Review Deli Noodles - Crows Nest

Ordered laksa and the soup was really bland and tofu tasted weird. We ordered laksa prior to our visit today their laksa used to be good and flavourful. But today the laksa was lack of flavour and it’s just coconut milk soup more of.

Generous portion of food. Food was served pretty fast and the price was reasonable.

Ordered satay beef hoikken noodles with extra vegetables. There wasn’t much “vegetables” for the extra $3 paid. The noodles were tasty regardless, just enough spice. Disappointed that I wasn’t able to order a drink to be delivered with my order

Simple unassuming looking diner that has great Hong Kong/ Cantonese style noodles. They make a very tasty beef brisket noodle soup which is the ultimate comfort food that will warm your bones. Prices are good too. A nice little gem in the suburbs.

Amazing laksa. I’ve eaten here for 20 years and the laksa is always consistent. Will be eating here until I can’t anymore. Thanks deli noodles!

Best satay chicken I’ve had in my life! I drive all the way to crows nest from Dulwich hill to get this amazing satay chicken. Been coming here for over 10 years can highly recommend!

Polite staff. Nice foods. Fast service. Reasonable price. I recommend this Hong Kong foods outlet.

Maybe it was just tonight but this place did not deliver a 4.3 star meal. Ordered a cha kway tiao and it was over salted / msg. Did not bother finishing. Wok hei was weak.

Excellent Chinese takeaway, fair price, get what you ask for. Exactly what you want and expect from a Chinese takeaway. Highly recommend! They have eftpos now too which is nice as it used to be cash only.

Nice cheap Chinese restaurant with good noodles, and nice satay.<br/><br/>The interior is quite small and cramped.<br/><br/>Had the wontons, the filling was good, but a little small.<br/><br/>Satay is good
Love Food!
Looking for a fast easy meal and love chinese food? This place is great! Generous servings. Take away is a good option as there are no available seats during peak time for groups more than 2.

My reviews are based on offering value-for-money to the knowledgeable customer.<br/><br/>Any food from any culture, whether offered at a restaurant, a food court, a small venue or even at home should follow these KEY principles:<br/><br/>"Simple, made with Fresh ingredients and offers Great Value to the customer"<br/><br/>"Customers must feel welcomed - an acknowledgement, a smile, a glass of water, etc.." <br/><br/>My Rating for Deli Noodles Crows Nest = 3.5, good food and value-for-money average $10 dishes.<br/><br/>Dishes are quickly made with a mix of fresh/not so fresh ingredients.<br/><br/>The serves are quite big and filling.  A bit greasy sometimes Eg the beef flat rice noodles.<br/><br/>The dishes could improve by the way the veggies are sliced and the way the food is presented on the plate.<br/><br/>Sometimes free Chinese tea would be offered, depending on the queue, or the moods of the waitresses, I presume.<br/><br/>Definitely, if you work or live in the area, a once-a-week/fortnight place to eat or take-away if you cannot think  of anything else.

I can only describe tonight's dinner as impressive as a primary school junior band performance, with the inclusion of kindergarten clarinets. <br/><br/>I ordered the "seafood laksa", and the only literal relevance it had to what I ordered was that some of the ingredients had previously seen food, granted not in this particular restaurant, but probably on their way to this hell kitchen during their distribution phase. The closest thing i could compare it to was the instant 2 minute noodle tom yum soup you buy from the petrol station, except without the flavour. Possibly they got coconut cream mixed up for coconut water, and coconut water mixed up for water. <br/><br/>My friend ordered the "special fried rice". In hindsight, it was special in the sense that special needs children need special schools. It was mysteriously dry and oily at the same time, an incredible feat really. Another special surprise was how they managed to remove all flavour from every single ingredient, and had an entire dish which could be likened to wok fried styrofoam with salt.

Haven't been to Deli Noodles for ages but it's comforting to know it is still how I remember it. Friendly and fast service. Takeaway mostly but they do have 6 or so tables to dine in. The place was packed at 6:30pm. One of my favourites is their special fried rice. The best I've ever had, hands down. With the two hour free parking around the corner in the new complex with Woolies etc, finding a park is no longer a drag.

By far one of my favourite places to grab quick, hot chinese-style food. Cooked expertly in front of you as you wait (dine in or takeaway), the food is always exactly the same and delicious. The staff are efficient and quick and the price is excellent ($9-11 a dish - takeaway). Make sure you grab the hot garlic chilli sauce on your way out or in. Perfect with every dish. A local GEM in Crows Nest.

Bought char kwee diao and wok hokkien noodles with bbq pork. Some parts of the kwee diao was still translucent white, telling me that it has not been furiously tossed in the wok. There was no 'charred' aroma either. The bbq pork hokkien noodles fared slightly better. Apparently they open late till 11pm most days, ok for a quick lunch or late supper if you are feeling famished. Portion generous. Service fast and efficient. Good value for money if nothing else.

Love this place! How can service be so good, wasn't really expecting much but the girl at the counter was so helpful, so nice, and her attitude alone made the whole meal that much more enjoyable.<br/><br/>Not only was the service top notch, but the vegetable rice noodles were delicious too! And at $9.80?! How can it get any better! Food was fresh, dish wasn't overly oily like a lot of Chinese restaurants, and a perfect serving size.<br/><br/>There weren't a lot of people that actually dined in, but plenty of customers were waiting for takeaway so seems like a popular spot for locals.<br/><br/>They are not dishes that will blow you away with a new taste sensation, but they are cheap and very much worth every cent. Fantastic value.

Great for a quick easy - no hassle lunch. Back to basics is the vibe in this noodle kitchen. <br/><br/>Order and Pay at the counter and then take a seat and they will bring it out for you. <br/><br/>Ordered the Chicken cashew nut and the beef noodles - came to $22.60 total! Pretty good if you are on a budget. <br/><br/>Arrived about 5 mins later - pretty efficient! Serving sizes are pretty generous too!

Yum! The food here is cheap, fast and super delicious. Service is faultless and super efficient. The laksa is a bit of a let down, but plenty of other amazing options well and truly make up for it. Highly recommend.

Best eating in crows nest!. Deli Noodles makes beautiful fresh asian food for ridiculously cheap prices. Every meal more than fills you up. <br/>Michael and his staff give great fast service.
Sarah
Great soups and great prices. Looks a bit dodgey but the food isn't bad.

Deli Noodles is a hidden gem. It's food is always fresh and delicous. I recommend the prawn dumplings or schezuan beef. One of my favourite places in Crow's Nest!
