The Crow Bar in Crows Nest is designed for everything from corporate events, Christmas parties all the way to relaxed and romantic dinners. The perfect atmosphere for live music, cocktails and sharing plates and beautifully cooked meats.
In a fantastic location opposite the shopping plaza, The Crow Bar is a combined Bar, Restaurant and Function Center. The first thing you see when you walk in is the naturally lit ceiling with hanging baskets full of green leafy plants. With the best spot in the house is near the front windows as it’s light and bright and more importantly close to the bar.
The menu is mainly Tapas, Sharing and Grazing Plates, but they also have mouthwatering burgers. For bigger functions they have this gigantic 1.4 MTR Viking Board! 2kgs of Lamb Shoulder, 2kg Pork belly and 2 whole roast chickens this board comes with all the trimmings. Baked potatoes, roasted veggies, steamed broccolini, and every sauce you could want, this epic board needs 48 hours notice and can feed upwards of 10 people.

Crow Bar is the kind of place you step foot in and don't want to leave. The atmosphere is funky, romantic and always pumping - a great place for dinner with friends or a romantic date night.
The new menu is delicious and there is nowhere else in Crows nest you can find incredible dumplings (the miso soup they come in is an absolute must!!), mouthwatering pork belly, cauliflower salad, ham hock papadelle all in the one place.
And to top it all off, the brownie on the dessert menu is the best I've ever had. You can't visit without trying it!
I have lived in Crows Nest for 2.5 years now and Crow Bar's new style has just blown wining and dining in Crows Nest out of the water - there is just no comparison.
Great food, amazing service, superstar chefs, and to top it off, a fun and inviting atmosphere make Crow Bar the game changer in the area.

Hands down the best bar on the lower north shore. The Crow Bar has cool cocktails, a relaxed atmosphere and they recently amped up their menu to bring gastro-pub food to the lower north shore. The service is welcoming, friendly and genuine, the wine list features a snappy selection of the best of local wine and a few internationals to keep the fussy quaffers happy. The front bar is perfect for a catch up with friends, other locals (who become friends) or for a spot of people watching while the Uber cool hand-built back bar caters to larger groups or a place to hide away on quieter nights. I recently tried the new food menu and the finely sliced pork belly with pickled daikon and crackling crumb, the prawn ginger and orange dumplings and the black pudding were standouts. Seriously... who puts black pudding on the menu?!! Don't like black pudding? I was dubious until I tried this dish... stop everything... it's the dish to go back for again and again and again. Along with the dumplings, the pork belly, the smoked ham hock pappardelle, the barramundi... yep the menu is amazing. Take your taste buds on a trip to the heart of gastro-pub heaven. I hear they're working on a new cocktail list too!
Little café with fast service, great food, friendly staff and awesome coffee. I tried the eggs benedict which are really yummy. Excellent café with great atmosphere
Love this place. If you want a local you have found it in crow bar. The staff are fantastic and if you're lucky you might bump into an owner or two. They know your order before you get to the bar. Not just a bar. Food is amazing and there are some great different options on the menu. Definitely try the prawns, they are fantastic. One of my favourite spots in crows nest!
What an absolute gem this bar is. From the moment you walk in it feels comfortable. The staff are incredibly friendly and knowledgeable and the cocktail menu is creative, very very tempting and delicious. Do yourself a favour and try the Merry Magpie for a smooth start to your night. Even more impressive was when one of my group asked for an off menu drink it was no problem at all and done well. I wished we'd had time to try out the food as it looked good too. But as coming back here on my next visit to Sydney is a must do it will be something to look forward to.

The Crow Bar is a great place for drinks and sharing food. The inside is dark and stylishly decorated, with black as their main colour scheme, making it rather sexy and sophisticated. They have 2 sections, the front bar area with high stools for a casual drink and feed and the back area with leather lounges and low tables for a more intimate setting.
The menu is made for sharing and broken up into 3 main categories. There are 4 different share boards, a range of share plates and also some bigger plates. The fried polenta chunks were nice and had a smoother texture than polenta chips, that I am normally use to. Great starter and best eaten while still hot. The chicken wings were ok, though had too much of a cheese drizzle, making it a little overwhelming. The king prawns in a chili cream/ cheese sauce was nice and great with the bread for dipping. We finished with the crispy chicken tacos and they were delicious. The use of sour cream and chimichurri on top was a great flavour booster. Overall we had a great meal. (Note: the online menu is a little different to the actual menu at the bar).
I will definitely be returning.

The Crow Bar hosted our company for a team dinner this week. The team made sure that we had everything we needed. We even had a private style area with a great ambiance. The food was ridiculously amazing and had the entire office talking about the "lamb that falls off the bone" for the rest of the week.
Crow Bar is Crows Nests best kept secret and is classy and trendy. The cocktails are a specialty and a must to try!
