says this place may be his favourite restaurant ever!

The service is fantastic. We had the standard menu item which I'm guessing most people have, where all the sides are put on your table which are fantsastic and then the tender, smokey, grilled meat skewers are brought around and you can choose what meat you'd like to try. We ate everything and it was all great. My favourite was the haloumi.. he loved the lamb. We will definitely be going back. Great restaurant for a couple dinner or a fabulous group idea as well.

Dinner for 2 and beers was $130 which we were happy to pay for the quality we got :) Will definitely be going back and taking others here.

Amazing!! Went there for valentines day dinner and it was perfect. The lamb was my personal fav. The staff was extremely attentive and the wine was superb.

One of the best BBQ I've ever tried. 2 Thumbs up for their service and great ambience.

Best BBQ in the area. Love this place. Beautiful decoration, excellent service and the best steak in town.
The Brazilian BBQ is just fantastic. Love the variety of meats and side dishes and the options in the menu for the "non-eaters" of red meat
Renzo
I went there on a Saturday for lunch, the staff are very friendly and it was great service! The meats will keep you happy with a selection of sausage, beef, chicken and more. The all you can eat menu is very nice and please do yourself a favour and try GUARANA!
Meagan_s84
By far the best churrasco I've ever been to. Amazing food, great selection and variety. But best of all, the service was AMAZING. Haven't had such lovely waiters for such a long time. Will definitely be back!!

The Best Brazilian BBQ in Sydney. My wife and I have eaten twice at Bah-Bq in the past 3 months and based on those experiences, I booked my birthday party for 18 guests there on a busy Sat night. I had high hopes that the expected quality of the all you can meat, Brazilian BBQ and personal, attentive service would carry over for the event and Jose and the team did not disappoint in any way. Almost every guest at the party mentioned to me how much of a great choice the restaurant was and commented along the lines of ā€˜we have to do this again.ā€™ I couldnā€™t agree more.

The food on this occasion was even better than past experiences that had already set the bar very high. From deliciously tender pork belly with crunchy crackling, the always satisfying pork sausage, grilled halloumi, pork, beef, chilli beef, prawns, pork, oh god the wonderful meaty meal it was! We all packed away a healthy dose of meats and also an uncountable number of jugs of Sangria which was also exceptionally tasty.

At what cost you ask? The all you can eat BBQ is the only choice really, I canā€™t imagine ordering a la carte but Iā€™m sure those meals are good too. Itā€™s $49 per person plus drinks which worked out to be approx. $80 per person in out case. All in all a great deal, exceptional service and we will be back again for more parties.

Highlights?
ā€¢ Try everything, it is all good.

"I've eaten eight different meats... I'm a true Renaissance man.". We went to Bah-BQ last weekend using a Groupon voucher for Continuous Service Brazilian Barbeque for Two ($48) and were pleasantly surprised by how good both the food and the service were.

Note, we had eaten at another Brazilian-style BBQ place (Janus in Kings Cross) two weeks before (and had loved it) so we had an idea of what to expect. We went in thinking that Janus would be a tough act to follow.

Making the booking at Bah-BQ a couple of days ahead of time was easy over the phone. The location was a short walk from St Leonards train station. The interior of the restaurant was spacious and the service welcoming.

My wife, who is Mexican and knows her drinks, had the red sangria and loved it. (Later, I had to talk her out of ordering a second one b/c, after all the food, she would have dozed off for the rest of the day.)

We were served the wide variety of side dishes very promptly (rice, beans, polenta, rocket salad, potato salad, cheese bread, cassava) and then the meats started....

First, a sausage each - a welcome change of taste than your typical bangers. Then, the various amazing cuts of beef (sorry, I'm not so up on the different types but they were tender and delicious from the BBQ). Add in other foods, such as chicken, prawns, lamb, pork belly, haloumi, and we were just stunned. Topping it all off at the end was a piece of barbequed pineapple which was fantastic. We knew that we had found a new place to frequent.

So, outstanding food across the board. We would happily go back even at the full price.

Lastly, my wife just ate at Wildfire on Circular Quay two nights ago and was vastly disappointed by it. We will stick with our local Bah-BQ!

Amazing. Had all you can eat, absolutely amazing! 5 star food & service and a great venue. Wine was lovely and reasonably priced. One of the best dining experiences I have had in Sydney especially around Crows Nest. Definitely value for money and way to hard to choose a favourite dish, everything was incredible!
Travelling Palate
We had a party of 6 and all enjoyed the churrasco. Don't come here if you're not hungry... There is such an amazing variety of meats, you really are spoilt for choice. Remember to leave room for the barbequed pineapple, and (if you can) the churros!
Richard Universe
Undo the belt, get comfortable, and prepare to enter meat heaven! This place is exceptional.

I'm not in a habit of writing reviews but this place is tops. The service is great and it did not matter that we were there on coupons. Service was pleasant and the meat flowed without being obtrusive to conversation. We were there for lunch and there was no pressure to leave. I would highly recommend this place for service seldom experienced in Sydney these days.
Sissy
Too slow, we've waited for almost an hour before all the food came
Karen
Great service, nice vibe. I went here with a group of five and the service was amazing. We were never overlooked, the staff continually checking our drinks and if we wanted any more from the BBQ. The food is lovely, although we didn't get everything from the BBQ (for some reason the pineapple never came our way), but again - it would have been very easy to ask for it. Desserts were also amazing. Restaurant gets a little noisy, but its decorated really nicely, has a good vibe and free music, and the parking around that area is free of an evening. Worth a try!

Wow!. The best Brazilian restaurant in Sydney!! I've been to a couple (one big one in Darling Harbour) and the difference is this place is run by Brazilians and the cooks are Brazilian. The churrasco is great, but go there on an empty stomach. The challenge is to try and save room for desert. 5 stars

Lovely food, kind staff, great atmosphere!

The best food great service and drinks are great

Slow, inattentive service. Asked for an outdoor table when booking, never got it. Food average - will have to lift their game if they are going to survive in Crows Nest.
