I've never been a huge Mexican good fan, but I'm thinking it's probably just because I don't eat enough of it. Guzman y Gomez is a pretty reliable chain and of course, where I get most of Mexican food from. The Crows Nest store was incredibly busy on a Friday night, and clearly they were inundated with delivery orders. Nonetheless, our food arrived pretty quickly, and the service was friendly.
I was surprised that the quesadillas were as filling as they were, considering they were on the small side. The flavours were very good, and of course the self serve condiments bar is always nice. Our friend's order was forgotten and they gave him a voucher for a free burrito as an apology which is nice of them. Definitely recommend.
For a fast food Mexican chain restaurant, this one is probably one of my faves when it comes to convenient, tasty and healthy options. I’ve precious tried the burrito from here and this time wanted to try the salad. The large size is a decent portion size with plenty of fresh salad leaves, real corn that’s cut from the kernel (not that nasty tinned stuff) and marinated chicken thigh which was very juicy and tender and packed with flavour. I barely even needed the salad dressing, it was tasty on its own.
My other half ordered the enchiladas which were very filling and tasty.

burrrritooooooo! I really love that you can fill up on one burrito and pay so little for it. Taste is always good here, I normally get the chicken burrito with everything in it. YUM
I have not yet tried any Guzman outlets, but desperate times call for desperate measures. We ordered through Uber Eats from North Sydney & to our surprise, it turned up at the building in 20 mins of ordering. I got a salad, with pulled pork & guacamole. The pork was really soft and had good flavours. Rest of the salad was enjoyable too. Very tasty.
Tasty Mexican food. Good burritos, The nacho fries are over the top decadent. The food generally comes out pretty quickly.
The outdoor seating area can get a bit dirty at times.
Food quality can be variable at times.
My old local Guzman (not crows nest) was consistently disappointing and it really turned me off eating GyG for ages.
After close to 2 years without eating it I decided to give it another chance and thanks to the team at GyG Crows Nest and their consistent excellence I am a believe again. Praise the lord.
In love with this place!!! They serve fantastic Mexican food. Got introduced to this place through an office colleague. She ordered dinner from here once we were doing late nights at work. Since then I might have visited this place twice. Loved their open burritos, fajitas, enchiladas and my favourite Jarritos.

Decent burrito and cheapish makes for a good lunch time meal
Lots of carbs (rice) so you definitely leave full and theres a decent amount of meat in it too for the protein
Not bad and recommend for a quick and filling lunch
This was an inexpensive meal, kind of a fast food Mexican menu place. It's probably not particularly a place we would seek out but the ingredients were fresh and it was fast.
