Went here for my partners birthday. Made a large booking. Wait staff saw us to our table quickly and got us menus quickly. We had prebooked online which we liked Wait staff Didn’t ask for our drink orders til we were all there unfortunately and took even longer to ask for entree/main otders. They seemed understaffed and a bit stressed. We started with the arancini balls which were very nice but expensive for their size. We then followed with a variety of dishes such as mushroom risotto, crab spaghettini and vongole. The serving sizes were large and food was nice. Unfortunately the dishes were made in bulk so any changes weren’t an option but all good. Very filling so we didn’t opt for desert. In the end we all go a scratchiest which won free gelato(to be redeemed on next dining) coincidence? I think not. Very nice food, nice staff, good serving sizes only problem was slow service but we were a table of 10 so figured it may be a wait
I have been here numerous times and it never disappoints.
The service is always incredibly quick and efficient. The food come and it is absolutely perfect. Simple fresh large dishes. You literally eat like you are in Italy.
The environment is family friendly but you can also hide away if you want to.
Highly recommend.
Great place with great authentic Italian food. We had the Chef Tasting Menu. The food was so good that even though we were full by the second course, we still had everything!
Came here for lunch and had the signature set menu. Started off with an antipasti board - generous amounts of meats, cheese and bread. We got the bresaola and burrata pizza, and lamb ragu penne - both could used a bit more flavour but overall was pretty good
Metre long pizza anyone? There were so many toppings I couldn’t decide where to start. The pizza base was crispy and thin. Had a really great time trying all these flavours! And on Sunday kids eat free!
The empire of Fratelli Fresh seems to be ever expanding, including an outpost in Crows Nest on the bustling Willoughby Road. There are a few set menus available but we decided to go for the a la carte option. We started with the Fratelli House Salad with butter lettuce, avocado, nashi pear, radish, gorgonzola and sliced walnuts. It was a refreshing salad, perfect for a hot summer's day.
Lovely ambience suitable for all kinds of groups. Large, a small family or even a couple as they have tables to suit. Great semi causal place and child friendly. We sat at a booth seat which was perfect for us especially with a toddler! Excellent service. Food came out fast great for a hungry toddler! We got the set menu at $39 per person. Our son had the ravioli from the kids menu. He ended up eating our food instead so we ended up eating his meal which was really nice too. The zucchini flowers were a bit small especially paying $5 each i would expect it to be larger. The linguine with prawns was great. The banoffee pie for dessert was excellent!! It's definitely on my "to go back to" list for sure.
They are one of the few places in the area that will have their kitchen open during late lunch i.e. post 1pm. The entire menu won't be available, but they will be able to offer you a pizza. This was much better than other restaurants in the area that will simply inform you that lunch time is over and they can't serve you (which I think is silly).
I ordered a vegetarian pizza with artichokes and rocket leaves. It was nice overall and I'd say it wasnt too expensive.
They serve alcohol and have limited outdoor seating available.
Probably the greatest duck pasta ever invented!!
Duck, orange rind, chilli and pappardelle pasta...
Amazing!! Could ask for more from an Italian restaurant... Boom
In Short: Fratelli Fresh Crows Nest is Italian food the way it should be, quality ingredients prepared simply in a casual and welcoming space.
Italian food done well is an exercise in simple, quality ingredients prepared with a passion for showcasing their flavours.Having traveled throughout Italy sampling it’s many regions’ specialties, I’ve cultivated an enormous appreciation for the honest approach of true Italian food. Finding that same authentic approach in Fratelli Fresh’s Crows Nest location not only transports me back to lazy lunches in sun-drenched Tuscan villages, but reassures me that real and outstanding Italian food is on our doorstep.

There's no hiding our love of Italy and Italian food. Mind you, we love food from everywhere to be honest, but Italy is a bit special. Fratelli is a name that';s well know across Sydney - and quite rightly growing. They do good Italian food in good quantities at good prices. It's clearly a winning combination. With this in mind we dropped in on their newish Crows Nest restaurant. This place is quite big. It used to be a club previously - so there's room to move.

One of our favourites, whether in the city or in Crows Nest, as a couple or as a family.
The food is always delicious and the service is generally excellent. Tonight, we were served by Alejandro, who was fantastic.
The kids eat free offer means the whole family can eat very economically. Normally, there are kids packs, so they can entertain themselves colouring in whilst mum and dad can enjoy dinner.

Authentic Italian food done the right way. Attention to quality ingredients and a genuine and simple approach that showcases the true flavours of the food. The space is casual and welcoming with both indoor and al fresco dining. We were lucky enough to try the special of duck pappardelle... outstanding!
Wonderful dinner at Fratelli Fresh, the food was fresh, delicious and plentiful. I would love to thank the staff for being so attentive and remembering our large order. The male bartender went above and beyond our expectations for our cocktails. I’ll be coming back for every occasion.
Came here on a public holiday Easter Monday. Arrived before 12 noon and could get a table for 7 (otherwise you need a reservation). Received good service even though we had 3 kids and they were very accommodating. Did the set meal which was good value. Arancini balls (4) are good although a little small. Really liked the Tartufo pizza and lamb ragu pasta. Banofi tart at the end was a great way to end off. A little on the pricey side but really fresh ingredients. Will come back again!
The service was excellent, with staff always coming to refill water and asking when you're ready for them to take your order. Even though, there was no garlic bread, as it was out of stock, I got the mushroom risotto, which was the perfect portion size and tasted amazing. Would definitely go there again!
