Great little cafe, the bacon and egg roll is to die for. Excellent coffee. Try the Tropical smoothie as well, it's fantastic, just the right blend of banana and mango

This is a delicious place to get breakfast all day. The zucchini and potato fritters were incredible. You can sit outside and enjoy people watching on Willoughby, or sit inside the cozy restaurant. The staff is very friendly and warm. The service was great - even put together a special order for my picky four-year-old. They love dogs, so bring your dog along to dine outside with you.

This is a great spot for breakfast in "the Nest." The breakfast menu has so many choices and everything is freshly cooked and delicious. The kids loved the muffins and banana bread and the grown ups loved their choices too. The bacon and egg roll and the hummus breakfast were our favourites. Coffee was excellent too. We'll definitely be back.

The coffee is so good here, it never disappoints. And the food is fresh and interesting - really delicious and a cut above your average cafe meal. The staff are also so friendly and welcoming! Well worth a visit!

We had a group of three go for lunch, and everyone's meals were delicious! I has the beef burger from the specials menu, and it was outstanding. The coffee was great, and the service was friendly and attentive. Would recommend.

Boom! The name says it all. My second time here in two weeks and I'll be back. Nice folks, great menu, and awesome wall art. Look out for the pepper shaker display, very cool.

What an experience. Total quality from the friendly greeting to the coffee and then the food. I must admit the big breakfast was amazing as it wasn't piled high with the usuals but with a well chosen assortment of flavours and colours. Loved how the staff interacted with the patrons especially the children. Awesome place to be and reasonably priced.

Friendly and welcoming place with amazing food and even better coffee, the best cafe' in Crows Nest by far. The Chef is a magician and wizard with his food creations and ideas.

We have eaten a few lunches here and the food has been consistently delicious. The gnocchi especially was melt in the mouth. The staff are also super friendly and very accomodating if you happen to dine with babies / toddlers. Keep up the great work guys.

I love the staff and service and coffee!! When I had a stressful moment, spilt my coffee without even getting to the first sip - I was offered a refill with no expectation of an extra charge! Truly lovely service!

This cafe is located on Willoughby Road. Was drawn in by their sign offering a discount to ‘join the war on waste’ by offering a 30c discount off your coffee when you bring your own reusable cup. I find this very admirable and that more cafes would offer this option to save on all the coffee cups that can’t be recycled. Luckily we had our reusable cup on us!

Service was good and quick. Plenty of seating inside and out. Had a Chai Latte and it not too bad. Slightly milky but might be just personal preference.

Just your standard breakfast cafe in Crows Nest. Offers all the usual brekky options at normal prices.

Location is good with plenty of parking around. Service was friendly, but they need to clean the tables quicker as birds hover around picking at scraps on the remaining plates.

Nothing particularly wow factor about the food, but you get a decent feed. I did enjoy the chorizo though. Presentation is fairly average.

Boom! is a nice cafe run by friendly and energetic baristas who will always greet you with a smile. The breakfast menu is very well priced and the coffee really hits the spot. It is the perfect all-round cafe that doesn't have all the bells and whistles, but delivers a good breakfast.

Please read the full post on the link below

Greeted with a smile, lovely food and strong ass coffee. Came with a groupon voucher and the lady kindly explained what can be ordered. Grabbed the big breakfast ($19) and an iced latte ($4.50). The eggs were perfectly poached and the corn salad was nicely seasoned. The iced latte was super strong, had to add in heaps of raw sugar haha. This place ain't too bad. Would recommend.

Boyfriend and I strolled here on a Sunday morning to redeem our Groupon voucher. The place was packed but a friendly server promptly greeted us and explained their offer. Their breakfast menu doesn't feature vegan options but we were offered to swap the chorizo in their avocado toast for a hash brown. Score! The toast itself had a decent flavor with a generous splash of balsamic vinegar but was a bit lazy; the avocado could have at least been sliced into couple of pieces. The hash brown was meh, frozen and dripping with oil. The coffee, however, was excellent and we will be definitely coming back for it.

Been here twice for brekky and both times it was delicious. I've had the big breakfast and everything on the plate was just perfect. The Boom Benedict is another good dish. They don't show pancakes on the menu but we asked the chef and he was more than happy to cook for us and it looked good and tasted even better. You should try the milkshakes as well.
