Review Annata - Crows Nest

Matching wine degustation menu. Excellent food. Excellent service. The outdoor setting on the street is not spectacular, but it’s COVID safe and worth it for the food. Great value for money. Definitely worth experiencing. If you liked this review give me a follow.

Absolutely incredible food, we had the set menu with matching wines and couldn't decide which course was our favourite. All of the wines were delicious too, we really appreciated the extra time taken to explain each of the pairings. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!

Decided to leave the familiar surroundings of my suburb to venture somewhere different and on reviews chose this place. On balance, I can see a commonality of misgivings, but nothing ventured, nothing gained. Unassuming from the outside, but chic inside. Nicely lite inside with a very local feel to it. Food Oysters were ok, as Oysters generally are. The steak was cooked to perfection the sides of green and chips came out hot and were delicious. The Hapuka was excellent. The service was pleasant without being to pretentious. Bottom line for two with a couple glasses wine and champagne $280. (A comprehensive wine list including premium wines, was a nice touch) Although the food was of high standard, and I suggest visit, ( if you are looking for restaurant somewhere different), I just thought it just lacked that X factor That would make into somewhere that you would to return weekly or monthly, if you lived out of area.

Amazing degustation in a quaint charming atmosphere. It has all the ingredients for a truly memorable evening! Amazing food, high grade wine selection and lovely staff. Definitely worth multiple visits!

Went there on Tuesday and went with the Chefs Tuesday Tasting set menu; great courses; ordered some extra; plenty choice of wines;

Great dinning experience. We want on a Chef's tasting Tuesday, which is a cheaper set menu where the chef and the team will try to develop new dishes. The whole experience was fantastic. Good to see the creative process flowing. The wine pairing was perfect and service was top notch. We loved it and we are looking forward to visiting again.

Best service we have had in a long time. Attentive but not intrusive. Even though multiple waitstaff, they were seamless. Food set-courses delicious and the perfect sizing to feel satisfied but not uncomfortable. Wine selection excellent and enjoyable cocktails! Thrilled to have enjoyed our night out which are few these days. Thank you!
