Review Sushi 100 - Crows Nest

The food quality is excellent, genuinely tasty gyozos and sushi. However the photo I took represents $60 worth of food. One piece of sushi for $4 (if I'm being generous it could be considered half a roll) advertised as a roll is pretty poor value.

Food isn't authentic. You could actually make a better and tastier salmon avocado roll at home. The restaurant wasn't busy at all but the waitress was running and looking panic...no smiles throughout our experience. The only thing I like about the place is they use fresh wasabi, a nice touch. Otherwise if you crave authentic Japanese sushi, I don't recommend going here.

I thought the service was great, the location is excellent, the restaurant is nice and cozy and the prices were not too bad. I did like the selection of sushi, but honestly, I wasn't really impressed with the taste of the sushi. I rated three stars as I think the sushi was just OK and nothing great. Maybe I went at a slow time where the sushi might have been sitting for a bit??? not sure, but, again, it was just mediocre. With all the great restaurants in the area and multiple sushi restaurants, I will be going elsewhere for my sushi fix.

Ordering takeout or pick up from you is one of the worst experience I’ve ever had with any restaurants. Since COVID I have ordered from you many times and the orders were either cancelled from your end after a long waiting period, or the orders would come with items missing. I have tried to ring the restaurant every single time but no one ever picks up. I have recently tried ordering pick up orders and even then there would be items missing upon arrival. And the answer I get is a certain item has run out. The right thing for you to do would have been to ring your customers and ask if they’d like a replacement rather than not fulfilling the order. Tonight I have placed another order but it was never confirmed after waiting for 30min. I tried to ring 3 times in a row and of course no one picked up. Your food is absolutely great but you really need to improve your customer service and have the courtesy to pick up your phone. It honestly is so disappointing to have that many bad experience even though your food is good.

So far the best Japanese and sushi train on lower north shore. Excellent sushi with a great service. You can’t beat the personalised service of Hin, he’s always happy to make you anything fresh if you don’t like the stuff on the sushi train. I have no hesitation in recommending Sushi 100 to anyone.

Went at 3pm and ordered nigiri sushi, soup and sashimi. Had to ask staff to prepare fresh sushi as they wanted to give it from the train. Worst part was finding a fruit fly in the clam soup, however staff was nice and took it back. Offered free soft drinks but didn't take it up. Food is average at best and a tad overpriced. Overall below average experience, giving a 1 star cause of the fly

It's a sushi train, it was nice. Some interesting varieties and the staff were VERY on top of their service, which I was impressed by! Normally at sushi trains I have to ask over and over again for water but here they would fill it up before I even had to ask! They were really on the ball.

Loved it! I'm a crazy sushi train lover living in crows nest.. and I always went to the city or chatswood for it, but I don't have to do it anymore! I'll definitely come back for these lovely sushi, udong, nice service and environment
