Review Ciao Ciao Pizza - Crows Nest

These guys never let me down. I ordered 17 various pizzas for my running club; the pies were ready for pickup on-time, despite the stormy weather. Plenty of comments about how great the pizza was too. It all got eaten.

Best place to get pizza in crows nest, let alone lower north shore. Thin crispy base crust and ingredients are always fresh. Owner is warm and welcoming, family run business from the look of it. Always order from here when we get pizza, no-brainer.

I really loving going to ciao ciao. This one guy was white AND tall. He help me get best pizza. He helped me recover. He saved me. I am forever in doubt of ciao ciao. I will work day night blood sweat tears to give my life for ciao ciao. I will sacrifice my own life of ciao ciao

absolutely beautifully–made, i’m a local around here and this is my go—to place for pizza. the tall guy was so knowledgeable on the products and recommended me the ‘silvia’ pizza. expectations exceeded and i found the results to be exceptional. highly recommended to go here.

Save your time saving money! Useless staff giving the wrong pizza and expecting customers to do the leg work to correct the fault. Couldn’t even complete a refund for the customer after I walked 15 minutes back to the shop to give him the pizza back they beyond wrongly cooked. Again why hire teens to run a business?

we ordered half and half (half veggie lovers and half chicken lovers) and it was all mixed up. chicken was all over the entire pizza . My wife is vegetarian and there is a reason why i ordered half and half.. she can't eat pizza now plus we paid extra for peri peri sauce which was not there and pizza delivery came a bit late...this was the worst experience i had from any pizza shop till date ..definitely pizza hut is way better than this.

I’ve been to a lot of pizza places, and this place makes one of the best Margherita pizzas. Beautiful soft dough, mozzarella and basil. Properly cooked. Even the young cooks I saw making it did a great job. Well done!

Ordered 2 pizzas. One for myself and one for my husband. On the menu, one of the pizzas had no cheese listed in the ingredients (other pizzas with cheese, listed the cheese), and also, in the Customise section, there was no ‘Remove Cheese’ listed as an option. The Pizza arrived with cheese. Spoke to them and they apologised and sent a replacement pizza - a ham and mushroom pizza.... spoke to them again and they finally sent ANOTHER replacement pizza, which my husband ate 2 hours after the initial pizza order - at 9pm. Also it was cold, and the delivery person dropped the boxes and they came folded (see photo).

Food arrived on time and pizza was good. Though it arrived cold. That is highly disappointing. The driver just handed me a pizza box so not even sure if they use heat bags to keep the pizza warm while delivery. Also got a Caesar salad. Did not like it. Didn't taste like Caesar salad at all.

Have ordered their premium pizzas this evening, the toppings and pizza were burnt . Can't believe I spent $22 for a pizza! Very disappointed

Great to find pizza stores that do real pizza! Real fresh ingredients and great pizza. Was good.

Received the wrong pizza. Called up to try and get the one we actually ordered and it was just such a hassle. Girl we spoke to was hardly apologetic. Initially advised it would take 30min and then advised it would take 1hr45 to get it delivered. It was your error but the poorest attempt/acknowledgement to rectify it. Never ended up getting the pizza we ordered. First time trying your pizzas. Definitely won't be going back.

The other day me and my friend went to Ciao ciao pizza to grab some of them to take away, it turns up I saw my own name (Wanda) in one of the pizzas, that was absolutely yummy !!! Mix of seafood and bit of spicy. Good choice !! Bet all the rest are really good too.

Overall great experience! The pizza is deliciously fresh- loads of toppings & the thin brick oven crust is done just right! Fast service, friendly staff, & great quality! Highly recommended :)

We order from ciao ciao all the time and the food is normally good! However today it was terrible, including the customer service. We ordered the pizza at 7:15 (I have a SMS notification and email from Menulog to confirm it), after 20 minutes of the expected time, I called and the staff told me that the pizza was ready, just waiting someone to deliver. After they told me that my order was made at 7:45, not the time that I told them. When I received the pizzas, the three were really cold, and the taste was terrible. Shame on you Ciao Ciao.

Too long delivery and wrong delivery!! It took them 1h 20 min to deliver 2 pizzas, on delivery they had forgot the garlic bread as well. Now it's been 2 hours since I first ordered and called twice and there's been no sign of the rest of the food. Will never order from them again.

They are great when you actually get what you ask for and not something covered in unwanted toppings that are apparently "standard" despite not being mentioned anywhere on the menu as being included on the pizza. Ringing up about the order was met with a very dismissive attitude and as the 2nd time the pizza has been ruined and nothing being done I won't be ordering from them again!

