Review Arrabiata - Crows Nest

Pauline Taylor
My partner remarked that it was the worst meal he had had in Sydney in 35 years and reminded him of the standard of restaurants in Sydney in 1959/1960. Friends kindly gave us a voucher and being keen on Lebanese food, it was very disappointing. To top it off, there wasnt even a Lebanese desert available Dreadful.

Great to see a very affordable and quality Lebanese Restaurant on lower North Shore...(the tabouli and humos are to die for)! Very family friendly and the staff are always coming to the table to see if all is good. Great atmosphere and great host ( did not get his name!!) Overall, a great restaurant...will be there again, for sure !

It was just awful went there for a 50th the food was awful the staff were grouchy the room was stuffy and was overall embarrassing because I was the one to suggest it. Do yourselves a favour even with a voucher its not worth it.

Pretty average and ordinary not recommended. So many better cheaper restaurants in Crows Nest.

What a shameful excuse for Middle Eastern hospitality. Rude staff, total lack of atmosphere. We went for a big family dinner and will NEVER go back. I hope that others don't make the same mistake. Please be gone from Crows Nest ASAP

Substandard and lie. I often work late nights and they are the only place open in the area to grab a quick bite before heading home. Last 3 visits Ive asked if they have any kind of kebab left only to be told, no, and then the hard sell put on the dry, old, crusty "pizza" and frittata. So as always, I ask if I can get a falafel roll ( which is never offered ) ....again substandard but nothing else open. So Im waiting for my roll ( after having to remind that I wanted alll toppings, and dont think you'll get traditional pickled radish or cauliflower or anything trad, this is your kebab shop window fare minus the kebab) soooo group of 3 guys walk in from the pub. They are all offered chicken kebabs by the same person that served me and the chef happened to be near and informed everyone that there was also beef. Disappointing to be lied as a regular customer. Guess they figured I'd just buy the food noone else would and that is only edible when you haven't eaten all day and is smothered in sauce and chilli to assust getting it down. Never again will I buy overpriced, stale and bland food from you!

Great!. I wasn't going to go to this restaurant based on the online reviews and ratings. We got one of the deals as it was local - so tried it without any expectations. The food was lovely. There weren't any surprises in the meals provided - but everything was very tasty and very generous. I recommend you try it and see for yourself.

Delicious & authentic Lebanese food!. Not sure what the bad reviews are for below as we ate dinner here last night & thought the food was so delicious! There was 4 of us and we had a banquet and there was so much food - dips, bread, vine leaves, falafels, kibbeh, skewers, rice, beans & more! The hummus was the best I have tasted. All the food was homemade. I highly recommend this place!

Terrible food and bad service. Don't bother, this place is stuck in the 80s and the food is terrible. Stay away.

Poor. I'm sorry but this has to be the worst Lebanese food I have ever had, defiantly not authentic and very expensive, defiantly not a $$, more a $$$$.

Lovely!. Tried Arrabiata for the first time last night. Service was very friendly and the food was delicious. We had a seafood platter with lobster, oysters, prawns, baby octopus, calamari, lightly fried white fish, chips and salad. The baby octopus and calamari, they were ridiculously tender, and I loved the salad with rocket and pomegranate seeds and light balsamic dressing. Would definitely go back.