Ciao Ciao Pizza is yummy-tasty, good value, convenient and offers a wide range of toppings. Me and my partner ordered a large Simona with garlic bread, a dessert and soft drinks for only $30... And it was so good! Thanks Ciao Ciao!

We have been loyal customers for over a year with Ciao Ciao Pizza and have ordered about 17 times during that period. Our last online order was not received through menulog and we waited over an hour for delivery after receiving a receipt and sms notification. After calling and asking where our order was we were guaranteed a free pizza upon our next order and the person I spoke to said that they would put a note on the system. I called tonight to place my order and explained that I had a free pizza and it should be on the system and 'surprise surprise' - nothing on the system and not even any attempt to keep us as customers. I am never ordering from Ciao Ciao again. Very bad customer service and no recognition of customer loyalty!! Very disappointing! Ciao for ever!

I would not recommend this place. We ordered 3 pizzas for home delivery and were told 35 mins. We rang back an hour later and were told they were just coming out of the oven. Called back a further 20mins later and told it would be another 15-20 mins while they wait for a driver. We drove the 3 mins up the road to pick them up. The Pizzas were cold and soggy. I will not be going back.

Ordered through Uber eats and said the order was delivered after 20 mins but upon waiting over an hour we never received our pizzas. Had to order pizzas from elsewhere after they told us there’s nothing they can do as it was an Uber issue. They made the pizzas though???? What a joke of a restaurant and would never order from them again.

Me and my friend ordered the Cheese Lovers (Chiara) and Pepperoni (Daniela) pizzas. Nicely woodfired with thin crunchy base and generous toppings. My friend got the Gluten Free option which was excellent as well. Friendly staff. Would recommend

Even though the pizzas were tasty, with delicious toppings and thin crust, freshly baked out of wood fire oven; I was quite disappointed when I opened the boxes at home. <br/>The pizzas weren't cut at all, and both were burnt around the edges. One slice even had a piece of charcoal on it.<br/>This pizza place definitely has potential, if they actually have a little attention to detail.

It is our favorite pizza place in Crows Nest. The ingredients are fresh and the preparation is done well. My own favorite is Hillary. Yum yum.

Poor quality food, no flavour and not what the picture suggests. Pre-ordered at 5pm for 8pm delivery and still late! Won't be ordering again!

Late arrival even though we gave hours of notice, arrived cold and pizzas have no flavour, all 3 were ordered just tasted like plastic cheese unfortunately

Used to be our favourite but has really been consistently terrible. I think they just can't keep up with their demand so they just try to keep pumping out their pizza's no matter what their quality. Have given them three tries to get it together but it's always the same!Pizza are consistently wrong, even though extra money was paid for extra toppings - consistently late, like upwards of 20+ minutes without so much as a phone call - and then to top it off they sometimes turn up completely burnt, cold or soggy. When you try to call and talk to the manager to have them rectify their mistakes you get nowhere. Complete waste of time with no customer service. Such a shame.

Grabbed a couple of pizzas from here on a Saturday night without knowing much about the place. Service was very friendly, and pizzas came out quick. Whilst there was nothing to fancy or over the top with the pizzas, there were no complaints either. Simple and great tasting pizza.

Never again. The pizza is very bad. Dough disgusting same as ingredients, ages in my stomach to get digested. I was almost sicked. Many toppings randomly put altogether without sense. Nothing italian at all!!!!!!

Lots of toppings and base could be cooked a bit more. But for a dinner on a wet windy night. Perfect. Please update your open hours it says you are closed tonight .

What a shame! I have enjoyed pizza from here for ages despite it often taking too long for delivery. Unfortunately I now have to find a new pizza place after a >90 minute wait for delivery, a non explanation for the delay ie no apology and then pizza that had slipped and was all squashed at the end of the box. Sadly it is now Ciao for Ciao Ciao :(

Amazing Pizza. I have ordered from Ciao Ciao few pizzas to be delivered for my bday party. The pizzas arrive earlier and were delicious. I like this place and I will order again

Evan. Terrible service. The pizza did not arrive. I called the store 10 times and was told that I could not speak to the manager or have his or her name. I asked for a refund and was told I would have to contact their online menu provider. This is the worst service I have ever experienced. I will never order from this unprofessional restaurant again.

Took 3 hours to get pizza no one called, when it turned up the pizza was upside down in the box and stone cold...service is a joke. Called 5 times to find out where it was. 3rd time I called the said it was on it's way. Hour and half later it turns up. Very very very poor.

Best pizza in Crows Nest. The dough is amazing and toppings always fresh. Love it!
